@@AlkemystxOkay don’t judge me but when I was like around 7 or 8, I used to be obsessed with Dora the explorer and Frozen so once, my mom bought me Dora school supplies since I used to love that show as a kid and I was so excited I couldn’t wait to go to school. Next day came around and I went to school, everything was going fine til this one girl asked if she could borrow my Dora ruler, pencil, pencil bag, headband, etc. I said okay cause I was such a people pleaser and let her borrow it. The end of the school day came and I asked her to give it back. She asked if she could keep it for just one day and that she swore she’d bring it back the next day and me being an idiot, I said okay because I felt SO bad saying no. I haven’t seen that girl ever since. I was so sad I actually started crying. Something similar happened when I was in middle school where I let a girl borrow my phone for the weekend. She gave it back but imagine she didn’t? This stupid people pleasing thing still bothers me to this day. Like I got 100 dollars from my mom once when I went to visit my grandma for in case I wanted to buy anything while I was there and I ended up fixing out my money in 20s to the kids there. I mean I kinda gave them a challenge where if they read a certain about of pages on a book, the money was there and they actually did it so I don’t feel too bad about that time but there was also another instance where I got more money from my mom and I gave it to my older cousins. I know it sounds dumb but it feels so terrible saying no to someone. I’d rather be broke and sad than ever have to say no to anyone and deal with the guilt

I have blocked more accounts on facebook and instagram than on any other platform. There's an abundant number of scammers, bots, and fake accounts. Every time the CEO of a platform brags about the number of "active users" they've got it makes you wonder how many of them are real. What makes it worse is that these people never get punished for it.

When I was a trainee at a bank for a while I saw several 30+ year old people taking out thousands and sometimes tens of thousands worth in loans out just to pump them into crypto or weird courses like this because they think they will make the money back to pay the loan and then some with this stuff. So yes...there are people that are old enough, desperate or stupid enough to buy these courses. And yes some people literally go into tens of thousands of debt to buy them.

I love videos like this when he calls out scumbags. You just know that Charlie is living rent-free in their heads after he posts one of these
You are a top comment, please edit it calling out TooTurntTony, he is a massive UA-cam who impersonated a parent to abduct a kid who he found on a beach after the kid was lost from its parent and kept him in his house for 2 weeks. @S he took the kid out of school and impersonated the father. The parents didn't abandon the kid, they lost it. Big difference. How tf do people not see someone with power and influence using it to get close to a vulnerable child as incredibly concerning.
@Zae fym “proof” it’s literally on his youtube page bro

I love how Charlie basically gives huge boosts to people's youtube channels by giving them a shoutout whenever they do cool stuff. You have Charlie's support get ready for a few thousand new subscribers, lol.
As horrible as this is, I’m honestly impressed how a 19 year old could accomplish something like this, it’s just so maniacal and complex it makes me think he’s been planning it for years
I guarantee you this kid is going to be absolutely miserable when he’s old bc no one in his life trusts him.
Dude was probably on Reddit at 16, and it's just been in the works.
He may have help from his lovely parents. Or not. Dunno.
@Logan Floor I love how people that own these bots still thinks this shit works lmao
Don't be. Dude grew up with a silver spoon and everyone agreeing with him growing up. That inherently gave him that sadistic confidence to scam others. It's easy to be powerful when everything has been handed to you you're whole life.
All scammers needs to be stopped and its just so damn frustrating that scammers just keep getting away with this shit
I can never understand how people are ok with scamming others. Does it make them feel good to sleep with dirty money?
Yes
its narcissism. you should watch the coffeezilla convo with iceposeidon. i feel like thats pretty close to how most of these people are.
When that money starts coming in? People do not care lol
For 1.5 million dollars peoples morality goes out the window
They don't care, find some justification for themselves why they aren't in the wrong or they actually like it.
somebody scammed me and took my Salamance in a pokemon game a while back when i was like 7, i still remember that day. that day, is the day i lost my trust in humanity.
I once had a great friend as a 9 year old… he had a Slifer the Sky Dragon I thought was so friggin awesome & he knew well that I really wanted to have the God Cards in my collection super bad.. so he said if I gave him 40 holographic cards he would let me have his Slifer.. As a dumb kid I said “Sure!”… Well out of those 40 holographic cards he left with many First Editions, Limited Editions, & Rare-ish Cards being he had a decent idea of what he should look for… Later in life when I felt my brain finally develop & I dropped to the floor, is when I figured out I’ll never forgive him or the world again
Amount* Theirs* Sorry about the typos, I was typing fast
@@S3YKOCH4N You really have to fix that. You will get used plenty for never saying no. It already happened and will happen again. As people always say: The more you give, the more people will want to take.
@@notcreativename1285 I know. But in the household I was raised in it’s so extremely rude to say no to people, most especially your elders or just people older than you. Maybe it’s because of what I was taught but I always feel guilty saying no even though I probably shouldn’t. I’m still working on it but thanks
As much as scams suck I love listening to Charles talking about them

