- The Ryvid Anthem is one of the absolute coolest looking Electric Motorcycles on the market, featuring 72v and 14kw of Peak Power output, 75MPH+ Top Speed and a super unique adjustable height seat. On top of all that it comes with high end Pirelli Diablo Rosso Tires.
Electric Motorcycles are amazing in many ways, but one thing that holds a lot of people back is range anxiety. Join John (Hammy Moto) for a nice Sunday Ride on the Ryvid Anthem to see how it holds up during his coffee run in Southern California.

2 fingers down is a salute. Means keep rubber on road.
It's weird, a motorcycle's natural state is on its side in a puddle of oil. These electrics are fixing the oil part at least. 😂
I ordered mine last week and can’t wait. Got it to commute to work and back, plus with my solar system it’s going to be practically free to get to work and back.
Awesome! Enjoy your new ride.
That's my reason to look for one
Nice review! Love that bike. Very cool
Best e-motorcycle Ive seen yet. Keep up the good work man!
Thanks 👍
I'm getting mine today! Just waiting on arrival
Awesome!
Good review
Glad you enjoyed it
The worst part of this video is that there's no part 2😢
Great video and nice bike. Interestingly I feel like the host sounds like an Aussie who has lived in USA for a while now and picked up a bit of their accent . Sorry random thought lol
Thanks very much!
I've been getting about 60 miles of range on mine in mostly Eco mode of city driving and I live at the top of a very big hill.
How much do you weigh
The thing about EVs vs PEVs is that PEVs like e-bikes, e-scooters, e-ucs, and e-boards can utilize the electricity to give the rider more freedom of travel so they are not restricted to roads. However, when you make an electric motorcycle they don't have the benefit and are subject to the same traffic and restrictions like any other vehicle. It's might be less maintenance but its more of a hassle especially since they don't have the range capability or the power of a traditional combustion motorcycle and you still have to deal with cops and tickets. That's why I stick to gas motorcycles and ride ebikes when i want to care about the environment 😂
I feel the same hahah. I absolutely love my ICE motorcycle for the performance and ability to go on long rides, and my e-scooter for my commuting since I use a combination of roads and cycling lanes. Insanely cheap and practical.
An iced bananas foster late!!!!!!! OMG That sounds delicious!’
🤣
good ol' range anxiety.
👀
I agree with you on the end of the video.. i can get a Kawasaki with that price plus 2 min on fueling compared to charging..... I see this as a win in you have this to go to work and school and they are like 3 cities over then i can see myself on this lol 😂😆
Thanks for watching! Stay Safe.
Do you still have this bike? I'm local to you and would love to check it out.
No just taken for the test!
Do you have the ASI controller or the stock one?

😆
As much as I love EVs, I think I’ll stick to my Harley Davidson Night Train for a while. I wouldn’t be able to deal with that little of range.
Thanks for stopping by!
@@RiderGuide I think EVs will get a ton better and very soon. The addition of a transmission is going to change things big time. It will have a huge impact on range.
Is this guy Australian?
Close! He’s British
Unlikely, as an Aussie would have trouble saying miles per hour because they're used to proper units of measurement as in the metric system. 😂😅
Good thing it isn't Mitchy Mitch reviewing it!
Can't trust that guy crashing his scooters around!
I like the bike but unfortunately it's only an around town bike. Many will pass this one up because traditional motorcycles you don't worry about range. Also, the battery brand new will change years to come and only be half the range it is today. Think new smartphone batteries. Amazing at first but 4 years later, as we know, its trash and might get half the range long term. Better options out there and range anxiety sucks
Totally agree. You're pretty limmited at the moment with what you can do an where you can go with it.
Thanks for the feedback!
One of the things they did with the anthem though was the ability to have the battery be removable so in theory you could change it out in the future if a longer range version became available.
