This song is such a beautiful masterpiece. It has all of the elements of a classic Banshee song - haunting melody, ethereal strings, pounding drums, and thought provoking lyrics. What a beautiful performance by one amazing woman. How dare anyone mentions she should retire! Siouxsie still has the energy, creativity, and voice to keep going.
The beautiful Siouxsie and Budgie on drums... She was/is the most creative female songwriter of the 20th/21st Century... Wouldn't it be great if a New Album were to follow! Obviously the dynamism of youth and middle age is somewhat missing and her vocals may not be as deep and resonant as they were but she has such a legacy of unparralled vocals, songwriting and acclaimed music few can match.. A genius and creativity of modernist Cannon. Thank you Siouxsie and crew... A numinous soliliquery of transcendence X
I hate the negative comments who always feel the need to comment on aging artists’ singing abilities. Siouxsie sounds pretty darn good here considering her age and vocal abuse throughout the decades. Sure, she doesn’t sound the exact same, but why should she retire? Plenty of real fans want to still experience her in person. That being said, I’m so excited to see her live at Cruel World 2023!!!!

Siouxsie and the Banshees is a post punk band, using orchestral instruments doesn't match with their style, and without Steven Severin the charm decrease, and Budgie's drumming is monotorious, also Siouxsie 's voice is much louder than the music this show shows that the Banshees's band sound is already gone, the musicians merely become Siouxsie's backing band
It’d suck as a vocalist to get criticised as you age because you put so much into your singing for others that you’ve damaged your vocal chords from it . You wouldn’t do that singing for yourself
