Saying that Coffee is wrong because he interviewed a criminal because that criminal worked for Logan is hilarious. It's like a real life trap card. "You can't get info from my employees because I only hired terrible people!"
It’s also an ad hominem logical fallacy. He attacks people character to try to direct people’s attention away from the actual claims being made against him.
For someone who claimed to have "busted his ass" for his reputation back, I'm pretty sure that half of the internet still remembers him as the person who laughed at a dead body in the suicide forest. As far as I know, he went from douchebag, to boxer, to organized criminal. I honestly can't tell if this one step up, or twenty steps backwards for him.
He never boxed anyone legit anyway so you can just mark that off the list. I mean no one his size that was his age and stuff. Being carried by Mayweather hardly makes him look good when he's so much bigger than him
@@andrewa6171 Everyone starts off like that. They really haven't made much progress for the years they've trained tho. But they have professional licenses which i guess makes them boxers
I'm a lawyer and, let me assure you: this is basically every lawyer's dream. This is the litigatory equivalent of going into trial with a taped confession of the plaintiff saying "Yeah, I'm the actual mastermind, and I'm planning to throw the defendant under the bus" and then describing, word-for-word all the 'evidence' the prosecution has and how they forged it. If Logan Paul had kept his mouth shut and just sued, I'm sure with a sufficiently competent legal team he could have made Coffeezilla look REALLY bad and won. But he couldn't, his ego wouldn't allow that, so he had to make the stupidest video possible (and I guarantee you - he did this either without consulting or against the advice of his lawyers) and now he's basically written the defense's speeches for them. As a general word of advice: if you're going to take legal action - especially if you know you're in the wrong - at least involve a lawyer in the process BEFORE the absolute last moment. Don't be like Logan Paul and just figure "lmao how hard can it be?". Because the answer is 'very hard', especially if you're an idiot scam artist.
"Yes, I hired a ton of criminals and either I didn't do my due diligence or I did do it and just didn't tell anyone about it, but you made me look bad, so I'm suing!" - Logan Paul, summarized
Logan Paul doesn’t need to try he’s boring and basic as fuck and so are his viewers anyone who thinks critically already doesn’t buy into anything LP does
Yeah, the problem with "influencers", is some of them are heads of 8-to-9-figure value media companies, and have no idea what executive management is. His entire fucking job is to make sure his team is doing their job. He can't turn around and say, "It's not on me to work out if people I'm hiring are fit for the job; my team dropped the ball there". How can anyone ever trust anything this idiot does if not even *he* trusts the people making the decisions?
That flew in the face of what Logan said. If anything, Coffee could sue for defamation as he made up the thing about him trying to work with law enforcement and them saying he was speculative. He straight up lies multiple times to the point Coffee could easily win a defamation case against him, as well as his ASTOUNDING lack of anything resembling evidence, let alone proof.
I love that part too! She let's Coffee know later and then he goes "wait a minute..." and then calls them back and gives them evidence of Jay Mazini scamming a guy WHILE SHOWING HIS ID TO THE GUY IN A CHAT!!!! Long story short, the evidence Cofee was given from a victim was then used in court again the dude.
I simultaneously am caught between feeling bad for the people affected by Logan Paul's scams and also questioning who in the world would ever trust Logan Paul to do anything.
Don’t feel bad. Some of them are even thinking to buy MORE of Cryptozoo thinking that after the podcast the price will go up. After all of that Logan still manage to makes some of his fans to still invest to this scam lol
Unfortunately the sheep that follow him will agree it wasn't his fault, but that of his team's. Then will conveniently dodge the fact that logan set up that team.
It's probably not a scare tactic. Logan Paul legitimately seems dumb enough to think he would win that case. And even if he can't win, he has enough money to drag it out in court and make Coffee lose money on the legal costs too.
@@account-pending-deletion that's exactly what I was gonna say, he can't drag it out and make Coffee lose money on legal fines for as long as he wants, he's a rich bastard with twisted morals
@@account-pending-deletion I'm actually LEGITIMATELY HOPING Logan sues Steven (Coffeezilla) over this. You know why? Because that will bring the IRS into the equation. And how do you suppose the IRS will react when seeing evidence where the founders of a project are conspiring (and even have a RULESET) in place regarding how to manipulate the market for their token/game? Not to mention the fact that just by sueing he's basically burning his reputation to the ground on the internet, and Steven will most certainly have financial backing from every single person who wants Logan to fail. I'm hoping he's as stupid as you say and sue. Now THAT will be the biggest self own in history
"He stole from the rich and the poor, and kept it all for himself" Charlie, it is about time you write a book, this one sentence is the foundation for your villain.
