- We caught W&LE eastbound near Greenwich on the Carey sub with a loaded ston train. At Greenwich they got on CSX where they could really wind up the speed. We couldn't beat them to New London but got them at the east end of Hiles when back on the Carey Sub. At Spencer the crossed the diamond and 6353 tied on the rear to shove them to Medina. At Medina the roll by the W&LE caboose which was in town because of track work that was being done. I thought I heard they would stop west of the trestle to cut off the helpers which is why I didn't make it over to Styx in time. The 6353 cut off east of the trestle. I caught them once more at Copley where they took part of the train into town to deliver to the aggregate dealer.

Holy Crap! ALL those locos are clean!!! As a lifelong SP fan I can't remember the last time a I saw clean engine. Nice to know somebody takes care of their equipment. Nice catch Scott.
I'm from Kent Ohio where WLE and ABC have two lines. One to Solon Ohio and other to Ravenna. I've seen most of these engines over the years. Also at Rook Yard, as I lived a few years in Pittsburgh.
It makes me smile knowing a Railroad is doing well!
Fantastic video🎥👍👍👍👍🍀🍀
Awesome video, Scott. James.
Awesome video. Reminds me of the Rio Grande.
Excelente my friends.
Hats off to the track maintenance crew !
MAN those are good-looking locos.
I miss watching the W&LE when living in Ohio. Great video with the helpers. Plus I'm a big SD-40-2 fan love seeing them.
Some tasty freight moves. Love the black and orange livery on those locos! 🚂👍
excellent video, thanks for all the hard work ..........great shots from above........i love SD-40'S
Awesome video of WLE my favorite railroad !! 😀😇👌👍
You are blessed with some beautiful Skies and just to see the helpers is a treat enough. I never get tired of that diamond I think it's just the various angles on good ballast you see the whole thing. Toss in the depot and caboose and that was a great Chase!
Boy we were working on my buddy's 7.5 gage railroad in Sharon Center Sunday And the wheeling had a gravel train comes through, and you could hear it for pretty long distance away
Excellent video!

The SD40-2s are in the 7000 series, which means they’ve been equipped with Positive Train Control.
