Love mine. I also have the same issue with the zippers not always wanting to make it around the corners but overall the bag is so beautiful who cares lol.
Loving the videos. Do you think that it will eventually collapse a little on its self, kinda like the gr heritage bags?It looks pretty big new while it’s rigged.
@@ayadmanaa3938 thanks! Yes, I do believe it will break in significantly with extended use. Already starting to see it in the straps and the front pocket that I use all the time.
That tracks. The CTB26 is definitely on the large side for EDC. The main reason I didn’t order the CBB22 is no dedicated laptop compartment. You carry a laptop or large tablet often?
@@Pack_roam for work travel I carry a laptop and a iPad and I will use a backpack with a laptop compartment or the Evergoods transit Briefcase. For leisure travel I usually just carry an iPad so using the CBB22 will work fine. It’s certainly not perfect for every occasion, but it seems to meet most of my needs most of the time.
@@kellymorast6460 It certainly looks fantastic. Lack of separate device compartment is a no-go for me though. I rarely carry a backpack without my work laptop or my 13” iPad. I still kind of want one though 😁
It is cool and a beautiful bag. It just doesn’t seem like the most practical travel bag. It’s heavier and the water bottle pockets seem like a downgrade. But damn it looks good.
I don't get the hate for the water bottle pockets. Maybe it doesn't need two, but unless they add yet another zippered compartment it's just a "muh asethetics" complaint. This is more of an expedition bag. I mean their trailer for this release was 2 guys on their dirt bikes out West in USA. This isn't an EDC bag imo. It's a heavy duty do anything bag.
I have the same bag in camo and after a few weeks of use my biggest gripe are the water bottle pockets. HUGE miss imo on EG side. If you're ever caught in any decent amount of rain the water bottle pockets will fill up with water and without a drain hole will literally turn into two cups of water, even with them somewhat closed. This has become somewhat irritating. Also pretty sure the magnets will wear out over time, I feel like buttons would've worked better.
Hey great video. If you want to grow your channel you should not disable likes/dislikes. Dislikes are invisible anyway and by disabling them UA-cam's algorithm will push your video to the bottom of results. You are really hampering your search results, especially doing a bag like this which is in such demand. You'd likely have 10x the views if you hadn't disabled likes/dislikes mate. Just a tip.

@@julianp.2840 lol, yep… that’s pretty much my position as well 😂
I would love to have one but hard to justify multiple CTB26 bags.
That is true. Eventually I’ll sell one of mine. Most likely keep the Griffin, sell the standard.

I have both the CBB22 and CTB26 Griffin bags. Both are very nice bags but I find the CBB22 much better to carry as a EDC.

@@ChaseWatkins. I agree. It is less practical than the original, but love the aesthetics!

@@Karif-dk9iv interesting. There’s no drain for the water bottle pockets? I did not notice. That is a miss.

@@amalayum Thanks! And thanks for the heads-up. Not sure why that was off for that video.
Water bottle pockets is a deal breaker. Sacrificed too much visual aesthetic for functionality
Unless, and this is controversial, you prefer bags without water bottle pockets anyway. Like me 😁
