honestly the campaign was dog water quality but the little details in some of the cutscenes was top tier. from mw2 to mw3 ghost learned to trust someone to do half the work it needs to be done to go back home safe and johnny was the one he trusted to do so, in the mw2 campaign ghost literally said that when the situation goes dark, he doesn't trust anyone, not even price, so when there was an active bomb he rushed to Soap body calling his first name, and then when they spred his ashes he called again his first name, price knew this and that's why he gave ghost a bump on his back before going away... you can see this if you look closely when ghost put the jar in the backpack before the screen turns black. honestly missed opportunity by them to introduce roach to the story and kill someone in the mw4 campaign, resembling the og modern warfares, where people died after the whole 141 was complete and all the characters had their personality "shown" to the players allowing them to "know" the full squad

Soap was literally way mor eof a leader in the OG trilogy. He literally lead the 141 after Price and felt like an equal to him, so it sucks to see him die AGAIN but it hurt more in the last Modern Warfare 3. The reboot should have honeatly kept him alive and just killed Laswell instead
This thing is a vicious circle, when we get the last Part of COD zombies reboot Lore, the whole shit is gonna restart and Soap will be alive again and will die again in hands of Makarov, over and over
What annoys me is this campaign did have good moments, the plane mission was interesting if a little lacking in gameplay, the stadium mission was interestingly done with the chaos and civilians, the strugggle of IDing terrorists etc (aside from the escort section) Overall it feels disappointing and unfinished. Ffuuk stretching this into two games

He died like a b*tch and he deserved a better and more honorable death than that. That was some OG mw2 Ghost death. Soap didn't even get a cutscene. Lazy writing and IW needs to do beter.
