Automatic CR-V clusters are pretty cheap and easy to find and you can take the plastic lense off and put some black electrical tape over the PRND21 and you can barely tell it there.
Probably turned the heater on before they filled it with water. If the elements are hot and you fill the tank it shatters the elements. You have to fill the tank before you turn the electrical on when it comes to electric water heaters.

Just get a s2000 oem dash there a digital dash and shit Honda is Honda but why not get a k tuned digital dash or a hall tech lol I got a fuel tech ft450 I’d sell you it’s a hud / instrument cluster and ecu all In one and you can just run it Parallel to your link so it displays rather than controls but it’d give you more I/o and shit and be a digital display but brand new in box with a harness never been opened
As a car painter i can say that yes bird shit burns paint as its acidic,regardless of what they eat.
100% I've two patches of laqcuer peal on my car due to leaving bird shit on it for just a few days (in the sun).
