Nice. In that process did you soften it a bit? I'm not a knife maker mind you, but aren't files very hard/brittle? Or is it a case the hardness of the file is just fine for a knife like this with a fine edge? Anyway, nice little project that recovers something someone else would likely just throw out.
At the beginning of the video, I anneal the file to make it easier to work with, and then after processing, I harden and temper it to the desired hardness.

Потому что люди больше любят смотреть когда нож делаешь из напильника, рессоры, пилы и тп, соответственно будет больше просмотров. А за счет просмотров Коссу выгоднее сделать нож из напильника чем из порошковой стали
Из напильника хорошое ножы получается даже гвозде можно рубить нажом из напильника если конечно хорошо закалить и от пустит и заточить не слишком острым углом то будет рубить даже арматуру и кромка не

Knife making is good but it is thicker it. It must be heated and forged to thin sheet and the cut to knife.
