FHF Gear TAC MTN Rifle Case Review

Kevin has been trucking around his favorite rifle in this floating soft-ish case from FHF, and it seems like it may be the perfect solution for a trip Kodiak. It fits inside a hard case, and it has several other thoughtful features that make it more than just something to carry a gun in.

I just took mine to AK for a DIY Moose hunt with an airboat ride in. Rained almost everyday and the case provided more than adequate protection from the elements.

So now where do you put your pistol, binos, etc? I love the idea of this setup but seems to limit you only to your rifle and a few mags within your hard case.

Interesting point. There is a little bit of trade off here, for sure. There is room inside the FHF case for things like a pistol or binoculars.