What we're seeing has nothing to do with the real Logan Paul. Coffee did a good job of demonstrating that Logan as he portrays himself on camera is nothing like the actual him.
I'd love to see the comments on his video and see if anyone calls him out, but I'm not brave enough to look. Knowing him his viewers prolly pat him on the back for standing up for himself or some shit
So let me get this straight... Logan's defense is that his project was always SUPPOSED to suck, and he built an entire team of criminals and shady characters, and that's why the project failed, and somehow that means that Coffee is wrong? Brilliant. He had us in the first half.
Actually I think what Logan essentially admitted to is even better. He said that his team hired these shady characters to do everything. Logan essentially has nothing to do with anything that he promotes (other than boxing) and his team has a awful track record of hiring the right people for a job. If anyone in the future ever puts money into anything Logan promotes, they are the dumbest people in the world. They already were dumb to trust Logan, but now he has admited that he has zero to do with anything.
@@jthom0027 okay. then he should just apologize then. People should just promote what they believe in. Why did he even promote it? Filing a lawsuit should also not be an option.
@@jthom0027 just because he said he's not responsible doesn't make not responsible. And there is clear evidence that he knew what he was doing. Sometimes I wonder if you people actually watch the videos or just comment stupidity like this
Fun fact: you are legally allowed to record your own phone calls so long as you are a party of the conversation. Federal Law (18 U.S.C. § 2511) requires one party consent. So you can record your own phone calls.
Depends on the state, too. Certain states are one-party or two-party states with regard to video/audio recording. Edit: It's stated in the video that Coffeezilla was in Texas, a one party consent state, so he should definitely be legally allowed to record his own conversations with people.
Even so, he's a journalist. First thing I suspect if I get a call from journalist is recording everywhere, even off the record stuff (just not published on record).
@@ForgedinPrint that's an important distinction too. Privacy laws only apply when there is a _reasonable expectation_ of privacy. A call asking for a statement for an investigation is _far_ from that
@@dimsufferer9951lol that's not exactly how that works. States laws can be stiffer than federal laws. Plenty of people have gone to prison for "wire tapping" by recording phone calls without consent in states with the laws. Jeremy D'dwit is one of many.
Not a single of those hands were clean, save for those of the developers. Maybe... I wonder how difficult it was for them to realize that they were working on a scam.
Logan is unreachable except through a talent manager like most (sudo) "celebrities" but gets mad coffee called the only avaliable person, his manager. Make it make sense Logan.
I'm betting that Coffeezilla ran his story by a lawyer before posting. If Logan chooses to sue him, he's only going to out himself further and deeper as a scammer, he could end up with criminal charges because this "game" is apparently not up and running and penguin didn't show the very end where Logan Paul has the dates 2023/2024 as if it's still to come. People have lost millions, a judge could rule that Logan Paul pay them all back. I'm going to say Logan threw out an empty threat because he knows he owes people money and he might have intentionally hired scammers, because he is one, birds of the feather.
I love how Coffeezilla literally exposes Logans text conversation where he's planning on scamming his investors, like actually planning it out, all in text with the other scammers.... and somehow still has the audacity to deny he did anything wrong.
Logan's plan was the equivalent of stealing small amount of money from a bank vault over time. But his buddy just emptied it out for himself the first day.
@@reezy9727 feel like Logan Paul is the type to come up with the idea and the lawyers were like sure🤷♂️ Never seen anyone with a brain by his side ngl Edit: maybe we’ll find out the lawyers were criminals
It makes me so happy that this Charles video has more views than Logan’s actual response. More people waited for Charlie to make a video on Logan, than they actually waited for Logan.😭
maybe because he wasnt in charge of the hiring process? hes an idiot but to be fair eddie ibanez did most of the hiring and he's conned a shitton of high profile people until his recent exposure
_"Why did I hire a criminal you ask? _*_Because I trusted the other criminal I hired to hire another criminal!"_* Probably my favourite point of contention Logan brought up against himself.
"Did I hire a criminal who did 2 rug pulls? Yes I did, because my team didn't do their research properly and neither did I. But you also didn't do your research Coffee, you didn't know this guy already did 2 rug pulls like I did!" It's like he's either extremely dumb and did much less research than he is accusing Coffee of not doing, or he knew about the criminals and said nothing so he could scam his audience. And the best part is he doesn't understand that with his own video these are the only two conclusions you can draw.
