I'm a lifetime archery hunter. Last year I bought a cz12 and loved every shot!! I've only shot high brass out of the gun, between goose loads and deer slugs I've shot enough to know. The gun just works!!! Good luck to everyone this hunting season be safe and shoot straight.

I just ordered one. My Beretta A400 came with packaging like this but it was almost 3 times the price. My Beretta A-300 just came with 3 choke tubes and a cardboard box. I'm really impressed with CZ.
Great video. I have a gas operated Winchester SX3 3.5" chambered. It can take a lot of shells and get very dirty with no issue. light PTFE lubrication and i think it helps keep the gunk from building up. The syling looks great on the CZ. All the best from Ireland.
As expected, made in Turkey. I have no problem with that, but quality on Turkish Guns vary wildly. However, Huglo is definitely one of the top manufacturers there. I have a “CZ” side-by-side shotgun and love it. The level of detail and work put on engraving it would cost a fortune if it were made in Europe. Turkey is famous for good artisanship with fair prices.

Thanks for great review. Have the same gun and haven't had an issue yet. Has digested everything without a break in period and without issue, but not run light target loads. I'm happy with it.
I’ve been using the cz 1012 in bottomlands for deer and it works great. You can get the buck kicker chokes for it, I have the extra full and a hiviz rear sight and she works great
Really like your videos, they are always informative. It is a shame UA-cam keeps changing their allowed content. Hickok45, you, and others are all great. I picked up the black/walnut version for pest control because the Winchester Model 50 was rusting and i felt bad for it. It will cycle target loads and anything else but if the box says low recoil regardless if its 00 buck it wont cycle. Its a great shotgun although the old model 50 is superior for clays and 🤙
Your reviews are always thorough and most excellent! I would like to suggest that in your future rifle reviews that you also show and explain how is the factory recoil pad attached to the butt (and how to remove it) in case a buyer would like to replace it with a Limbsaver or a Falcon Strike brand of recoil absorbing pad which can help reduce or eliminate shoulder pain when firing these very powerful firearms. Thank you!
Thanks for this review , I'm needing an good economical bird gun and this seems to fit the bill , I like the Savage/Stevens seems to be a work horse also. Great review 👍 Stay Strong 💪🇺🇸🙏😎
I have exact same model for one season. I noted the point of impact was low. The manual does not tell you which shim to use to make adjustments. Once I figured that out, I was able to raise it. The customer service support did not have any information on the adjustments. It was acceptable for upland pheasant hunting, but not a great sporting clays gun. It does not handle 7/8oz of 1oz loads well. After about 300 rounds, it got better, but not 100% reliable. For waterfowl, it is great. The price point is very good. I would look at the Stoeger 3500 vs. the 1012. They shoot very well.
Thanks for making the effort to pattern test the gun, however without a POA dot the viewer is left at a loss of useful info. The relation between POA and POI is very important.

I would not trust this gun with light loads unless you are 5'10" and weigh at least 220lbs. and then it would have to be proven. Definitely not good as a 3 Gun shotgun! I would totally hit the unload button under stress and dump all my ammo on the ground! Its a neat feature but should be separate from the bolt release button. I do like the chokes that come with.

Crappy pattern at 12:28. If that is Modified choke at that distance, lots of holes in that pattern with the bird shot. Has to be the shells, not the shotgun. Soft lead and/or cheap wads will do that.
Sootch just curious did you try the light loads after shooting roughly 250 higher powered shells? My benelli requires it before trying to cycle light loads out of the box.
