frank howarth Hello Mr. Howarth! Maybe you could do a take on this but as more of a mobius strip (it's an interesting geometric form)... I just suggested this to Kyle as well, but you could beat him to it!
Amazing! Not only the final product, but the prep and jigs for cutting, glueing, clamping and turning. WOW!! If I didn't see it, I wouldn't believe it. You have my vote for winning the internet today!
What amazes me about your work is how prolific you are, and how many rabbit holes you are able to go down without getting stuck. Tremendous work ethic.
And I thought I could turn. I must have watched 1,000 UA-cam videos in turning but this has to be the ultimate. Who says turning is all about making bowls? Many thanks for such a masterpiece. Best wishes from Ireland.
Thanks Steve! It definitely was! I usually never hesitate when making cuts or doing a task but this one had me stopped in my tracks. hahah there was no going back after that cut.
I love the torus and the number of rings and segments, it would have sent me crazy well before I could have done that. I liked the way you came up with gluing it all together and the shaping on the lathe, just incredible.
I just started getting into fine wood works this summer. I've got a lot to learn, but this video inspires me to reach that level. Thank you. Amazing Piece!
I don't comment often but this was such a beautiful - and complex - piece that I simply had to applaud your work and pour some love your way!!! Just lining up all those segmented pieces for gluing must've been a pain in the a.., let alone mounting it in the lathe... Thanks for sharing!
wow. one of the coolest pieces of wood working I've seen on youtube. All of your stuff is, really. such a creative mastermind. You use a lot of sacred geometry in some of your pieces, and from the looks of a painting i saw at the end of your donut video, the egyptian alien with the mushrooms for pupils, i take it you may use some sacred plants for inspiration. Super inspired. I love the sacred plants, and sacred geometry and I am just buying my first tools now to get into woodworking myself. I am a dancer who has lived in New York City for the past five years and i just moved to LA last week, Sherman Oaks. I started watching Frank howarth last year and just felt a calling. Ive probably watched 3 or 4 hundred wood working videos, including most of yours and feel somewhat prepared/adequately educated enough to get started. Other than dance, I can see myself doing this very seriously. I cant wait to see the kind of art and function i can make with my own hands. I think I'm gonna buy a router, a circular saw, some chisels, hand saw, random orbital sander, some glue, finish, goggles, drill, jigsaw, and some clamps to get started. Any advice? Id appreciate it alot. Thanks Kyle
Absolutely amazing. That's all I have to say. I was surprised by how simple the final glue up was. I was expecting it would take more cuts to make the loop but now I see how it's simply offsetting half of each torus.
That's incredible! When I first saw the thumbnail and the title, I genuinely had no clue how you were going to accomplish this. It turned out to be simpler than I expected. That's so cool man. I'll bet you could sell that thing for a hot dollar.
@kyletoth watching your videos helps me deal with my anxiety and calms me down from panic attacks. The repetitiveness and the music is so soothing. So basically, thank you for making my day a little easier with your talent
Colleen O'Neill I am so happy to hear that I can help. I used to struggle with anxiety and the occasional panic attach so I can relate to what your saying. I wish you many more days like today! Thanks for reaching out! You made my day!
This is one of those videos that remind when where I'm really at in woodworking when I start feeling like hot shit lol. Great work dude, you should be immensely proud.
hey bro....sometimes i swear you torture yourself with the impossible! that is a beautiful piece of work! i would seriously send pictures of this to fine woodworking. you have done immaculate work there kyle!
Pff... this is SO easy... ...to watch... men... Kudos on your job.. I wouldn't have think something liek this was even possible... (yes with other materials, or by flexing wood...) but your job here... this might be a 1 of a kind piece. unique in the world.
I wasn't 100% certain but I sure thought I was correct when I believed you were crazy enough to try anything. Attempting and completing this masterpiece just confirms I was correct. Amazing.
Am I the only one silently screaming 'NOOOOO!' when you're cutting them in half even though I know it's going to turn out beautiful? Great work, brother.