Jesus.. hearing the people in chat ask how it was a scam and say you’re biased actually made me sick to my stomach. Can people really not think for themselves.. whoever’s video was uploaded most recently is telling the truth in todays world.
My guess is they've already invested money, so they are in denial and wishing Logan isn't scamming them because they're too deep in to leave his "game."
@@ethanarchy2070has jake got into controversy on his own? I don’t remember hearing his controversy outside of him being groups up with Logan’s shenanigans? I wouldnt speak out as well, I think him doing his own thing is probably good for him. Logan seemed to me like the instigator?
The greatest part to all of this. Logan is perfectly willing to spend literally MILLIONS in legal expenses to sue coffeezilla instead of simply just using that same money to refund the people who were caught up in his incompetence while selling a "Game" that was made by a team of scammers and con artists.
The greatest part is that his response is “well let me tell you why you are un creditable , if you did your research you would know that I hired a bunch of criminals, HA! Gotcha.”
@@karrimgyver Fair. The point is he is a fake millionair Prick whose EGO is so big he can't see that at the end of the day this is his own fault. He also appears to surrounded himself with yes men who are too afraid to tell him the truth. The man makes an aproximated $35 million a year so he has the means to make this right and just doesn't want to.
Well ofcourse, because if he refunded the poor people he screwed over then he'd be admitting guilt. Logan isn't going to do that and so won't be paying anybody back unfortunately
@@karrimgyver It can be millions. There have been similar cases recently. Mark Wade being sued by Richard Myer for example. Wade called businesses in Texas to defame Myer to get them to not sell Myer's comic book. Myer sued Wade for defamation and got a $200,000 war chest in donations from his community to do it. Wade did everything he could do do stall, and cost more money to Myer. The $200,000 war chest dried up and eventually, Myer had to spend his own money to keep it going. 2 years later there was still nothing actually happening, so Myer was forced to settle with Wade. It costs a lot of money to sue, and it costs a lot of money to defend when being sued. That's why a lot of content creators are bullied by false DMCA, which happens all the damn time. Sue and then stall. The side with the deeper pockets wins 99% of the time.
The part where he rips Coffee for not reaching out to him directly is so damn funny. That's literally what your manager is for, as if his manager didn't tell him about it, as if he didn't have every chance to call him back. What a joke.
Yeah that really had me rolling. The whole point of keeping a manager is so they don't directly interact with you. People literally go "talk to my manager lol" if you even try and I'm pretty fucking sure that's what Logan would've done to Coffee if he reached out to him before his manager without thinking too much into it. Now that his manager failed at damage control, he's going like "you could've reached out to me I thought we're bros here". He's a fucking clown dude. EDIT: Saw Coffee's tweet the other day where he debunked this claim, so now Logan's doubly clowned himself. *chef's kiss*
the worst thing is that he did in fact reach out to him like year ago when there were but mere rumors about cryptozoo being a scam, and he didn't reply

He has a way of pointing out the obvious in a comedic way, but also makes astonishing points that you wouldn’t think about at first, but make you nod your head in agreement because he’s right.
Complaining that he should have approached him directly, when he goes to great effort to be unaccessible, instead of his manager, is like complaining that someone should have gone to your house, in a private, gated community, instead of calling you on the phone.
What rubbish manager does he have if he didn't let him know coffezilla wanted to contact him? Just what is Logan complaining about here? He's a victim of everyone he has around him? "I'm with stupid" t-shirt comes to mind.
Being mad that he called you on the phone that your butler answers for you. Then requesting to talk to you but you told your butler you weren't talking to him and to take a message.
Logan's team of employees should quit their jobs and not pretend nothing has happened nor changed. Why work with someone who is def delirious loony minded seeking for attention. Logan Paul is always hoax himself and can't admit his errors; instead he's being part of the hype crowdfunding like NFTs
If Coffeezilla had contacted him, and not also his manager, Logan's line would have been: 'You tried to rudely confront me in DMs. I get thousands of messages a day from people I don't know. What you should have done is contact my manager, if you were truly a professional acting in good faith.'
@@Noodles.Doodles Funny part is that Coffee actually tried to contact him lmao. In 2021 he messaged not only Logan's manager asking to talk to Logan but he also sent a message through instagram but Logan never responded
He also said"I am good because I didn't sell tokens on a crypto project which was burning in the background while I openly promoted it telling no one it was."
