I always saw the Rambo Knife as a ground down chunk or chopper from a jeep's leaf spring somewhere with a temper cycle thrown in. Looks like it was a fun, quick project for you.
1st off, thanks for the honest title: Engineering instead of the dishonest Forging. 2nd, There is 1 error in the final blade: The 1980s Rambo knives did not have a full tang, they had hollow handles with "survival gear" in them.

That’s exactly what the Rambo 4 knife is, he makes it before he goes on the mission. This one is closer to Rambo 3.
