The full scene is both sides walk up, argue back and forth 3 times, bella uses her shield to protect them from Alec and Jane then they realize they have no power and leave.
Fun fact. The author Stephanie Meyer started writing a series from Edwards perspective (The Twilight series is Bellas story) but she ditched it after the first part was leaked.

I watched the twilight series for the first time about 2 years ago with my brother and we were laughing so hard throughout New Moon. Bella was a terrible person throughout the whole movie and the fact that a good chunk of the movie is Bella building a bike with Jacob only to decide to ride it as soon as it's done with no lessons or any idea how to ride one, immediately crashes it because she forgets what a break is, and then swear off motorcycles forever was hilarious. Lea didn't just get dumped, Sam (her ex) imprinted on her cousin (who's face he sliced up when she said she wouldn't date him). After the breakup Lea started turning into a werewolf but her family thought it was just mood swings. The transformation made her infertile for some reason. Also the old man in the woods who Veronica killed by grabbing by the shirt in new moon, that was Lea's father, who in the book had a heart attack when she transformed for the first time. The author really hated Lea for some reason.

Reading the books first makes this so frustrating bc the movies do such a bad job at showing the timeline. Charlie said it was like the next day that she was pregnant, but in reality it was like a month later. Same thing with the first movie where he said he felt like things were moving really fast, in reality it was taking place over like 3 months, not 2 weeks. They did such a bad job at showing the time passing bc a lot of it is just said in the book. It doesn't show 2 weeks going by day by day, it shows one significant day and then 5 goes by or something like that.
I remember when I was 13 back in 2011, my Mum, Dad, Sister, Brother and I went to the cinema to see twilight breaking dawn part 1, but there was only 3 seats left available and my Brother and I were forced to watch Arthur Christmas instead. During the movie we had to stand up over a dozen times because of a big family that kept coming and going. My fiance showed me the series last summer and I was so sad. If someone's idea of romance was passive aggressive, forceful domination without compassion or tension.

When everything's said and done, the Twilight series will still have more of a place in pop culture than the last seasons of Game of Thrones.
I think stuff like GoT's final season, The Walking Dead outstaying its welcome, Star Wars having releasing an even worse trilogy than the prequels and games like Cyberpunk launching completely busted have actually helped breed more cynicism where it probably belongs, honestly. So in a way I disagree with your statement, as we might feel the impact of fanatic fanbases being disappointed for years to come.
@@Joe90h yes but I FELT the moment when GOT became irrelevant. It was like a switch and then nobody talked about it except in rare passing.

@@isimbulamadmqwe9972 The game was a complete mess at launch and CDPR went out of the way to crush footage getting out there early on that would impact their sales. And then they tried to throw their QA department under the bus, despite huge bugs being constantly reported.
I know a lot of people go to bat for it now, but the reputation damage has stuck and definitely deservedly so. What they put out was a joke, and how they tried to control the narrative was scummy.
Twilight came out when I was a 13-year-old girl, I wasn’t into romance but when I saw the twilight movies I was in awe of the artistic graphics and the large wolves. The way things were filmed too. Just all the special effects. At the time 13 year old me was amazed
As someone that was forced to read the books, they’re just as bad and ends so boring, the fight doesn’t happen and no one dies so when it started in the movies we were shocked, girls were losing it, the girl I was with was crying.. it insane. Every time someone died someone lost it, and than the end… still one of the funniest movie experiences ever. I still remember it so visibly after 10 years 😂
LMFAO my mother forced me to read the books and i just skipped to the last one cuz i didnt care enough to suffer through the first 2 books💀 and my mom forced me to watch the movie in theaters the day it was released. “NESSEE! YOU NICKNAMED MY DAUGHTER AFTER THE LOCK NESS MONSTER!!!”
This series is a masterpiece
Watch YMS "Adam and Pals Twilight" the whole series, the commentary is great.
lmao the fact that THAT is what bella decides to go batshit crazy over. not, like, the fact that her best friend imprinted on her NEWBORN INFANT DAUGHTER 😂
@@kartoffelhexeNo she freaks out about that first
My favourite part was when Jacob ripped his 7th shirt that movie and said “ it’s twilight’n time” and wolfed all over the place
Charlie really downplays how unbelievably fun and silly this last fight was. It is the best.
In the books it is even worse, they don't even have the fake fight, they all just line up to fight then the bad guys get told it's ok and so they all just go home.
Exactly. I was so disappointed of the books, not even a real fight scene?!! I know women in general are not that interested in that, but cmooon Stephenie Meyer!!! There HAS to be a fight scene after all this build up!!! But nahh, I guess that was too exhausting to write or something. 🙄
I found the movie at least found an interesting and creative way here to inject a little bit of excitement and coolness into it.
Yeah, it truly is the best creative decision the movie team could’ve made with it.