I love Mattyballz! So happy to see this oddly unsuspected crossover
I'll never understand how people can live with themselves after scamming people. Especially since a lot of them prey on old people.
I assume a lot of the Indian phone scammers assume that Americans are extremely rich (and they are relative to India.) Their thinking process is probably the same as saying “oh Elon musk wouldn’t care if I took just 1 million dollars, he has multi billions after all”
@Enigma That is a horrible comparison, car salesmen actually sell you a product, yeah some can be scummy and rip you off, but Scammers sell you literally nothing. They're just thieves. If you actually want to compare car salesmen to something compare them to OF models, giving you a subpar product for an inflated price. 😂😂
Truth be told we're all born into and taught different values. While you have a conciousness that tells you scamming is morally wrong, a scammer either was never taught this or simply dosen't care/think long enough about the repercussions of their actions.
All that matters is the money, they don’t care about anything else
@@MrMorningStar666 not really, I myself am a example of how you can still turn. Used to be strictly against scamming but nowadays knowing how shitty a regular job is and just how much money people are actually willing to spend on what clearly a scam, I’m doing it myself too.
glad to see matty recognized on a big channel he makes good videos
I used to know Carter and you would never expect him to do all this, pretty insane. Dude was a skinny more nerdy kid that was just always kind of awkward. He actually tried to get me to join him when he was first starting out and as a young kid I almost went with him. I’m really glad now that I didn’t. Crazy world.
Charlie slapping our cheeks with the double fisted predictions at 5:20, not just crypto or courses, both
3:50 The main thing about Ed, Edd n Eddy is that they're more creative with their scams, the scams they come up with are actually interesting, like a giant cardboard city or turkey basters as squirt guns. Let me ask you this, are you more willing to believe any of The Eds' scams or an NFT/crypto scam? The fact that there are still people who fall for the most blatantly obvious scams just makes me lose even more faith in the human race.
I knew damn well something wasn’t right when every rapper that was doing these type of giveaways said having to follow dozens of accounts was a requirement to participate. Cuz my first thought was, how tf are they gonna have the time to check if the hundreds of ppl participating were actually following all the accounts? Add that to the fact they NEVER said when the winner was gonna be announced.
11:00 absolutely true. Been working in the US for 7 weeks, looked at a ton of billboards but never thought "ah, yano what? I'll check that shit out".
To be fair, 90% of billboards are lawyers saying they'll help if you've been in an accident, but I imagine most people haven't.

I mean, swing for the fences on your only marketable skill I guess.
If he has that much money, I wonder why he doesn't just invest it like a normal person and just post the same rich kid pics anyway?
@@gravyz2cute4u considering that this kid is a trust fund baby, he probably doesn't understand the value of a dollar and chances are, he wasted it on trivial crap. This is typically the result of terrible parenting. Rich people raise terrible kids. I’ve always been surprised at how a scammer can look at the things they do, see how they’re messing with someone’s lives and actively do them. But then I remember “money” and I feel silly for even hoping they’d have a shred of humanity to realize how much harm they are doing to people.

@rotomrights1004 yep but it's so drastically out of proportion that it isn't funny. It's like saying the generic sentence "for the million-th time I..." when you clearly only said that thing a few times. The list of examples goes on, overexaggeration has levels and it can become a little cringe

I'm new here Charlie so glad I found you, a sane voice in a world of lunacy.
Charlie you inspire me to become a UA-camr love ya dude❤❤
Harder the times get more scams will appear. Brace yourself as we are just getting started.
nothing to be particularly proud of
Charlie you really underestemate how desperate some people are.
