Hey, RocketGirl Lise: That was AWESOME! You have come such a long way and inspire everyone who views your videos. There is nothing more to say than--AWESOME! Cheers from California
nice! You play VERY clean; no unwanted partial chord bleed from holes either side. Bends are deep and Clear with a great, smooth vibrato throughout! Subbed on this one
Thanks. I think! I could do with loosening up a bit I guess but this is a teacher test so I do it as they do it and Tomlin gave it a pass. I need to chill more and dirty it up for sure. 🚀🌸👩🏻
Fantastic! I'll tell you what they taught me a long time ago. Dont rush the beat so much. Slow down and feel the groove. The more you practice, the better you will be able to get your timing perfect. Great job ❤
Thanks. This is very true. I’m told I can be ahead of the beat which I think you’re saying. Usually it’s because I’m not relaxed. I’m trying. I hear that slightly behind the beat is best, as you say. Thank you 🙏🏼
@rocketgirllise im playing alot of slow minor blues guitar on my channel. Its where I feel I can play my best but it took years to be able to feel that comfortable. You are off to an amazing start. 👏🏼
@@rocketgirllise Please don't miss another harmonica improvisation! Watch some improvisations on my UA-cam channel. I'm just planning another one soon.
Hey RG , that was very nice 👍👍😁. The long note in the middle.....was that a bit of throat vibrato ? Sounded sweet. Hope your well & have a good week 🏴👏👏😁👍👍🤗🤗🙏
Hi! Thankyou. Yes it was a 1-4 b split with a bit of vibrato or tremolo as I was pushing air out. My amp made it sound better. . I love vibrato and found it easy. warbles I find super difficult! All good. Hope you are too. Stay warm up there. 🚀👩🏻
❤Hey, R-Girl! I've met a harp lover named Martin D, who plans to attend the event in Brighton; ask him if he knows Steve from North Dakota USA!😊😊 It'd make a great story in the "harp" community! I've corresponded with Dov, and Christelle, and Will W, and others!! Best wishes!!❤
@@rocketgirllise I started playing April or may last year I’ve been buying different kinds crossovers Marine bands Seydel and I got a rocket low f last month and fell in love with the rocket it’s definitely my preferred harp
Hey Crushbandicoot! I started playing about a year ago and went crazy buying Seydels, which kept pulling my beard hairs out by the root. I have all the Rocket Amps and they are fantastic harps. If you really have a LOT of money to spend, then I would suggest the Yonbergs ($175US). They are awesome. Anyway, good luck and keep on harping! Cheers!
Well thanks Mr Troll. That’s good news. Trolls only make me sad for them so its good you refrained, but maybe this is a good time for you to think about swapping out trolling ( a bit of a passé thing now) and putting your efforts into something positive like harmonica. Go and buy a Hohner Special 20 in C , £30 tops, and use your online time seeking lessons from Tomlin and Liam Ward - free on you tube or join their school. You obviously will get loads out of it and feel brilliant! Harmonicas are great as you can carry them everywhere too. Go for it. Every day counts as life is so short. See you Mr Troll, either trolling me in a few months or posting a harmonica video. Thanks. 🚀👩🏻
Sounds incredible, I think my favourite of yours so far. What scale is it based around? Always confuses me a bit how blues scale can be major or minor. I've only done minor in 3rd position so far.
Hi. The blues scale I think as Tomlin is easing us into minor. We just mustn’t play the notes that minor doesn’t like I’m learning that - like 2 b or chords. I’ve not done 3rd position yet so you’re way ahead. Thanks for the lovely words. 🚀👩🏻
❤ "Her Snookeyness" R-Girl Presland! Fabulous! 😊😊
Love it!! Thanks! 😊
