I would’ve put Turning Red and Strange World as the worst movies of 2022! Those movies are a big disgrace to Disney! Those movies are targeted towards children, they are worse than Avatar II, at least I can tolerate James Cameron!
My friend and I watched Halloween ends together on peacock. Spoilers We kept saying “put Micheal in a wood chipper” or “sink him to the bottom of the ocean like that girl from the old guard.” We weren’t expecting them to actually do something like that.
I had forgotten about The Secrets of Dumbledore! What a mess, and then to have that stupid fawn kneel in front of Dumbledore, and then another F'ing wizard we know NOTHING about when the obvious solution was to have it kneel in front of Jacob/the baker as the contrast to Grindelwald... just frustrating how inept it was.
@@AJ82778 there where so many stupid plots in the movie. That barely showed the dinosaurs. They kept bringing in characters from the Jurassic world that I forgot who they where.
I remember the therizinosaur, that's basically it. (Also I agree with the guys that the actress playing the clone girl might be really good, if she ever gets some good material.)
Two major problems with the Fantastic Beasts scripts. 1. With the Harry Potter series, she just let her mind run, and the story goes where it goes. Even when she didn't want that character to die, or something, if that's what the story needed, that's what she wrote. On Fantastic Beasts, she's trying too hard to make the story go where she wants it to go. 2. As you said, she should have just written it as a book. She had a great working relationship with the script writer of the Harry Potter films, and he really could have made something with this material. She thought she could learn his job and cut him out, but it just didn't work.
I went into the fantastic beasts movie expecting to hate it so much because I HATED the second one so much and I was just left with a bunch of nothing and that made me more upset because I didn’t hate it as much as the second one but it was stupid and useless and trying to be a big message movie and it didn’t do a good job and it also didn’t feel like Harry Potter either so it just sat there and I was like “why”
Uh, don't worry Brad; Cameron is already working with Disney to redo the "Flight of Passage" ride at Animal Kingdom so it now matches the Way of Water version.
The Texas chainsaw massacre reboot is awful it didn’t get the the original movie it being the fear of being out in the middle of Texas with no one who can help. Also the thing with the original protagonist in the original passed away all the way back in 2014 and it was very disrespectful with that and the school shooter thing.
Hollywood has to learn that Source Material matters with adaptation and you HAVE to include ALL the characters and make them ALL the right age, gender, race, sexuality, clothing , voice you CAN'T change it. When you do an Original idea or you adapt some thin g that's public domain maybe or you do a new version of an old story you can freely make changes. Its Not racist to hate your movie for being wrong and bad and its not the fault of the characters or the art style if your movie bombs for bad writing. There are SOME time where you can FULLY change EVERY character like TMNT but some times , MOST of the time characters NEED to be the CORECT EVERY THING And while your at it Lay off the "Big name star must be attached" bit too I don't know ANY of these people when they ARE so called "Big Name" Stars. And stop holding up GOOD ideas waiting for a better thing to come along DO fun ideas before the BEST actor dies of old age. Its NOT hard to write and make a movie just nearly impossible to get cast and props and costumes and sets and junk because every one wants money . Bottom line people who wear suits all day and roll around in money should not make movies. People who wear T-shirts and jeans and watch TV and read comics and play video games should make movies Hollywood needs to be run by UA-camrs and Deviant Art and Facebook and Discord not by some 1950s white strait old man who can't even pass a basic 4th grade level super hero trivia contest. Ifg you can't name 8 Reindeer , all 7 dwarves, 6 Robins five Green Lanterns, 4 Captains, 3 Doctors , 2 jedi and a Pokémon in a pear tree you DON'T get to Green Light movies
How could you not finish Batman and Robin every single time you watch it? Yes, it's terrible, but in the absolute best way. Everytime I watch that movie I watch it with a shit eating grin from ear-to-ear. It's such a fun time! To me, if you're a fan of the 1966 Adam West Batman TV show, you should have no problem watching Batman and Robin from 1997. Because it's the exact same thing, just a few decades later. And that's why I love it! Also love movies like these because for what they are, they are unique and strange happenings within these franchises. Also, much like the 1966 show (well, and the comics at the time) tarnished Batman's image so much that it caused them to return him to his dark roots in the 70s, Batman and Robin did the same thing for the modern film franchise. Batman forever maintained a lot of dark elements but started leaning into the camp, Batman and Robin took it all the way out into left field. It was because of this that Warner Brothers had to recalibrate and go back to the drawing table and fix this franchise. Of course, the rest is history as we were introduced to the fantastic and much darker Dark Knight trilogy. Batman begins as one of the best Batman films ever made and we would have never gotten it had it not been for Batman and Robin. Anyway, I love that movie. I guess I was just surprised to hear you say that you never finish it completely when you watch it. I just have such a good time watching it, I couldn't imagine not finishing it.