Also I like how he tries to pretend his only mistake was trusting his hiring team (as if he had no responsibility for that as well), when he actually WAS PLANNING A RUGPULL in those chat messages, he never talks about that and tries to pretend none of that happened, and his only mistake was "hiring the wrong people".
In fairness to Logan, he'd be admitted to fraud if he did that, and would most likely go to prison if the feds decided to pursue it. I'm sure his lawyers told him not to even make this video, but if he insisted, they probably told him not to admit guilt.
If Logan does decide to sue Coffee, then Coffee could have a compelling case for an Anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) countersuit. It will ultimately depend on the jurisdiction where Logan files, but it could mean that if Logan loses then he is required to not only pay Coffee's legal fee but also penalties to Coffee for the lawsuit itself. In the case of the manager's recording, Logan is not a party to that so it would be on his manager to file the lawsuit. Which even if Logan wants to bankroll the lawsuit, the manager's neck is the one on the line if an Anti-SLAPP counterclaim wins. If Logan decides not to pay the penalties, then the manager is still on the hook for them, so it really comes down to if his manager trusts that Logan will pay for everything.
Also, according to federal law, Steven can record phone calls, and according to state law in Texas, where the call was recorded, Steven can record phone calls. So Logan really should have done some research
The fact that Logan tried to even accuse Coffee that he never reached out to him until recently WHEN HE HAD BLOCKED HIM ON TWITTER AND HIS MANAGER LEFT COFFEE ON READ SINCE OCTOBER is just mind boggling to me as to how ANYONE would even take this guy remotely seriously.
Plausible deniability is usually one of the last lines of defense for these people in these situations. Just play dumb and act like you had no knowledge then draw it out until you get taken to court
He literally said himself that coffee contacted HIS MANAGER. Like that isn't the most standard way of trying to contact a person like Logan. "Why don't you contact me?" cuz that's not how it works!!! your manager is supposed to help you manage your contacts, dealing with business enquiries or important issues like clarifying a serious allegation. Like how else shud i contact you? am I suppose to call you up via my phone? He is just putting words out to stir everything up so his 8yo audience would believe.
@@ekamsingh1640 i do remember that somewhere in the video it stated that the research for this case started about a year ago, so one can assume that Coffee did tried to reach out way before December. That's what there's legal concepts like saying that someone is "defamation proof" ie their public reputation is so terrible that accusing them of jaywalking isn't an actionable offense
Right! The minute he came into that ring in WWE with "The Miz" (another complete douche imo) it should have been the warning sign that he was not a likeable person at all
Logan: "Coffee, you took a shot at my reputation, [blink] I am going to defend myself with facts [blink][blink] which you have gotten in the habit of twisting[blink][blink][blink][blink][blink][blink][blink]. Yeah this guy is totally trustworthy.
Logan Paul's response to a well-thought, deeply investigated three part series on his misgivings consisted of, "When he did contact me directly, I didn't respond, and when he contacted my manager, I didn't respond." This is followed by mud-slinging against specific bad actors in the crypto space, throwing his own criminal goons under the bus, and not taking accountability for anything, finally ending it by taunting us with yet another grift and threatening legal action against Coffeezilla. It's severe. It's continuous. It's a lapse in judgement that I dont expect to ever be forgiven. I hope Coffee owns this clown in court.
@@Thecultofwrestling Honestly its like he forgets he works for them. He's used to being his own boss and doing whatever but this kind of stuff will get him noticed by WWE in the worst way.
Suing Coffeezilla is an insane reaction. If he really wanted to take no responsibility he could have just pretended he had no idea he hired criminals and sue those people to save face.
Suing coffeezilla would mean a certain loss Logan is in the wrong. Cryptozoo IS a scam so logan would not only lose the case, he would also get investigated by the actual court for scamming
@@bvdf84 I mean, technically its not a scam. And that is the only claim Logan has. Before that, he would need to have an actual release date set for his game. Doesnt mean Logan would win tho, because the evidence that was available pointed heavily to the conclusion that Coffeezilla made. If Logan truly wants a chance at winning a lawsuit against Coffeezilla, he would need to sue the criminal developers who were acting with malicious intent. Which, by the way, hiring people who have a felony isnt the same as hiring criminals, so that sueing might also not work as Zach Kelling has not been doing any criminal activities after he served justice. So not only would Logan need to prove that all his fired teammembers were working with malicious intent, he would also need to finish the game in a way where its not scamming any people directly and would be promoted that people can lose money(as its essentially Lootbox the Game). And that is going to be incredibly tough to do.
