I really enjoyed your video on Men's clothing style selections.
TikTok misinformation about relationships between Men and Women is crazy 😧🤣. Women need to understand Men first before trying to get Men to do what they want with their money and lives and vice versa for Men. Men can't read the minds of ladies and neither can anyone else. I understand that physical conditioning and fitness is crucial for healthy living and relationships but so is having reliable family, friends knowledge and awareness of reality. Congratulations on her 700k subscribers 👏🎉.
I really respect Courtney Ryan for at least trying to help Men and Women out in promoting healthy relationships, positive mindsets and growth in individuals 🙏 ❤️. I'm a 24 year old single Christian virgin guy working as a teacher and counselor seeing unhealthy relationships in people occasionally despite being single myself because no sex before marriage. I've been watching Courtney's videos since 2021 so this lady's channel is really helpful especially on UA-cam and social media. This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

When have women ever made sense in their logic? That doesn't mean her advice isn't valid. If fact, I'd say the less something makes sense, the more women will desire it. Like asking a woman out on a date and she says no. What she really means is, "I can't be that easy, I must be pursued and desired. Keep asking, but in a different way. Win me over like a prize and I may say yes. Eventually." Then feminists say, "No means no". And guys, who are mostly binary in their decision making, are supposed to figure out this never ending mystery.

Hey Courtney random guy here. Stumbled across some of your videos and I decided it was time to just do better with myself. I saw your video on the shoes. I really like loafers and what I was wearing we're not hey dudes but you would have called them that. I took your advice and bought a pair of penny loafers that I really like in a dark brown. I also decided to go ahead and get a smartwatch since I was debating on getting one for work anyway. Makes my job a bit easier but I had also got a dark brown leather band for it. I also got a new brown leather belt. I was already wearing solid colored shirts with nothing on them. And slipped on some Lands Ends dark jeans. So I had all this on and went out to lunch with some family that was in town. Afterwards I stopped by the store to get some groceries and right away noticed I was getting some looks. One of the associates stopped in her tracks and asked if I needed any help. I told her with a smile I was good it's just the store got remodeled. It happened very quick but she checked me up and down then goes no worries didn't mean to startle you (she didn't) and then grabbed my arm and gave it a quick squeeze when she said that. Nice lady and she told me to let her know if I need any help. Walking away from that I was just like whoa that just happened for real! When I went to check out, one of the associates there also checked me up and down super fast. I've been watching these videos and spotted what to look for so seeing it happen for real was pretty cool. That being said I wasn't romantically interested but hey it's a start! 😅

Men don't have outfits, they have clothes, and important distinction. What many women fail to realise is that if men wanted to be stylish then they would be stylish without any input from women. Women are projecting when they see a guy who they think looks improperly dressed that it is simply a matter of him being ignorant of what is in fashion and what looks good on him. When the actual reason is that he doesn't care what people think of his clothing choices.

My biggest objection to wearing "nice shoes" out in public as opposed to more versatile shoes like running shoes, is that if anything ever goes wrong and you have to run, fight, help someone in need, etc, you start out at a huge disadvantage as most of the "nice shoes" are not made for any type of hard/fast physical activity. And personally with how crazy things are nowadays I would much rather be ready for that "one time" where things go wrong than look nicer on the other 50-100 times where everything was fine. Probably just being too cautious but at the end of the day it only takes that one time out being caught off guard to have drastic consequences for you or someone around you and it's hard to just ignore that so I can look nicer.

So... basically a jewelry. Yeah, hard pass - leave that to women. I hardly disagree on this topic - men in general tend to care more about practicality and an Apple Watch (or a Garmin, Samsung or whatever) is a lot more practical and functional. Wearing a classic watch is like riding a horse carriage in a world of EVs. It's just not functional anymore and is just an added weight. I also like girls that aren't overly obsessed with rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. A pretty girl would be pretty even without them. From elementary school to my 40s, every single time I've attempted to look good, improve my grooming, dress nicer, etc, I have ALWAYS gotten beaten up. Every single time. It always starts the same, getting shit thrown at me until I throw something back. Followed by the bullies saying, "hey, wanna fight?" And even when I backed away, I'd get jumped by 2-3 of them. Never, ever was it 1 on 1. My clothes would be ruined, my face and body bloodied, and hair ruined or torn out. Yes, this has even happened at bars with men in my age range attacking me yet again.