I like your work so much . you are an artist . I'm from Iraq. I'm very interested in this work, but my society doesn't allow me to work like that. I wish you all the best
WOW! love the avatar costume! for some reason when you cut it apart and I could see that it was hollow that idea blew me away. thanks for the amazing inspiration! now I know what I need to make my wife for christmas!
Awesome..! Art and beautiful craftsmanship... The last video clip shows that it's also dangerous to handle the machines used for this project. This is also why I strongly encourage you not to let the pencil lying on the cross cut sled. Sooner or late the blade will get it flying around, could cost an eye. Take care and I'm really looking forward seeing more awesome stuff from you.
Nice! I like that you did not do a bunch of pattern in the segments, and left it all about the over all beautiful form
frank howarth Hello Mr. Howarth! Maybe you could do a take on this but as more of a mobius strip (it's an interesting geometric form)... I just suggested this to Kyle as well, but you could beat him to it!
Thanks Frank! Yeah this form is just so great that adding pieces would take some of that away
Amazing! Not only the final product, but the prep and jigs for cutting, glueing, clamping and turning. WOW!! If I didn't see it, I wouldn't believe it. You have my vote for winning the internet today!
I love watching your process. It's no nonsense, you don't over complicate, and the proof is in the finished product.
Thanks man!! I do like to keep it simple!
I even kept the "infinite cat turd" comment to myself.
Oops. : )
What amazes me about your work is how prolific you are, and how many rabbit holes you are able to go down without getting stuck. Tremendous work ethic.
Thats the part I love!!
And I thought I could turn. I must have watched 1,000 UA-cam videos in turning but this has to be the ultimate. Who says turning is all about making bowls?
Many thanks for such a masterpiece.
Best wishes from Ireland.
Thats what i'm saying! thanks for the kind words
Seriously stunning work. Making that cut at 4:50 after all that work must have been a tense moment!
I was thinking the same thing! I could hardly watch cutting those in half.
Thanks Steve! It definitely was! I usually never hesitate when making cuts or doing a task but this one had me stopped in my tracks. hahah there was no going back after that cut.
Artist, Genius, Artisan. There are probably a dozen other words to describe your skill and abilities. Perhaps wood whisperer is another good one.
Amazing piece of art! It belongs in art museum so many generations can enjoy. Great work!
I love the torus and the number of rings and segments, it would have sent me crazy well before I could have done that. I liked the way you came up with gluing it all together and the shaping on the lathe, just incredible.
From doubting your skill level to having such a magnificent finished product must be an amazing confidence booster. Great work, unbelievable.
Yes Yes it is! Thanks
This might be the most ambitious piece of wood art I've seen on UA-cam yet. Incredible, my friend.
I salute not only your terrific ingenuity, but your remarkable patience as well. Cool stuff, man.
Wow, incredible patience, woodworking skills, and video skills.
I turn and make furniture, but I've never made anything like that. The planning alone is impressive. Very well done, sir.
That's crazy man. You've got a crazy amount of patients and skill. Good job!
Your patience never ceases to amaze me.
I just started getting into fine wood works this summer. I've got a lot to learn, but this video inspires me to reach that level. Thank you. Amazing Piece!
Oh wow man, that's a lot of rubber bands, clamps and patience.
And a whole lot of awesome!!
beautiful piece . you took segmented wood art to a whole new level
I noticed the idea hit you with the second loop to have a spacer for the cut. Great process. Really creative and impressive!
I don't comment often but this was such a beautiful - and complex - piece that I simply had to applaud your work and pour some love your way!!!
Just lining up all those segmented pieces for gluing must've been a pain in the a.., let alone mounting it in the lathe...
Thanks for sharing!
Какое терпение надо,чтобы из мелких деталей сделать такую красоту!!!Золотые руки!
Unbelievable Kyle! I can see why you waited so many years to put this project into production.
That's really quite an impressive project. You gave me some good ideas of how to clap together oddly shaped pieces. Nicely done!
The best part is applying the finish. Always loving that pop!
Wow! Kyle, you are one of the most talented craftsmen I have ever seen. Amazing. You have just given me a great new idea.