The Twilight Saga will always be the wildest franchise. Truly a phenomenon that keeps on giving. Especially with the fact the Stephanie has added onto her own series with not only the genderbent version of her own books but the ENTIRE SERIES from Edwards point of view. Never ceases to amaze.

As someone who grew up reading those books and being a part of that fandom since the first movie came out (Seriously, I spent an entire $50 Target gift card on the boxed set), the Twilight renaissance that is happening currently is mostly just those same teenage fans, who are now in our twenties, critiquing and laughing the same way Charlie did about this franchise! Lmao We all now understand how terrible it was, but it still brings so much joy!! Just joy for different reasons than it was back when they first released 😂
The moment Aro jumped down with Carlisle’s head in his hand the world literally stopped
As someone who actually grew up watching the Twilight Saga from when they first came out, back when I was a child, seeing Charlie talk about it has been some of the best content I've seen all month
Its so entertaining to see someone talk about it in this day and age
Its so wild to me and I adore it
Funny enough the scene where her back breaks was actually caused by Renesme reaching for the cup when it was dropped. It’s really weird but this series is so wild and I love it.
Jacob becoming a groomer for Bella’s baby was literally the most WTF moment in literary history. I swear to god, NOTHING will top that XD

Or even the actor of Jacob? XD

So basically a whole lot of nothing.
The full scene is both sides walk up, argue back and forth 3 times, bella uses her shield to protect them from Alec and Jane then they realize they have no power and leave.
Wait. Is that really how it ends?!?! 😂😂😂😂😂
To any writer who thinks their story will never be worth attention, just remember this fucking franchise is still making itself relevant
Fun fact. The author Stephanie Meyer started writing a series from Edwards perspective (The Twilight series is Bellas story) but she ditched it after the first part was leaked.
Pretty sure it came out like a couple years ago!
It was actually published not too long ago, maybe 2018? 2020?

Knowing that Stephanie Meier is a Mormon makes the twilight saga make so much more sense

charlie describing the scenes in this movie is indistinguishable from someone recounting a completely nonsensical dream without any filters
Props to Charlie for surviving the magnum opus, his deadpan reactions make me more emotional than entirety of Twilight
34:34 That last part was definetly added in the movie, because the ending in the book to my knowledge, was fight over, and everything ended. The writer must've realized that the last book didn't have a conclusive ending, so they legitimately made one up.
No, it had the part of Bella showing Edward the memories of him.
A truly iconic series
The New Moon novel was even worse. Half the book was just Bella constantly whining about being hurt because Edward left her.

I also meant Victoria, not Veronica

I feel so privileged to have been a teenage girl during the Twilight era. True cultural phenomenon to witness. The Edward vs. Jacob feud was like crips vs. bloods. Bloodshed in middle school hallways all across the world.
You know what's also wild about Jacob imprinting on the baby? Girls back then found it really sweet and romantic.

I unironically love these movies and I think they are wonderful, and I love that Charlie has watched them
Reading the books first makes this so frustrating bc the movies do such a bad job at showing the timeline.