Fantastic video! As a dude really into fashion and style I do think a few tips should be taken with a grain of salt.
My favorite concept is learning the rules so you understand how to break them. The rule of thirds for example, while a great guideline, must not limit your experimentation with themes and styles. An oversized sweater, or tee can be paired with slim pants or sweats-shorts even. Dirty sneakers can be an intentional piece.
I say this because men’s clothing is limiting. There’s only so many outfits with a button up that appear interesting (especially if we all wear it). It’s about, expression, not always interesting women. Form fitting, while an awesome tip, might not always be the best for a given mood. Counter that with, the exact opposite! A small guy, not hiding the fact he’s small, a big guy not trying to mask his belly. Anything, if styled and considered, can enhance you. Which, I think goes a long way for attracting the right women. The super baggy coat and baggy white shirt wasn’t a bad outfit at all, but maybe lacked a short necklace, or messy hair or hat to compliment the baggy casual aesthetic.
I think men lack variety, which is why it’s hard to style ourselves. Women have infinite amount of artifacts with various different cuts. That being said, there’s a fun aspect to making the most of what we’ve got.
Oh and the Apple Watch, having a nice watch to compliment a really fancy outfit is dope. But sorry, it’s way too useful to put down. And if paired with a good band and watch face, even finish (ie. Stainless steel vs aluminum watch) it can actually look really good. Again, understanding why something works or doesn’t, to go with or against trends to express yourself.
Really great to have a woman give her opinion on how to style ourselves though! A lot of men’s styling content is bland and tries too hard to be “masculine” instead of authentic. Also, goes to show that, yes boys, styling yourself isn’t gay or too feminine.

Here's a big one that I would also add on to the list, which I've found hugely helpful in my own life: UNDERSTAND WHICH GARMENTS ARE YOUR STATEMENT PIECES AND UNDERSTAND HOW TO SELECT STATEMENT PIECES. This is important for a few reasons, but the biggest is that your statement piece is the basis for the rest of your outfit. A statement piece is generally going to be an accessory like a hat, but it could also be a bigger piece of the outfit like your shirt or jacket. I recently went to a charity banquet and my statement piece was a jacket I bought on sale at Joseph A Bank. It wasn't anything particularly unique or flashy, but I was wearing it on a central focal point of my body; that was the important part. The outfit I put together looked so good that my sister and father didn't recognize me at first.

I’m totally with the layers. But the rule of thirds is a no for me. Unless I’m wearing a suit I rarely tuck in my shirts anymore. I do like rolling up my button down shirts.

I wear an Apple Watch, but the only difference is it’s way more than just for looks. It’s something I actually use in my everyday life. I’m currently on a 60 day fitness streak and counting and it helps me keep track. Much rather not spend extra money for something that’s just going to be for looks, and won’t help me keep track of my fitness progress. It’s definitely going to take alot more than this to break my current streak, thanks

What would be helpful is to show outfits that combine the same type of style/texture. How would an "all tweed style" or an "all slick and shiney" type of outfit look? Understanding individual pieces is incredibly necessary, but how do you make a series of outfits that are cohesive and portray an overall feel?

Usually I agree with your suggestions. However, today it was 98 degrees in shade. There is absolutely zero chance I’d wear anything under a linen shirt or cook my feet in a closed leather sneaker or loafer.
Leather is only breathable compared to fake leather. But canvas shoes work much better for the summer heat.

    • @Dolph-Face
      @Dolph-Face 2 місяці тому

A linen shirt, as long as the material is light. Is actually perfect for extreme heat. At least in my case. I have LOTS of black tees, so last summer when it was especially hot in Portland, my cream coloured linen Kung fu jacket was a life saver. It kept me from getting cooked alive in most of my black tees as it was bouncing a lot of those Sundays off that my black tees would otherwise be absorbed, and it was also hella convenient because if it got a little bit chillier as night fell, I could easily close up the frog buttons and roll down the sleeves, there’s also a lot of reasons why I like to wear it whenever going out to the coast or to the river on a sunny day with friends. If it got soaking wet, it still remained lightweight as it didn’t retain a lot of water and it would dry off relatively quick. On especially hot days I had a long clean white linen hand towel dipped in cold water draped over the back of my neck and that was a game changer as well, on record breaking heatwave days you can also freeze the neck towel before you go out, wish I had known these things when I was younger, I am extremely sensitive to heat and also have sensory issues when it comes to a lot of different types of clothes.

The encore looks minimal and great (although the leather is a bit on the shiny side for me) but the metal covered holes for the laces in the other shoe really spoils the look. Having said that, I agree with many other opinions in the video.