I would imagine some YT Lawyers out there may even offer to help pro bono tbh, but either way he'll probably have no problem getting money for a good lawyer
Coffeezilla: The employee we spoke with, we'll simply call him Z, so we don't completely dox him Logal Paul: Well Jokes on you, I hired a criminal and allow me to dox him
The "why did you talk to my manager and not me?" thing is completely insane. He gets in touch with his manager, asks to talk to Logan, Logan doesn't respond, and then goes for "why didn't you reach out to me instead?", when he's actually blocked him on Twitter? WTF?
Someone clearly wrote this script for him lmao and even then they had trouble actually finding any solid evidence so they used words that aren't frequently used to tame the masses 😂😂😂
Which is why I don't believe he has a lawyer. And if he does, the lawyer isn't doing their job of explaining to Logan, the client, of why he shouldn't make a video response until after court proceedings.
@@lazer2521 He could have a lawyer but isn’t following advice or wasn’t given it yet. His ego got in the way of following the advice of his lawyers. We all know about Logan’s ego.
@@sardonisms I would be surprised if someone with that much money and audience size didn’t have a lawyer(s). I’m not sure if the situation would warrant a lawyer to leave. It’s important to wait and see how this develops. When it comes to Texas law which Charlie mentioned, I don’t think that matters as it’s possible for him to just go jurisdiction shopping. Even if there aren’t any legal merits for a lawsuit, he could still sue for the sake of publicity and to cost Steven a lot of money and stress. If I were Logan, I wouldn’t sue because that would given Steven the right to request documents through discovery providing more evidence to him about CryptoZoo and the schemes.

It was hard not to laugh at this, especially when Logan was mad about the fact that Coffee "Didn't reach out to him" and talked to his manager instead when in Coffee's video he showed that Logan had him blocked on his social media XD
I also like how Logan's proof of Coffee's "first time reaching out" has the title "3rd request for comment..." at the top, implying that was not the first time he's attempted reaching out to Logan. He can't even keep his narrative consistent in his own accusation, goddamn.
I am confused. Is either Coffe or Logan's manager in California or was present ( to anyone's knowledge) in California at the time of the phone call? Because if not by the evidence shown by Logan himself he has no argument to claim an "invasion of privacy" lol. Also we don't know ( at least from our side) if Coffe started the conversation with the manager that he was recording for legal reasons or not.

Love how he tries to discredit CZ only to use the info from the CZ video, to confirm the people Paul hired were scammers. It’s like CZ handed him the rope to hang himself 🤦♀️
About the illegal phone call thing: Texas is considered a "one-party consent" state. As long as you're one of the parties on the call, you're legally allowed to record it without the other party's consent. However, if you're an outside party not within the call, you're not allowed to record it/wiretap it or anything like that. Coffeezilla will be totally fine.
Incorrect. The California Supreme Court ruled in 2006 that if a caller in a one-party state records a conversation with someone in California, that one-party state caller is subject to the stricter of the laws and must have consent from all callers. Coffeezilla needed to get consent from Logan's manager before recording and can still be held liable to California law if push comes to shove.
@@b.j.blazkowicz9169 yes, came here to say this ^ That said, it would be so incredibly frivolous to pursue this imo.

It's actually insane to accuse someone of character assassination when you've done well enough to assassinate your own character

Yeah this guy is totally trustworthy.
The biggest joke for me was when Logan Paul started talking about his reputation. What does Logan Paul think his reputation IS at this point?
I won't be happy untill he is fired from the wwe
Hey Logan, coffee will be more than happy to handle this in the boxing ring.
@@Thecultofwrestling Honestly its like he forgets he works for them. He's used to being his own boss and doing whatever but this kind of stuff will get him noticed by WWE in the worst way.

Right? Play it off like you didn’t know that and Coffeezilla was doing you a favor.
Suing coffeezilla would mean a certain loss
Logan is in the wrong. Cryptozoo IS a scam so logan would not only lose the case, he would also get investigated by the actual court for scamming
Also great way to encourage a countersuit for Logan's actual slander against Coffeezilla in this video
@@bvdf84 OP means Logan should pretend he didn't know the others involved in his scam were criminals, blame them and sue them.

About the illegal phone call thing:
Texas is considered a "one-party consent" state.
