Friendly reminder at 8:38 to stay to the left when rolling up to intersection Tons of oil drips on middle of road and don’t want to get sandwiched if driver is not paying attention behind you. Great video. Ride safe.
My comment is gonna be a bit long, apologies for that, but I wanted to share a bit about my experience for anyone who's new to e-moto's / motorcycling... Firstly wanted to say I really liked this video, very relaxed style, good minimal editing and great narration. In October of 2022 my curiosity of seeing ebikes got the better of me and I bought my first one. I was 35 at the time and hadn't ridden a bicycle of any kind for over 20 years, but instantly picked it up again. After six months with my first one (the brand CS was so bad I ditched it) I picked up an Aventon Level.2 and from May 1st 2023 to today (November 2024) no joke I put 4,000 miles on it. I ride it everywhere and use it for work and back.... It got me thinking of getting a motorcycle, particularly an electric one. Two major problems with that though... I had never ridden a motorcycle nor did I have a license... So I kept thinking, "do I REALLY take this plunge into a new world?" but decided to throw caution to the wind and do it. Signed up for a motorcycle weekend course, passed with no issue, got my license and then began searching for a bike. The one that seemed (and still seems) absolutely perfect for me is the Livewire S2 Del Mar. Even though I currently own a Ryvid Anthem now, I still think the build quality and power on the Del Mar is superior, there's just no question about that. I love the style, look and everything....everything EXCEPT that damn price tag. Dealers tend to add thousands of dollars more so you're looking at almost $20,000 out the door for a Del Mar. I simply couldn't afford that no matter what, and I was doing anything I could to not owe money to a dealer. Looked back again at the Ryvid Anthem and after thinking about so many things regarding using it, charging it, storing it, storage on the bike, range... I decided, "well, everyone starts somewhere" and bought it... The process was just as easy as buying a MacBook from Apple online. It was actually the SECOND to last day they had their deal going on to get the ASI upgrade for free, naturally I chose that. Bike arrived about 5 weeks later and yes, no photo or video does it justice of how beautiful it is in person. For the price I paid, (just over $7,300 out the door) it is crazy well built, like I'm still impressed a week later... Got insurance, got it tagged and now it's all legal. I've only ridden it "for real" once right now because I'm still very new to motorcycling and I need to built up my confidence level by riding in the mornings and easing myself into more and more traffic... But that one ride I was seriously SHOCKED how well it handled... Not having a clutch or gears is a god send. I didn't do bad at the course with them, but obviously there is more of a learning curve. As I type this comment it is Thursday November 21, 2024. Next week is Thanksgiving week in the US and my company always takes the full week off. I'm going to use that week to build up confidence (and fully do the things Ryvid requests like calibrate the battery cycles and what not) before I start using it as my daily commuter. For someone like me the Anthem is perfect. I'm a single guy with no kids and live alone. I live close to my job, close to where I get supplies from, so I seemed like the ideal rider on paper.... BUT I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about range, which is probably why Ryvid made the battery so easily removable and simple. That makes me feel a bit better, but as of this comment since the battery software isn't calibrated fully yet, I don't know how much range I'll actually get... If I can safely get 50 miles in eco mode maintaining at least 50mph (I never plan to go on the highway) I'll be satisfied because then I can just grab a charge anywhere (yeah I bought the J plug adapter). Sorry for the super long comment, but that's my story.
Yo, I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s crazy to me how long this all is taking. But I love to see people DIY or even something like Ryvid is doing that’s crushing it. 💯🍻 Many thanks for watching !!!
Which bike do you like better from a comfort/riding standpoint? The anthem or the outset? I’m considering the outside because it’s more of an upright rider position.
That’s a good question… I have rode both and they both have their benefits… I should have an Anthem soon to be able to compare to the Outset. I will keep ya posted. I like the rider position of the outset but I do love the ability to adjust the seat height of the Anthem. I appreciate you watching and I’ll be making more content on the Ryvid bikes very soon 🙏🏼💯⚡️
You know the Super73 is going to be Super…. Expensive. I know my local ebike dealer owner and he’s trying to sell me an E Ride Pro. lol I’m glad we have a local shop now that sells various e-bikes including Super73 now. Ordering online years ago from California when I was several hours away was a little worrisome. I might go for the electric dirt bike eventually… I’ll say my S2 is a lot more fun after losing a lot of weight.
Thanks for watching brother. Yeah I started with super73 S2 like 4 years ago now and now after riding so many different bikes the electric dirt bikes are so much fun! This Ryvid Outset is on a whole different level tho haha this thing is a beast 🤘🏼💯⚡️
Awesome! Excited as a new motorcycle rider to get my first motorcycle, the 2024 Ryvid Outset at age 55 (lol). I drive a Tesla MS Plaid and my wife has a Rivian R1S, so fully electric is the way to go and not ever going back to ice.
Yooo, thats awesome! My mom has a Model S and Im getting a Rivian R1T very soon, going to give my wife my Model Y. hahaha so yes! Fully Electric for us too! Also congrats on pulling the trigger on the Outset! This bike is incredible! 🍻
@@ShawverFilms Electrification is the only reason why I’m starting the motorcycle thing a little more than half way through my life, and the research pointed me to Ryvid as likely my best “first bike” option. I like what they’re doing at the price point they’re at as compared with the others in the space. Passed my 5-hour online MSF course test and doing the 2-day MSF training at the end of this month, hoping for my Ryvid Outset delivery soon after in Sept, 2024. 🙏🏻👍🏻😎
@@sflgator6096I did the 2 day MSF course locally here in south Orange County. It was actually fun. Haha. You should have a great time and I was talking to the teacher and they think, at least for here that there will be electric motorcycles for people to ride in the class soon. That would be awesome if you plan on only riding electric. 🤘🏼
What a garbage bike . Low miles . Slow charging . Little bike . I can’t wait for something better and bigger . Don’t waste your money until you try it out on a highway which won’t ever happen because you’ll end up buying it with no chance to return 😂
@@ShawverFilms I asked they said they don’t have the option to return so that’s why test the bike out before purchasing especially ride that bike on the highway or long miles . So you can really get the feel of the bike but that’s never going to happen because they tease you and make you think it’s the best thing to buy . No problem I just wish they were more honest .

Thanks for the vid! Was this with the ASI upgrade or without it?
Yes, this has the ASI controller.
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼🍻
Nice transition.
🔥 Siiick! 🔥
Thanks bro! This thing is a beast 🤘🏼
It's kind of cool and kind of sad because of my physical size and a 100lb ebike I can trigger the street light pressure sensors.
Very nice E moto.

Did you have a issue with their customer service trying to return a bike? If so I'm sorry for your experience!
@ShawverFilms , nah this guy never bought a bike, he's just been hating since forever. Ryvid is pretty fair with all of their customers.
