Once again you are serving most complex design principles in simple terms. I'm using Inkscape for more than 10 years and never was so easy to learn so simple of advanced concepts. Thanks for your works!!
Great teacher
Thank you!!
Inkscape is truly an amazing asset!
Yes, absolutely!
❤️❤️❤️ One of my favorite toys as a kid was the spirograph. Just fascinating!!
Thanks!! Mine too!
endless possibilities with Inkscape!
thanks for your time...
Thank you! Endless is right!
you are amazing my partner is more advanced than myself in computer work and we both enjoy waching your channel
Thanks so much! I love exploring what Inkscape can do.
Wow, really glad I found your channel! I love how powerful just simply duplicating and blurring is. Thanks for doing these!
Terrific! My new favorite UA-cam channel! ... Despite the language barrier. Nice greetings from Germany 🤩
Thank you so much! Vielen Dank!!
Perfect,thanks
Thank you!
Wow! I never knew art could be so easy! Thanks a miullion!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much! Inkscape makes it easy!
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Thanks so much!!
I love your tutorials because they are very neat!
Thank you!!
Nice tutorial Rick. Thank you.
You are great in explaining things in simple and understandable way.
We would love to know more about you like what do you do, your past projects, clent experiences, career advice, tips, suggestions, tools etc. ( Something like Chris Do does on thefutur UA-cam channel).
Thank you so much! I love the Futur channel and that would be a dream of mine to add more business-side videos. I went to school for design and graduated with an architectural degree, but my career took me a different direction. Mystery! (kidding, everything is on LinkedIn). I started this channel a year ago for fun and to connect with the community, only after years of planning to start but never pushing record. Now I'm hooked. The only real client that has approached me so far is HBO Max. They are using 2 of my designs in a new series coming out this year. That could be a fun video, sharing the footage, design process and how the business side of things unfolded. You've got me thinking- I could add case study videos (if I get more opportunities) Would people watch that?
Very comprehensive tutorial, learned new things :)
Thanks!! I skipped over some parts too, because I thought I was getting carried away.
Awesome! I love the way you teach.🙌
Thanks so much! I love doing these.
You are the best
Thanks! You- you're the best!
Great tutorial! super helpful!
Thanks so much!

Thanks!! Fun to do!
❤ your work!
Thank you so much!
Thank you, very helpful
Thanks so much!
Your really enjoying the process 👍
I really do. Thanks!
@@IronEchoDesign your enthusiasm is self evident 💪
Amazing, keep up to date,
Thank you!!
Hello Rick, you are an Inkscape expert, I follow all your projects with admiration. I couldn't find a source on how to make optical illusion with Inkscape. When you look at the optical illusion image, it looks like it's moving.
Thank you so much! I've played around with a few optical illusion projects in Inkscape. Its hard to get right, but if I can solve it, it would make a great video. Is there an example you had in mind?
Very cool lesson. Where do you find ideas for your videos?
Thanks!! From comments here and DMs on Twitter. I always appreciate the dialog and I very much thank you for your suggestions and encouragement on this journey I'm having with this channel.
@@IronEchoDesign Thank you for your channel, you inspire me to create new videos, and also give me the opportunity to love and know Inkscape even more. Good luck to you! What is your opinion about my humble channel?
Man, I love you!
Much love!!!
sir make video on making decoration for certificates
Thanks
Thank you!
Out of curiosity, have you had a chance to test InkScape 1.2 Alpha yet, and would you do a video (review or general run through the features)?
Loving this tutorial! Such giddy fun 🤩
Thank you!! And, that is a wonderful idea. I haven't tried 1.2 yet, but I'm excited to check it out. I should start planning a full rundown. Probably have it ready to time with the full release. Thanks!
@@IronEchoDesign looking forward to that! And glad I could suggest something hopefully useful! 😁 I think I already like the new gradient stop bar, which gives you more control on adding/removing gradient nodes. Double clicking on the gradient path has oftentimes been temperamental, closing the tool rather than adding nodes! 😐
Nice! I gotta check that out!
Awesome video. Really enjoyed watching. Do you have any video on High security design like currency using Inkscape. Can these guilloche be copied to Coreldraw or Illustrator. Thank you.
Thanks! Haven't done a high security design yet. This type of fine line geometric pattern could work well. Best way to move to illustrator would be to save as an SVG. You could also export as a PNG if thats preferred.
@@IronEchoDesignThank you. Plz do include this in your upcoming tutorial.
Can I apply few LPE to one path? Or I need duplicate the path and apply specific LPE and after combine paths?
Great question. Most of the time, yes. I show a couple examples of layering LPE on paths in the Mandala videos on this channel. Mirror Symmetry + Rotate Copies. Experimenting with different combos will reveal some LPE play well with others and others cause crashing or unintended outcomes.
Thanks for the video.
That's worth a Subscribe and a thumbs up. : )
Thanks so much!! I appreciate the support!
Help... I managed to move my tool bar from above to the right side. How did I do that? How do I get it back?
.............
Figured it out in the View tab for tool bars.
Help.. Older vsn of inkscape Stacked open tool tabs in a tile on the right side. The newer vsn wants to create the open tools in a TABBED manner across the top of a expanding tile on the right side. Is the older style available? How?
Good question. I'll open up Inkscape now and see if there is a solution. Can you give an example of which tool is doing the tabbed manner?
Old vsn created a window with a horizontal tab stack. Tabs such as Align, Fill and Stroke, Trace, etc. New vsn creates tabs across the top of the window like a browser.
Interesting. I actually was messaging one of the Inkscape developers yesterday and he recommended I try out version 1.2. I try to make the tutorial videos using the latest official release and 1.2 is still in production, not totally official yet. I wonder how it will be stacking the menus. Whatever they keep or change, I'll roll with it.
None of these are spirograph curves, though. They are discrete ellipses, instead of one continuous spiral (hypocycloid or whatever it is called)...
Thanks, and I was waiting for this comment! You are correct. I made the artistic choice to use vernacular. You can isolate each copy and connect them with the bezier pen if mathematically pure nomenclature is preferred.
