Songwriting Tips - Pt 1 - Writing A Chorus With Toontrack's Ez Keys

Greetings!
I was recently commissioned to write a custom song for a new client who wanted to surprise his girlfriend for Valentine's Day and I decided to film the whole process of building the foundations of song from the ground up in logic.

The writing and pre-production session itself took about an hour so rather than show it to you all at once, I decided to chop it up into three separate videos to make things more digestible.
If you're familiar with my "Writing A Riff From Scratch" series here on the channel, you'll see some similarities. If you're new to the concept, basically this is the online equivalent of being a fly on the wall during a songwriting session or even an intern at a recording studio watching over the shoulder of what the head engineer does when working on records. (Except of course we're not talking about mixing here.)

Pop Ballad Songwriting Prompt
Length: 2 minutes
Mood: Romantic
From: BF
For: GF
Occasion: Valentine’s Day
Tempo: Slow
Instruments: Piano, Vocal
MOOD : ROMANTIC - You can use your discretion with slow tempo vs. uptempo (9/10 they're looking for slow tempo) but there is one exception to this: If it's for a Wedding/First Dance, it must be slow tempo (again, unless the customer has specifically requested otherwise). Ideally you don't want to be above 100 BPM.
4 Things That MUST be included in the song:
1. Our nicknames. Hers is Goob. Mine is boomer.
2. All her cute funny voices.
3. Our zodiac signs.
4. How much I love how she looks at me
Their Personal Story:
“Been together over two years and she is big on zodiac signs. Hers is a Scorpio and mines an Aquarius.
She is big on emotion and sharing a connection emotionally. She loves animals especially dogs.
I just want her to know we are a team and I’m always gonna be here for her and I love all the little things she does.
Like talking in a funny voice to her dog and she does accents which are cute. She also loves her family a lot.
She vents a lot on Snapchat lol.”

Ez Keys is useless with it's current GUI on 4k monitor, Toontrack should stop trying to sell us pack and FIX the program

@@FasterMusicCreation Connecting a OLD 1080 as the 3th Monitor help me see what I`m doing a lot more. It Sucks to take space for just that Plugin but until Toontracks fix the GUI it will have to do. Thanks for the Video
