- IBCX 7225 leads the Youngtown & Southeastern train north from the waste transfer site at Signal Ohio on a beautiful fall day (10-18-22 ). I chased the train north to Columbiana where the cross under Norfolk Southern tracks and run through town on some rough rail.

Probably the prettiest video of garbage disposal you'll ever see!
this has gotta be one of the coolest shortlines ever
This is absolutely one of the most hypnotic videos I have ever seen. Do the crews on this operation know this is out there. I know a couple of them. I'm sure they would appreciate seeing it.
You are "the king of shortlines"; outstanding!
Beautiful fall colors and love short line rail lines and high hood E M D love seeing 222 helping or being towed behind lead unit
(3:50 & 7:30) unbelievable how this train can make any time weaving down the tracks without falling off, but your stunning long-diistant camera work has captured it perfectly!
You have a knack for composition that mesmerizes viewers, and makes us feel like we're 'right there'.
Thanks Scott, excellent work as always.
I ran hundreds of trains on this line back when the Ohio Central operated the line. Nice to see all those ties laying along the right-of-way. That’s a good sign for the future of the line. Someone is spending some money here.
Wow... That is beautiful scenery! Also amazing camera work you done.
Breathtaking view on the opening shot. I hope they plan on fixing those rails. Man, they are in bad shape. I would be very nervous if I had to ride over those rails. Whew!!😲
Just great shots and captures with this one here bro. And some great reference stuff too for modelers...
Que hermoso tren de ROJO de 2023
Hi Scott, an amazing scene as this train travels through the autumn countryside. Filmed great. Thanks for showing and greetings from Germany
Great photography! Look up Bruce Brown; he did your type of photography, great narration, and catchy music.
Nice spot to film.
AWESOME video but those rails need some attention 😂
Great catch...
The opening shot is just breathtaking!😮
Nice video Scott
Excellent video start to finish and that opening scene is the coolest clip I have seen on youtube this year, just OUTSTANDING!!! -Ken
Great video Scott! The view of those rails at 6:50 wow!! And the Bay Line gondola all the way up there.
Great video! Keep it up and make sure your kids will learn with you! Greetings from Brazil!
Outstanding autumn beauty. Matty, would you ever consider buying a mirrorless fixed lens camera with all the modern tech and specs, or continue to use a traditional camcorder? What are you using here?
Nice Scott!!!
You could chase that train on foot! 🚶♂️ Looks like some track renewal work was planned though
This is fantastic.
Outstanding!
I noticed how rough that rail is but all the new ties suggest help is on the way.
How does this train not derail??😱😱
Are these GP 9??
What's up with the tanker and covered hopper? Are there other customers on this line?
The covered Hoppers are currently being stored for CSX until they get cleaned and CSX takes them away L324 drops off and picks them up daily in Lowellville
why do all these shortlines have absolutley the worst tracks possible?
Love it! But how does a locomotive stay on the tracks when it's wobbling around so much?
That's why he's crawling and probably saying a silent prayer, too.
Running a locomotive with cab following long hood makes no sense. Poor visibility for starters, and control station is set up for travel short hood forward. With the roadbed so messed up it’s a wonder the train stays upright, with significant tilting seen in places.

I didn't expect that the hegemonic superpower would have such a backward infrastructure. There are more than 3000 accidents every year, and people's lives are in vain. What about human rights?
