@@cromandum217 everyone knows about what? The masks or that I keep finding new things in Skyrim? I didn't know everyone knows me, thanks but I think you're overestimating me. About the masks, I think it's obvious that literally not everyone literally knows about them. So, what's your point? Just trying to look clever? I think you look just unnecessarily arrogant instead.

​@doomedarts Wrong. You must have missed that news article about Cromandum. He recently finished an extensive worldwide trip where he asked everyone if they new about the dragon priest masks. The only one that didn't know was you! And now you do. I bet you feel really silly for doubting him now. Next time do your research!

You'd think that the developers would think of that, but it looks like they had mental diarrhea and couldn't get their head out in time to avoid brain damage and a brown ring on their neck, and the residual methane fumes caused a sleepy Joe moment and they ran with "sacrifice all your masks for something that only*might* work for you. Yeesh. They really should have taken a few hours from watching their lunch digest.

I don't think fusing all the masks would make sense as the priests were different persons, but maybe give you a major buff to shouts, magic or magic resist when you had all of them in the inventory or if you put them in a place like the one in the video. But there are a LOT of unfinished quests in base Skyrim that they never addressed. Thanks to the community, some of them got finished.

​@justincooper5189 you don't sacrifice anything. Once you get the center mask, you can grab the others and put them back in your inventory lol.

Completely agree. I don't understand why high tier dragon armor looks way worse than glass and daedric.

​@@dogeatsthesun908 I mean, it's made out of bones you ain't gonna shape it like glass, ebony or any steel. Maybe you could carve into it and make it fancy, but imagine you're a designer at bethesda trying to convey the idea of armor made out of bones, and you make it look fancy and elegant. Doesn't make any sense. If it was a game focused solely on dragon armors, and there was no other option (no steel, iron, ebony etc.) then obviously you would get different variants, ranging from crude and sturdy looking to detailed, elegant ones. This dragon mask design tho sucks af, I agree it's completely unimaginitive.

@@caiusactinunwise1412 I disagree. It's a game. You can draw everything you can imagine. And Skyrim is not very realistic game tbh. And making fancy glass armor is way harder than dragon bone armor imo. It's more a matter of lack of imagination, laziness, or tight development deadlines, rather than an attempt to get closer to realism.

@@dogeatsthesun908 That's a fair point, but then every single thing could be over the top, beautifully shaped and ornamented, and in result nothing would stand out, it would simply be noisy. With a mindset like yours, games such as ghost of tsushima are the most beautiful games ever made, just because it's so oversaturated, and there's beautiful flowers, rivers and mountains everywhere. Every armour is so detailed and stylised, and it all looks amazing at first BUT after a while you notice how overwhelming and noisy it all is. Something I learnt about art is that simplicity in design and colour grading goes a long way. And again, here, in this case of dragon armour, it makes complete sense for it to be simple and crude. It's an armour made out of bones, you know the things, for example, a caveman would strap to his arm for protection after hunting a mammoth, whereas glass requires some actual technological advancement in order to just create it. You argue it's most likely just laziness and lack of imagination on developers' part, and I could agree since it's a video game AND Bethesda at that, but in this case it does convey these ideas I talked about very well. Also, there's mods when having different preferences in artstyle. Awfully long essay on something so trivial. Wtf is wrong with me. You don't need to read it. Cheers

@@caiusactinunwise1412 I've read it) My only complaint is that the armor that is not the strongest looks better and is more detailed than the objectively strongest armor. The player will eventually outgrow all types of armor and spends most of the game in dragon armor. In my opinion, it should have been made at least at the same level of development. That's it.

How did you get all 9 in one shot? What was your build guide?

@@paytonhull8369 There is no racemenu for NPCs I just use the player racemenu and apply the changes manually on the NPCs as shown in the video. You can use a mod called A change of face to access the racemenu without console and without having to make a new save file

Unfortunately I haven't explored the custom races yet. I did a skeleton follower once so I assume the process is pretty similar, you just have to assign the custom race to the NPC and create the various head parts. But I think I tried with CotR once and the CK crashed on me so not really sure how to go about it XD

I think this only works on your own setup though, you can't share the NPCs you make with others. I haven't had the chance to try Proteus yet