I remember watching Jurassic world domination with my family at home. We watched it for like 30 minutes just kinda silent. I think all of us thought the other enjoyed it so we kept watching it and then I got so bored I just said “this movie sucks!” And then everyone else was just agreeing so we stopped watching it
As far as Rob zombie's Munsters is concerned, I was really looking forward to it as a Rob zombie and a munsters fan, and it was one of my most highly anticipated films of the Year. Especially with Rob zombie being a self-proclaimed gigantic fan of the show. It really seemed like a win-win and it was an absolute dud. The set designs and costumes are gorgeous and a lot of the lighting schemes are pretty cool. But that's about it. Of course Sheri Moon zombie is as beautiful as always. But I will have to say I disagree with you on one thing. This is not the film I expected at all. Yes, I expected it to have some of his signature flair, but with this being a more family-friendly film and a throwback to a show from the 60s, I really thought that Rob zombie would try something new and really prove himself. Especially since his last several films have not been that successful. He needs a win. And if there was ever going to be one, this was it. As much as he loves to make everything feel as 1970s and grindhouse as possible, I really thought he was going to take a different approach with this movie. I didn't feel like it was going to be a carbon copy of the show, nor did I feel like it was going to go full-blown into Rob zombie territory. I figured he would find a nice spot somewhere in the middle and do something special, but it looks like this time around Rob just went ahead and made another movie for Rob. But no, this is absolutely not what I was expecting, even from Rob Zombie. On a side note, I I am in the minority of people who thoroughly enjoy both of Rob zombie's Halloween films. With the disappointment of a film that was Halloween ends, while not terrible, was absolutely divisive. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't what I wanted to cap off that trilogy. It wasn't the time or the place to tell that story. But I digress, with that recent disappointment in that franchise it kind of makes you wonder what Rob zombie's Halloween 3 could have been like. And I'm not talking about a Halloween three continuing Rob zombie's Michael Myers or Laurie Strode story, I'm talking about a Rob Zombie version of season of the witch. Imagine what he could have done with that silver shamrock storyline. That's always been a project that I wanted to see come to fruition. A total Fanboy pipe dream, but still fun nonetheless. Just let that roll around in your brain for a little bit. Rob zombie's Halloween 3 season of the witch.....
I think the point of the TCSM remake was about the polarisation of US politics and how the failure of both sides to overcome their differences and work together leads them to miss the real treat. The problem is that it was possibly the most incompetent writing I have seen and so that message is just completely lost.

@@malcolmferguson4869 Also I liked how when they talked about White Noise and Brad brings back the topic of his or others' sitting positions that shows how bad a movie is. Same about him throwing the cup into the trash but in a different way
I would’ve put Turning Red and Strange World as the worst movies of 2022! Those movies are a big disgrace to Disney! Those movies are targeted towards children, they are worse than Avatar II, at least I can tolerate James Cameron!
Same
@@chasehedges6775 the Avatar hate is just pointless, the Disney animated movies that year are just downright cringe and disturbing!
Minions 2 was the other movie to make a reference to Don't Tase Me, Bro. Except there, the guy said Don't Cheese Me, Bro
Doug’s choice
Brad: Hmmmmm. Interesting choice. I gave it a B+ but I can see why you didn’t like it.
Brad’s choice:
Doug: What the hell is that?
Yess Doug thank you for justifying me not being impressed by Avatar 2. I was getting called out for not adoring it and I thought it was meh 😂
Annette was the Adam Driver movie you were thinking of.
Is Lloyd gonna release his list soon?
RIP
My friend and I watched Halloween ends together on peacock. Spoilers
We kept saying “put Micheal in a wood chipper” or “sink him to the bottom of the ocean like that girl from the old guard.” We weren’t expecting them to actually do something like that.
