Yay, this child of the 60's can be a hippy again ...... but minus the hair as that went off on it's own accord years ago ;-) Nice use of the clone tool my friend.
Yayy I did it!! Haha thank you for showing us this!! The tutorial I was watching taught how to do it in Illustrator, and it's similar, but very different at the same time!! And since I can't afford Illustrator at the moment, this worked out perfectly!! I'm so stoked about this!! 😆🤩
Absolutely great video. I always liked Tie-Dye. The sad part is I can remember when it first became a thing. Thanks Rick for showing us how simple this is in Inkscape.
I've been trying to figure out a good way to create tie die for a while now. I tried a couple of things but this looks great just what I needed. Thanks Rick! 👍
Rick I watched videos enjoy them learning a lot got a question though I’m trying to take recipes from index card and save to computer to laser them on cutting boards. I’m not that good at all this new stuff lol would you do a video on it or point me in right direction thanks for your time Byron Beard
Hi Rick, how to digitalise hand drawn illustration such as manga characters in inkscape? Your inkscape tutorial has helped me improve tremendously in my art work, thank you very much.
Thanks so much, and I'm so glad to hear. I've been working on some manga type tutorials. Works in progress, and I hope to get the steps down at some point.
Everything went very well. Thank you again! Only adding the circle didn't work because the circle is not recognized as part of the clone original. ua-cam.com/video/iK8LCRneLxA/v-deo.html What am I doing wrong?
Nice! If adding the circle didn’t go into the spiral automatically, try clicking Create on the tiled clones menu again. If it spirals on the wrong center point can you let me know?
I'm always amazed how powerful Inkscape is and how simple it is when you teach us about it. Thank you Rick!
Thank you so much. That's my favorite thing to explore- how to simplify things.
Quick and easy, ty!
Thanks!😊
Thank you for making this so simple!
Thanks! Simple is nice.

Hi Rick, as always another amazing tutorial!👍
Thanks!! I really appreciate it!
Way above my skill level😊
Haha, you can do it!
Thank you for your great inspiration👏👏👏
Thank you very much!
Now you are the best
Haha- someday. Thank you!
Thanks so much for this valuable info. My question is: how do you get it to appear spiraling outward?
Wow man, cool man...
If I didn't know better I would have bet you were at Woodstock.
Haha! I’d love to have designed posters for Woodstock!
Amazing!!!!😍❤
Thank you!!!
