Soap throwed Yuri before him, thinking of him before his own life. He jumped down to save Roach in Cliffhanger in a similiar way, Soap was a hero. But we should not call Sandman, Grinch and Truck trash. I love Griggs and Soap more than them but these guys saved many lives including some GIGN members and hındereds of civilians. They didn't even hesitated while sacrificing themselvs for Price and Yuri. I think the real person who deserve respect is Yuri. He initially joins Makarov for his country, then faces betrayal. Later, he aligns with Nikolai's men, risking himself for Price and Soap, enduring close battles with them. Makarov kills his newfound friend Soap. Despite friend's death and all he's done, Price treats him poorly. Even with no obligation, he aids in an attack against Makarov. Ultimately, impaled on metal, despite wounds and mistreatment, he sacrifices himself to save Price. While this guy may not have a great personality or depth, just this single act is enough to love him. Despite being treated poorly and enduring hardships, he repeatedly sacrifices himself for goodness and heroism. For instance, when Soap is abducted by helicopter, he accepts staying behind without hesitation or questioning, not even knowing Price or Soap at that moment. In the end, he dies to save Price. Yuri is a true hero. A genuine hero.
I thought that probably Gaz will be the one who bites the dust, since he was around since the first new MW, but I thought Soap and Ghost won't die for sure cuz they were both introduced in the previous game. There is something else that bothers me as well. We have so many characters that didn't make appearance in MWII and MWIII campaigns. Where are Kamarov, Hadir, Al Asad, Victor Zakhaev?

Dimitri's death was stupid I think. In WaW, he was inevitble. Even Reznov made a joke about it. Then they just killed him off in Black Ops 1. I think he should have been inevitble character joek of CoD franchise. Imagine tesming up with uktimately old Petrenko in Black Ops 2.
I never saw Turners death coming and my sister thought that Daniels might die on her but he didn’t thank god. If Daniels died, I would have been crying for weeks or maybe years. I was so relieved when Turner came out of nowhere and saved him but I didn’t see Turner’s death coming
