They send it out first, then switch in, to help split EXP. Makes the the run arguably harder because of the loss of a turn, but might be an option you could look into if you wanted to prevent over leveling in future runs! Either way, loved the run!! He might not have, both of those columns were virtually the same color. So even if he did, can’t really blame him for a stupid design choice by whoever made the graph. They did it with two other types also lol
Favorite fire type is a pretty tough choice, I will always love Charizard since that was my first Pokémon ever due to me playing since generation 1 (like many others). But I think I have to go with Volcorona overall, followed closely by Magcargo, Volcanion, Darmanitan and Turtonator

It’s always one of my deciding factors when I choose a version of the games because I always catch and evolve one. In the past I would use one even if I was also using the fire starter.

Slugma is found in the same spot as torkal and vulpix isn't in the game i think
Vulpix can be found on mt. Pyre or mirage spots. I used one in my first omega ruby playthrough.
