I saw her on this tour and she was amazing. The various comments about her voice on here is so tiresome, why on earth people have to act like 5 year olds fighting over how she sounded is pathetic. Siouxsie's vocal style has put strain on her vocal chords over a hell of a time span plus smoking has not done her vocals any favours. If you look back over her career she had trouble with her voice as far back as 1982. So what I say, she has a unique voice and does not have to sound on top form all the time. She is an icon.
Exactly! People are extremely hard on her ;( it's a miracle she was even able to make as many albums as she did. Siouxsie really overworked her voice, even in 1982 doctors told her she would never be able to sing again. At one point she coughed up blood...Plus, she's basically been touring literally her whole life lol, her voice changing was bound to happen. It's sucks people still expect her to sound exactly the same, this happens to a lot of singers. I think siouxsie's only problem is that she hasn't adjusted the songs to her newer vocal style now. I would love more songs like the tempo of Love Crime.
+TokkaFan41 I agree w/ everything you wrote. I truly think it's just that Sioux's voice circa 1978-early 1995 (basically, The Scream thru to "New Skin") was so special, distinctive, and magically, supernaturally beautiful and bewitching, that it's very difficult to hear a grizzled, darker (if that's even possible), somewhat limited version coming from her. It's an adjustment some of the time for many, inc. me, and I absolutely adore her over the last 30 years . I think you'll/We'll get your/Our wish in 2017. But, her vocal performance in "Love Crime" was happily very reminiscent of her great vocal presentations of her earlier glory days...listen to songs like, "The Sweetest Chill", "Lullaby", "Obsession", "Desert Kisses" , and "Lunar Camel" and you hear the similitude...if her next album vocally ranges from "They Follow You", "If It Doesn't Kill You, "Who Will Take My Dreams Away?", "Careless Love", the 2013 live Meltdown version of Kaleidoscope, to "Love Crime", I think We will all be happy collective campers. Here's to hoping, alchemy, and witchcraft...
Exactly, her voice has deepened a bit.It will always be beautiful and endearing in my eyes though, even it our girl makes it to 90 on an oxygen machine.Plus, she's always such a babe.

Siouxsie really seems to be enjoying herself at this show. She must have been exhausted by this point in the tour. Yet she still radiates with energy. At the time I bet she never thought that 7 years later at the age of 58, she would be asked to write & record a song for the finale of an American TV show. One can only wonder what was going on in her mind at that moment. At the very least, she knows now that she still matters. Hopefully this will inspire her to record a new album in 2016.
Her voice is in no worse shape than Rob Halford's, and arguably better than Lemmy's was. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, under the circumstances. She's going stronger than many from the same era, even if you limit it to those who didn't die or burn out (which is almost all of them). That deserves respect. Yes, the tempo is down. True for almost all survivors. Iron Maiden hasn't slowed, but they're about the only ones. You can't expect everyone to keep the pace and it's no reflection on them. The ones who can are freaks of nature. This is a great concert. It's not a 1970s concert, but she has developed as an artist in that time too.
What she lacked in range here, she more than makes up in stage presence! My lord the way she moves! Bellissima!!!! One of the classics never to be duplicated!
if your still out there Testi know that for the joy Ms Sioux and the crew gave me over four decades of their productive lives I'd be more than happy(house ) to pay five times the price of admission just for her to come out on stage and cough
Simply breathtaking. I was lucky enough to see the band quite a few times in my bad youth, and she is the most amazing front woman ever to draw breath.
This concert was pure perfection. She sounds even better, awoke emotions in me like never before...!!! So much darker, deeper...just PuuuRfect. ..never stop Sioux, you've reached your climax! Bravo, babe...♡♡♡ I am a singer too and I address you as one....just tell me what's that ice cream, so I can handle my gig this long with my deep deep voice...:)))
Sometimes her voice isn’t on song for her, it happens to the best sometimes however, there is something so special about Siouxsie Sioux and it’s wonderful! Just started listening to her, so, so good. What the hell have I been doing all these years?!?
When you look at her she's could tell she's old her voice has gone down one or two notes but she still Siouxsie freaking Sue's and I still love everything about her and her music and if anybody says otherwise the only taste they got is in their mouth
LOVE the sequined and the liquid jet black caftans/cloaks! She needs to wear those again for the next tour, and in publicity/album/single pictures! And, the tutu needs to make a reappearance, too...w/ some black tights and black ballet shoes.
It was...unfortunately, the tour had taken a toll on her range, where as during the beginning of the tour, she had a much stronger voice/range on many of the songs on the set list. Recordings on UA-cam of the first few months are much better examples of her middle-aged vocals.
Sounds good, memories fail often, but it wouldn't matter to any music fan, most people think they are music fans but they are actually tabloid shit fans.
Sad. I don't care how big a fan you are. This is just sad to watch and hear. I guess it could have been worse. If she was like Glen Campbell, with dementia, forgetting the lyrics.
fullylush It's a shame but I can see why they called it a day! Obviously Budgie is still awesome & Severin OK but her voice is shot & I think it's Knox Chandler on guitar, well he's certainly no John McGeoch !
+Michael Lochbaum You're obviously too young to have seen The Banshees in their prime. It's a terrible sound here IMO. You teenagers should accept people have opinions without giving out retarded abuse.
+Michael Lochbaum You think her singing 'Happy House' here is OK? Awful. Her voice is bad & the guitar sounds terrible. Listen to Mc Geoch on the Rockplast gig, or Robert Smith on the Nocturne video then listen to this it's well below par. As I said, Budgie & Severin (even with his serious illness) can still kick ass but Sioux is sadly not up to singing Banshee classics. She should stick to being an icon & modelling Pam Hoggs great costumes.