Jones and Walker could be the new Siskel and Ebert.
They definitely are, for sure
Losing weight irl writing it for a movie.. That's a prime example of Stanislavskiy method of acting
They already did a save the whales story Cameron it's called Star trek 4 the voyage home.
Too bad the message didn't take.
I remember getting so confused on who all the characters where in Jurassic World
There was no character in Jurrasic World. It was all cliches and archetypes
I tried watching it this weekend. When the kidnapping plot kicked in, I tuned out.

I curse Doug for making me want to get the Pinocchio Pauly Shore movie.......
The next Avatar is going to be Heart. Totally Captain Planet rules
Hopefully, we get more time spent on the children characters and actors
Its actually fire...Im not kidding.
"It was MAN! Yes, MAN!"🤣
😂😂😂. Always loved that joke
You have no idea how bad I need “if sonic can be subtle, what is Avatar doing” on a hoodie!!
The Texas chainsaw massacre reboot is awful it didn’t get the the original movie it being the fear of being out in the middle of Texas with no one who can help. Also the thing with the original protagonist in the original passed away all the way back in 2014 and it was very disrespectful with that and the school shooter thing.
My two favorite guys! (Aside from my hubby, of course 😁). I love it when Brad and Doug do reviews together! ❤️❤️
Oh god that Jeepers Creepers one was horrible lmao
6:40 What in the actual fuck? Breaking the hard reality Cameron barely maintains with people on fire for no fuckin reason? 😂
Texas chainsaw Massacre was a complete trainwreck
Halloween Ends was one of my favorite movies of 2022. Idc what anyone says the first death was hilarious and it was very satisfying haha.
An hour and a half that i need today. Oh yes.
For most of the year it was Disney's Pinocchio, but in December, I saw Grimcutty, and holy shit that movie is terrible.
That Adam Driver movie was called "Annette".
I remember watching Jurassic world domination with my family at home. We watched it for like 30 minutes just kinda silent. I think all of us thought the other enjoyed it so we kept watching it and then I got so bored I just said “this movie sucks!” And then everyone else was just agreeing so we stopped watching it
Avatar: The Last Dustbuster.
Haunted Skydiving? How about a haunted country line-dance routine
I love Doug's shirt
Avatar was one of the worst movies of the year? Hmm, I disagree, I enjoyed it
I think the point of the TCSM remake was about the polarisation of US politics and how the failure of both sides to overcome their differences and work together leads them to miss the real treat. The problem is that it was possibly the most incompetent writing I have seen and so that message is just completely lost.
Outside of tine stamps, which are in comments; we need more Snob & Critic at the movies
I miss you guys doing the midnight screening
The worst movie I saw this year was actually Death on the Nile.
Even as a fan of old detective stuff I found it absolutely insufferable
Murder on Orient Express(2017) was better
Fuck I’ll even take Glass Onion over it, and I didn’t even like that movie that much (thought it was just mediocre and way too “clever”)
15:55 the First Final Destination movie came out in 2000
I’d watch a mermaid movie with Pauly Shore as the lead given that it is live action and written by the people that did Deuce Biggalow.
The infinity cone is definitely up there with bat credit card that's for sure.
Pity we lost hopper back in 2017. I think craven was shortly before our after him that he passed as well.
Even though I don't like Lightyear, I kinda wish Samurai Jack ended that.
Avatar does nothing for me. The technology is great but so what-the story/plot is boring 😴 and overdone.
Style over substance at its finest.
The younger actors are pretty good in it tho.
another year, another list filled with half actually bad movies and half underrated movies from doug
Guess what - the creators of halloween ends are making a new sequel to the exorcist
Oh, so Doug has seen X and Pearl? 😁
2022 was both amazing and terrible for horror films. For every film like Terrifier 2 or Pearl we got a Halloween Ends.
@Harold Paulle tell us you were too big a baby to get through the movie without telling us you were too big of a baby to get through the movie.

One of the most overrated films ever
I can’t believe Amityville Thanksgiving ruined that title because man, so many great things you could do with that.
The worst films I’ve watched
1. 13
2. Monster high (I stand by that would still suck even if it wasn’t connected to the show)
Thor Love and Thunder was just okay, but Eternals from last year blew.
