Every single time I hear Siouxsie and the music she shares with her life band mate.,I simply have to begin moving my body to the drumbeat and music..compelled to breathe and to move..and though I be a 54 year old punk..Siouxsie still resonates in me by will of presence and her razorblade hauntingly beautiful voice..oh my I love these guys💘..till the suns no longer shine and the stars wink from existence..as long as their music and her voice remains to echo across the unlit black..I will forever be dancing in dark spaces and warming places of a universe disappeared from sight😏💙💜💙💜💙💙💜💙💜💙💜💙💜💙💜💙💜💙(/-\)..they are poetry in human form...
This was before the South Bank Centre was upgraded, and the acoustics could be a bit weird. I remember sitting near the back of the audience, and the back wall was resonating loudly. I'd not noticed it as much with previous gigs there, so I wonder if it was deliberate.
because siouxsie got tagged with queen of the goths which I believe she hated a lot of people dismissed the banshees without giving their work a proper listen . Yes there are some great post punk pop singles they did but Al's so much of their work was very experimental and very influential to this day . The media talk of kylie, madonna and various other female artists like they are so good but none of them would have a career if it wasnt for Siouxsie and also the Slits too .
Yep agree. The interest should be in the movement within the frame, not the movement from camera to camera. All too often this happens in this era. Ah well.
