@@divasanddementia4925 dearheart, in saying that, I just want to convey this, and I have seen these kind of remarks by others abt their mom's... but God tells us to honor our mother and father, that our days will be long upon the land the Lord thy God giveth thee.. he puts no time limit, no conditional commands, he just said it and either we do it or wait to experience his indignation. What I mean is, but 1st for the record, I lost my mom at 6 yrs of age, our eldest sister who is turning 80, took care of all her siblings under her( there were 15 of us), she made a vow to our mother and she kept it.. We havent always agreed, and none of us are perfect, but when it comes to a mother or father, God expects more. We honored our father till he passed at 74, he served in 3 wars and still raised and trained us up in the way we were to go. God is watching and listening, he is not just listening to what comes out of our mouth, but he is watching and listening to your heart. He knows what being politically correct in our doings is, as opposed to giving of oneself from the heart. It is all in the present tense with God. Wherever your mother has fallen short in your life, he wants you to give that to him, because when her time to leave this world and ho before 'him', thats whom she will have to give an account. Because dearheart, he is watching your heart, and trying to teach you how to love unconditionally, and give from a place of gratitude, that you would have her in your life, even under these conditions, because once she is no longer w you, it will be a whole new ball game. Some people think life will ease up and you can carry on accordingly, but thats a lie from the Devil. God is trying to do some things in you, and your time w your mom is part of it. If we work from our flesh it will be evident, but if we work from our heart and spirit , that will be evident too. I pray you get by yourself, cry out to him about whatever ails you abt her, and give it to him, and ask him to free you from the past so you can benefit from whats in the future.
