I remember in the mid 80's when as a teenager I couldn't afford $25 to buy a nm copy of Hulk 181. 😱 And I sure as hell wasn't going to pay $40 for a brand new book that just came out two months ago, TMNT #1. 🤣

I remember buying Hulk 181 from K&B Drugs, in the mid 70's. It was a different time. Comic books were sold everywhere. - New, and second hand. I've been tearing up comics since 1963. - Started reading 'em in '66.

LOL! I passed up a TMNT #1 from my LCS back in the day, myself! My dad still teases me about it every couple of years when a new max sales price for the book is on the news or if there is a TMNT movie/ tv show/ etc 😅

I wish my shop back in the 1980$ had Wolverine 181 for $.25. That is a hell of a deal even for back then😮😮😮

That collector really sought out some cool magazine keys. Can't wait to see the rest.

With 6 short boxes of slabs left to go, I can definitely see you paying that. From the looks of just the slabbed magazines and raw books, it feels like an amazing silver, bronze, and modern age collection.

Nick Carter was a dime novel with a crime/detective bent. It was published by street and Smith from 1896 to 1912

I have been buying those Warren Vampirella books from my LCS, most of them are in VF/NM condition. Covers are mostly done by Enrich and Sunjian. Beautiful interior artwork from Jose Gonzales and Gonzola Mayo.

While KISS and Stan Lee did indeed do a big press thing where the band members had blood drawn and dumped into the red ink vat at the printers (known in KISS fandom as THE SIGHT OF BLOOD!) Due to some oversight, that particular red ink vat actually ended up in an issue of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED!! Yes...I'm a massive KISSTARD lol...I can't help it... when I get a chance to drop a little random KISS tidbit to a section of people who may be unaware,I'm compelled to do so.
GREAT magazines, I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the books!

Just heads up from someone who just started watching your videos it would be nice to have a direct like to your ebay in the description(or even the store name). Wanted to check out some the listings earlier today but didn't have too much time and when I scanned for a quick link to your store there wasn't one so I waited until I got home to google it. Not sure if there is something in youtube's rules against it but think it would help for us new/casual viewers to get there quickly when you have items in the video that are listed there.

That's weird. I have a link in the description. Maybe it's wrong or doesn't work. I'll fix it.

If you don't slab that ASM #50 or if it comes back from CGC in time and you have it at Terrificon, I will buy it!!!! A 4.0 or 4.5 is right in my purchasing wheelhouse. 👍👍👍

So how much did it probably cost to get these books you’re showing slabbed! Can you loose money by slabbing and selling low?