Kyle, you're an artist in the truest form. I'm bing watching all your videos. Wish I had found them sooner. Keep up the good work.
Stephen Storm well thank you sir!!
Absolutely amazing. That's all I have to say. I was surprised by how simple the final glue up was. I was expecting it would take more cuts to make the loop but now I see how it's simply offsetting half of each torus.
Not one person in a million would ever figure out how you did that. It's mind bogglingly awesome.
That's incredible! When I first saw the thumbnail and the title, I genuinely had no clue how you were going to accomplish this. It turned out to be simpler than I expected. That's so cool man. I'll bet you could sell that thing for a hot dollar.

Major brass cajones for working on that rig that holds the small torus. Awesome job!
Just amazing, you must be the most patient guy on the planet !!
Very impressive stuff Kyle, you have skill and patience in equal measure
Dude. There are no words for how awesome this is.
Well thanks buddy
Another project that blows us away. Thank you.
Endlessly talented and creative...so amazing to watch.
Looks absolutely stunning, pride of place on the mantle piece.
looks great...i like how you you utilized the rubber bands/blocks to hold it together... pretty intuitive....
Dude. Legend level work man. I got really nervous when you were knocking the hot glued on blocks off with the mallet though.
Among the many things that you are, sir, you are also a great inspiration.
Wow, Thanks!!
This is not woodworking, this is freakin' ART man. Looks like a hanging sausage at a market, but it's art bro.
Dude, your 'elastic band clamping' is mind numbing :) Amazing video as always!
Superb execution again, Kyle. Your imagination continues to amaze.
Thanks Scott!!
Man! I sure hope you got paid for this colosal, gargantuan undertaking!! Looks like you spent a long time doing this.
That is a fantastically beautiful piece. $5100 for 100 hours work seems like a fair deal for buyer and seller. Beautiful job.
This is killer Kyle! I have no idea why this doesn't have a million views already. Great job.
Oh Kyle the things you make are very very special and interesting. Also stunning.
This is one of those videos that remind when where I'm really at in woodworking when I start feeling like hot shit lol. Great work dude, you should be immensely proud.
And I thought the original torus was sick. Amazing work! Also, can't wait for the triple torus...
Oh yeah!!
That is genuinely insane, and yet you make it look so easy. I love it!
Unbelievable, Kyle! I'm blown away.
That is simply incredible. You are a gifted craftsman/artist.
Thanks!!
hey bro....sometimes i swear you torture yourself with the impossible! that is a beautiful piece of work! i would seriously send pictures of this to fine woodworking. you have done immaculate work there kyle!

Creative clamping all around. I thought the first Taurus was cool, this is amazing!
That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! You are truly talented!
Quite simply stunning. You must be really good at geometry.....
I wasn't 100% certain but I sure thought I was correct when I believed you were crazy enough to try anything. Attempting and completing this masterpiece just confirms I was correct. Amazing.
haha I try it all! gust getting going
You are such an incredible artist, I always enjoy your videos!
Am I the only one silently screaming 'NOOOOO!' when you're cutting them in half even though I know it's going to turn out beautiful?
Great work, brother.
That was a hard step for me to too. I paused for a bit and said no going back
An absolutely amazing piece, the thought, planning and effort to produce the piece is beyond my comprehension. ;}
I think this might be the coolest thing I've ever seen
I like your work so much . you are an artist . I'm from Iraq. I'm very interested in this work, but my society doesn't allow me to work like that. I wish you all the best

Take care and I'm really looking forward seeing more awesome stuff from you.
I love how in the middle of this it's Halloween and you're an avatar character.
Michael Schuler hahah every year! Been an avatar for 6 years now!
Kyle Toth I remember seeing it on Instagram. Just cracked up when it made an appearance in the build video.
Kyle Toth did you track how many working hours you had into this? With glue ups I'm guessing total time has to be in the 2 week timeframe
LOL I just made the same comment about those two facts and then saw yours. that is great!
It was about 3 weeks
It also looks like a giant German sausage, which just makes it even more awesome!
andy bell The Great Never Ending Sausage.
***** All hail the holy eternal sausage!
Unbelievable! Wow. This is just amazing. Wonderful work.
Always inspiring work! Love the custom short pocket too!
Absolutely stunning piece of art.
Looks like an enormous amount of work went into this, but it looks incredible at the end. Weirdly it makes me hungry too..?

Simply amazing workmanship.
This was simply AMAZING to watch. Your work is stunning!!! ❤️❤️
@ 6:12 I just saw "wast of time" turn into a "work of art" beautiful at both the work and the art.
Well, at least 2016 produced one good thing. That's beautiful.
Awesome job man... This reminds me of the knot table!
Sooooooo Beautifull!!! That sure requires a lot of pacience! Thanks for sharing it!!!
