Im not familiar with this channel but I bet anything that Ms. Norma was a very active and social person BEFORE dementia..my best friends moma(RIP) was just like Ms. Norma. She was so active that through her dementia they tried everything and nothing worked. She was active until the day she died. And as frustrating as it was for her family, every day was a blessing. God bless you Ms. Norma and family.

My Grandma used to put the meds in tea for Auntie Lula who was diagnosed with dementia as well. They would sit a discuss events over tea and before you knew it she was ready for a nap. There were long days and nights which ran continuously for days until Mama had to take a different approach to the situation. This took place at least 3 times a week because she couldn’t go to adult daycare without having slept because she’d keep all the attendants chasing her and neglecting the other patients.
It works, myself talk with their physicians on how this may help with sleeping.

I wish my dad would have been mobile. He was bed ridden by the time I got him diagnosed. But, the memories were amazing. He still would cut up laying in the bed. ❤

I can only imagine what a force she was prior to Alzheimer’s because she’s so vibrant. You’re patient, funny, loving and beautiful. You make me think differently about dementia. Again, thank you.
