I have one thats an homage to two separate genta pieces the nautilus and Royal Oak simultaneously, its a Forsining GMT1211-3 its a bit thicker, but overall has a kind of cybertruck vibe in the case also its got a bracelet with a patek pattern linkage but in an ap taper, chunky ~13mm but i love the look, it wears its size well, some of the bracelet links leave some quality to be desired, but thats where the big money comes in isn't it? Certainly you're getting your watch per dollar met on this end and thats why i like watch collecting as a fun little hobby, like funko pop or pokemon cards, or something kind of kitchy like that, where as the big boys is more like collecting meuseum pieces, supercars, etc. There's levels to the watch game beware however when you get to a pocket dimension straight knockoffs youre in straight up watch hell, be aware of dopplegangers that slip from this dimension into the realms of real high end watches, a guy that pays 30k for that, a fake rolex, or even a few hundo is being fleeced whether they admit it or not. Homages that bear a different brand and perhaps some few obvious differences is respectible, its not pretending to be something else, its just borrowing some swag, thats fine, same for debrands, if you get something that looks an awful lot like a submariner, but not a logo in sight, well it's not pretending to be a rolex thats for certain. Im okay with "close but not really" its acceptable, after all design is language and theres nothing wrong with borrowing parlance from another brand, but a watch that is a lie forged in hopefully stainless steel (and not brass) is unacceptable, lies are unacceptable, its the difference between talking like someone else, and pretending to actually be them. I purchased 5711 Nautilus about six months ago, I owe few originals (GMT, Aquanaut 5167), I must admit, after getting this rep I don't see the point of buying genuine anymore. This watch is so identical that it would be impossible to spot unless you are very experienced and even then it won't be an easy task. The rep in this video is really low quality.

The top of the line replica nowadays won't cost more than RMB4200(USD700-800). They'd fixed most of the problem. The only thing they still need improvement is the movement. The window shows the movement so u can tell right away. While I don't recommend people to buy fake watch, in reality not everyone can afford a Patak Philip. If they can get the same look with only a few hundred dollars they'll still go for it.

Yo NO WAY is that a $30K replica watch. Someone lied to you, badly.. that’s a $30 rep, actually realistically more like a $60-70 one. I know cuz I’m quite familiar with that rotor sound it made when you swung it around it sounded exactly like the old 2813 movement I’ve had in many crap level watches. It’s a cheap movement, cheapest automatic available, one can be yours for a whopping $10, AliExpress special. You confirmed it by winding it and that loud grind brought back many memories. It’s surely not a Seiko NH series movement those aren’t as audible, you can say they’re silent compared to the China made/designed competition, but they are a bit more costlier, you’d find them more common in watches starting about $80+. Non working chronos? You’re serious, one can have working chronos with a V63 or V65 quartz movement, it’ll cost a bit more like $80+ but of course it’s battery operated. To have a working chrono automatic you’d need to have at least a 7750, China made/designed of course but much better than the 2813. The 7750 is in watches starting about $350. They do have clone 4130 which is the best you can get in the world of chrono autos, but these are in watches in the $600-700+ range. You can get one of these, swap in a genuine Nautilus dial, hands and maybe date wheel, and glass which set you back a good $6-7K altogether, that’d be a pretty convincing rep, that a PP vet watchmaker would require taking off the back for closer inspection. Let’s not forget the list/retail price of a Nautilus from PP AD is about $30K. So have this crappy of a rep with this many shortcomings I’d bet my life this didn’t cost over one hundred dollars… if it did, whoever bought is the biggest fool in the world and should probably get out of the game forever. Sorry to break it to ya. Just look at the other Nautilus comparison vids, peeps comparing real vs a $600+ one that’s way more convincing than this crapper. Thats an instant tell already no way $30K.. this is a joke right?

Modern clone/replicas are indistinguishable from the real thing unless you have a legit one to compare side by side. Even then it usually requires at least a 10x zoom to see the differences. There are about 3-5 levels of clones depending on the seller. Level 1 and 2 are junk and have no finishing but at a glance look real. Level 3 and 4 are finished nicely, have decent ETA movements and for all intents and purposes appear genuine. Level 5 have COSC certified movements much more detail on finishing (often done by hand) and a dealer would not be able to tell the difference UNLESS he had a legit piece side by side with a 10x magnification. This makes me question the entire industry. A level 5 clone only costs about $1700. So it begs the question what exactly are we paying for? There was a time it was for the skills of the watch maker, there was a time it was for the movement, there was a time it was for the quality materials. Not so much anymore. Once you reach the point in time when dealers are mistakenly buying used replicas then you know the industry is kinda scammy.

Yo NO WAY is that a $30K replica watch. Someone lied to you, badly.. that’s a $30 rep, actually realistically more like a $60-70 one. I know cuz I’m quite familiar with that rotor sound it made when you swung it around it sounded exactly like the old 2813 movement I’ve had in many crap level watches. It’s a cheap movement, cheapest automatic available, one can be yours for a whopping $10, AliExpress special. You confirmed it by winding it and that loud grind brought back many memories. It’s surely not a Seiko NH series movement those aren’t as audible, you can say they’re silent compared to the China made/designed competition, but they are a bit more costlier, you’d find them more common in watches starting about $80+. Non working chronos? You’re serious, one can have working chronos with a V63 or V65 quartz movement, it’ll cost a bit more like $80+ but of course it’s battery operated. To have a working chrono automatic you’d need to have at least a 7750, China made/designed of course but much better than the 2813. The 7750 is in watches starting about $350. They do have clone 4130 which is the best you can get in the world of chrono autos, but these are in watches in the $600-700+ range. You can get one of these, swap in a genuine Nautilus dial, hands and maybe date wheel, and glass which set you back a good $6-7K altogether, that’d be a pretty convincing rep, that a PP vet watchmaker would require taking off the back for closer inspection. Let’s not forget the list/retail price of a Nautilus from PP AD is about $30K. So have this crappy of a rep with this many shortcomings I’d bet my life this didn’t cost over one hundred dollars… if it did, whoever bought is the biggest fool in the world and should probably get out of the game forever. Sorry to break it to ya. Just look at the other Nautilus comparison vids, peeps comparing real vs a $600+ one that’s way more convincing than this crapper. Thats an instant tell already no way $30K.. this is a joke right?

Funny how the gold analyzer shot is edited and cut. My guess, is this video is as fake as the watch, and that's no 18K fake, but gold painted/plated inline with the rest of the watch. Who would waste thousands on gold and not bother to pay a couple hundred for a chrono so the watch at least worked? Makes no sense. Clickbait and editing makes more sense.

Could be wrong but it looks like the chunky fake watch is on the left for the first test, then on the right after edits/cut. Also, why test the bracelet and not the watch itself. Modern clone/replicas are indistinguishable from the real thing unless you have a legit one to compare side by side. Even then it usually requires at least a 10x zoom to see the differences. There are about 3-5 levels of clones depending on the seller. Level 1 and 2 are junk and have no finishing but at a glance look real. Level 3 and 4 are finished nicely, have decent ETA movements and for all intents and purposes appear genuine. Level 5 have COSC certified movements much more detail on finishing (often done by hand) and a dealer would not be able to tell the difference UNLESS he had a legit piece side by side with a 10x magnification. This makes me question the entire industry. A level 5 clone only costs about $1700. So it begs the question what exactly are we paying for? There was a time it was for the skills of the watch maker, there was a time it was for the movement, there was a time it was for the quality materials. Not so much anymore. Once you reach the point in time when dealers are mistakenly buying used replicas then you know the industry is kinda scammy.
