Hey, RocketGirl Lise! Those combs look AWESOME! Here in the States, RockinRon (one of the biggest distributors of harmonicas) creates semi-custom harps with Andrew Zajac combs. I have a complete set of Hohner Golden Melodies with the different comb colors to denote what key they are in. New combs can make all the difference in the world in playing. They look great and much better than stickers for identifying the key for us girls who like things to look pretty!! Question to you that I put up on Tomlin's forum. Do Rockets have the same mouth feel as special 20's? Easier to play, harder, airier etc. I'm thinking of getting one to try. I have found some of the others too big for my mouth. I'd agree, that the rockets are very comfortable. Similar in feel, if not better than sp20s.. However, the holes are larger on the rockets.. Larger than any other harp on the market I think.. definitely the biggest in the Hohner diatonic line. And this makes tounge blocking a bit more difficult. I love the rockets otherwise.. Just my two cents!
Very cool! Prob just camera angle or such; but are the holes and dividers stock size? The dividers look a tad wider, and holes a tiny touch more thin and tall?
They do look good. But how airtight and easy to bend are they. Overblow on hole 6 and the 3 distinct bends on hole 3. That 3 hole semitone bend should be easy.
Thanks. It’s a comb replacement so the reeds work exactly the same. I’m not an overblower but the bending is as good as ever. The sound is better overall as the material is better than the black plastic.

Hi. No same just that the square holes are slightly, slightly rounded. Not sharp squares.

They don’t have the slide feel they feel rough. Also sooo hard to clean.