welll she was already in 2009 not the youngest .... and the voice reflects it .. nothing all to wiered in my opinion
Exactly, her voice has deepened a bit.It will always be beautiful and endearing in my eyes though, even it our girl makes it to 90 on an oxygen machine.Plus, she's always such a babe.
I love her voice as she's gotten older, it has an eerie unearthly feel to it, suits her perfectly. Siouxsie we love you, please come back to us!!

She's absolutely one in a million .... amazing

I suspect "how old am I matters" was not running through her mind and why should it.
and which American tv show was it? ah, perhaps you mean Hannibal?
51 Years Old...Holy F@ck!!!
Music and voice still astonishing today ...

I would crawl through 100 meters of broken glass if she'd only just smile and wave at me from across the road.
You know what? Me, too.
Same
if your still out there Testi know that for the joy Ms Sioux and the crew gave me over four decades of their productive lives I'd be more than happy(house ) to pay five times the price of admission just for her to come out on stage and cough
…a fart would do.
I was at this gig 1st saw her in 1978.
Simply breathtaking. I was lucky enough to see the band quite a few times in my bad youth, and she is the most amazing front woman ever to draw breath.
and better than all the front men too
@@mattyopan HUUUMMMM i don't think that...Dave gahan by example..is just an amazing one..but her she is unique and the best for sure!!!!!
This concert was pure perfection. She sounds even better, awoke emotions in me like never before...!!! So much darker, deeper...just PuuuRfect. ..never stop Sioux, you've reached your climax! Always AWESOME!!!
Sometimes her voice isn’t on song for her, it happens to the best sometimes however, there is something so special about Siouxsie Sioux and it’s wonderful! Just started listening to her, so, so good. What the hell have I been doing all these years?!?
'It's not about you,darling.Just go away.Next song,don't wayt for him"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA
GREAT SIOUXSIE!!!!!!!!
I’m sure the heavy smoking really messed up her voice, however I enjoy the mature deeper range in her voice.
Forever an icon
"Icons -- feed the fires
Icons -- falling from the spires"
There's fckn nought wrong with her voice she rocks !!!!!😸😹😻
she matters hugely
I love you for ever.

Siouxsie Sioux, you probably get this every day but...I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you look at her she's could tell she's old her voice has gone down one or two notes but she still Siouxsie freaking Sue's and I still love everything about her and her music and if anybody says otherwise the only taste they got is in their mouth

She is fit!
Probably from all the exercise.
The last concert ever for Siouxsie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah Time goes by!!!!
Her after ice cream outfit makes me see her as a Valkyrie from KISS
Fuck!!! Thank for posting this
Siouxsie Sioux the best !
Into a swan is fantastic 😁
She really have problem with voice, problems start 1982.....and come back on album The Repture....But she still amazing.
THe MARLENE DIETRICH of PUNK!!!!!!
For me she is the better.
THE MACAROONS RUN AROUND AROUND DEAR PRUDENCE HEEHEE!
26:2 Sexiest,most talented dandelion ever.
The idea better then the project , but it's Siouxsie so enjoy ! 😎.
These cabaret versions of Banshees' songs just don't work for me. The solo songs are good though.
SEXY
I would not have released this, her voice is a pale comparison to what I recall. Must have been at the end of a very long tour?
It was...unfortunately, the tour had taken a toll on her range, where as during the beginning of the tour, she had a much stronger voice/range on many of the songs on the set list. Recordings on UA-cam of the first few months are much better examples of her middle-aged vocals.
Mike Gordon sounds fuxking awesome to me
It's called "Finale".
Sounds good, memories fail often, but it wouldn't matter to any music fan, most people think they are music fans but they are actually tabloid shit fans.
the video needs a re upload with a sharper picture !!! this is gross ....
You know that smelly old person smell...? Siouxsie most definitely does not have that smell
Love Sioux..but really? It aint the Banshees..just a bunch of session musos..ans Sioux's voice..could be better :)
HKG how awful, sums up this gig
Sad. I don't care how big a fan you are. This is just sad to watch and hear. I guess it could have been worse. If she was like Glen Campbell, with dementia, forgetting the lyrics.
Awful especially that guitar player.
stevobath your right, she has smoked to much, was really bad.
fullylush It's a shame but I can see why they called it a day! Obviously Budgie is still awesome & Severin OK but her voice is shot & I think it's Knox Chandler on guitar, well he's certainly no John McGeoch !

+Largactyl Kid This isn't a Banshees concert.
