I have used some 4ply yarn which I have dyed myself and a 6mm hook but you can use whatever yarn you wish! I look forward to seeing everyone’s version of The Hexi Shirt.
The tutorial is in US TERMS and is perfect for an adventurous beginner. It really is a great mindless project!

You're a bad girl, Kelly... In the last week, I've (finally) finished two of your hexicardigan pattern (varied according to my girls' different tastes!) as well as your Four Square Jumper for a third daughter. Was ready to finally ready to pick up my knitting needles to make something for me...and you tip up with this irresistible little number! I know exactly which daughter will appreciate this one, and of course I'm going to have to crack on with it immediately! Thank goodness I have yarns coming out of my ears!!!!
Thank you so much for your lovely patterns and first class tutorials. My favourite phrases of yours: "Don't worry" and "Just wing it". I'm learning to live by both in my crochet journey!!!!
Ha ha sorry!!! I know the feeling when you have multiple crafts shouting your name!! 🤣🤣 And yes absolutely wing it! I wing all of my makes and that's what makes them unique and individual 😆 (well that's what I tell myself anyway!)
@@CraftandaCuppa I'm not sorry! I've been knitting for 50 years and crocheting for...must be at my one year mark about now! You're like having a friend sitting beside me, giving me the confidence I so often lack. Better yet, you never fail to make me laugh and smile with your commentary. You're like a breath of fresh air!
Unique and individual. That they are! I had a hard time with the cardi's. My daughters' wouldn't let me colour control...and there you were doing more or less that! It was painful!!!! I have to admit though, the end results are fabulous and on account of a certain Miss Swift, floating around London this weekend!
@@karenh7830 ah really! Hope they have an amazing time! Yes I used to worry about going wrong all the time but now I think "oh well nevermind, let's frog it and go again, or just fluff it and carry on!" 😆
I'm not a fan of long tutorials, but I liked the shirt and wanted to see it made. I did use the time stamps ro skip some parts. I love the yarn; it made up beautifully. I like the collar addition. 😊
Thank you 🥰
Thank you Kelly. Your shirt looks fantastic. Love the colours. I've just finished the 2xl size. I'll take pics tomorrow and tag you on fb or Instagram. It's been great fun crocheting along with you as usual.
Oh wow have you really! You've been super busy!! Can't wait to see it 🤗❤️
I only just found you. You have a new subscriber. I loved this tutorial. I don’t normally watch long videos, but something told me I needed to watch this one and I loved every minute of it. Thank you for sharing.❤
Thank you so much! Yes I used to worry about the length of the tutorials but I do include every part so no one is left second guessing what they need to do. I also use plenty of timestamps so everyone can navigate their way through the tutorial 😆🥰
I love your video! You made me laugh on more then one occasion with your adorable accent and sense of humor. Thank you, i can hardly wait to try this pattern. You are very talented and sweet to share.😊
Thank you so much 🥰

Hello , Leonard!
@@MsSaka100 ha ha he's always about somewhere!
Ti amooooo....usi colori favolosiii😊😊😂😂❤❤
Nice tutorial, thanks. That's a myth, 13 is actually a very good number.
@@Gardeninggurl thank you! Yes I've always been ridiculously superstitious and like to dodge the number 13 😆
Gorgeous coloured yarn I love your patterns thanks so much for keeping me company it 1 30 in the morning.while I'm watching you.definately will make one for myself as I've made lots of kiddies ones.how many balls do I need for med size.
Hi if you are using a phone then you need to click the title of my video and then "more" and it will bring up the description and everything you need to know to make the shirt along with yarn est for each size 🥰
💝💝💝
Hi, thank you for the tutorial.
Do you have to complete both row 3 and row 4 when you are increasing the depth of the sleeve or can you finish on a row 3 without doing a row 4 if you have already reached your required measurement please ? TIA
@@jennyfarmer9983 yes you can finish on either row 🥰
I have yarn with very similar colors as yours. I'm going to try this with a 5mm hook so its not too holey. Your yarn is the equivalent to a US fingering weight yarn, right?
Yes it is 🥰
Do you have a written pattern for this shirt that I could purchase? I have a hard time following tutorial videos. Thx 💕
Hi I haven't written it up yet but I do have plans to!!
How many rows for the small did you get with the 14cm arm length and 19 cm arm depth because I want to make this size?
@@leochick77 hi all of the info you need to make the pattern is in the description of the video. It goes by measurements, not the amount of rows. If you are using your phone then click the title of my video and then "more" and it will bring up all the details 🥰❤️
@CraftandaCuppa Yes I screen shot all of that info. However I figured it out through measuring as I was making the first panel and now I'm making the second one by those same measurements. Thank you for your response.
What is the reason that you turn your work for the next row? It's the first time I see/hear this.
Hi it's optional but turning your work keeps the seam in the centre corner, stops your stitches from leaning to one side and also provides continuity throughout the pattern as you will be turning your work when adding the back in fill rows and also if you wish to add length to the bottom 🥰
@@CraftandaCuppa ❤ Thank you
Hi kelly how could i make this i like dk yarn and what hook size plz i never buy 4 ply.x
You can use any ply of yarn and any hook that you wish as the pattern is made to measure 🥰
Ok thank you for getting back to me 😊
Cannot find the pattern for sizes ?
Are you using your phone? If so you need to click the title of my video and then "more" and it will bring up everything you need to know to make this pattern 🥰
Thank you have found it.xx
I have sound, i accidently pressed mute 😅
¡UY, AY: 3 HORAS!. DEBE DESTINARSE BASTANTE TIEMPO ¿VACÍO?, ¡PACIENCIA, LO TOMARÉ CON CALMA, OJALÁ VALGA LA PENA!. ¿Es necesario tanto tiempo en Introducción?.
There are timestamps in the description so you can skip that part.
No sound?
I think it might be glitchy because two other people had the same issue but now they can hear it. Do you need to unmute it, that could be another thing. I have sound all of my devices so I'm assuming it's a technical glitch...
That is an adorable top I'm going to have to give it a go .love your yarn .
@@bunnygaffney2765 thank you 😁
Look up, it might change your mind if you learn spiritually about the number 13, 1 and 3 are very wonderful numbers❤❤❤
I don't know if it's my phone, but I can't hear anything
Same issue here
Oh really that's odd. I have sound. Do you need to unmute it maybe?
I have sound now 🥳
Must have been a UA-cam glitch
I have sound now also. Naughty UA-cam. It knew you were going to get loads of views and couldn't cope ha ha
@@justineallen8293 phew thanks goodness for that 😆
