Ironicaly, one of his biggest gatekeeper is his creator himself XD (Just compare Mario Galaxy 1 (made by another developpers under Miyamoto lease supervision) and Mario Galaxy 2 (Made by Miyamoto deeply invested in it))
I thought that this would be important information to share. 35% of all ocean microplastics come from clothing/textiles, mostly polyester, but also acrylic and nylon as well. This is largely due to clothes made of these materials being washed, which causes these clothes to quickly erode, with the microplastic fibers entering the water system and eventually the sea. Ocean Hero is a great search engine that we can use to help clean up larger plastics before they disintegrate into microplastics.

To be fair, Mario Mix is not a hard DDR game at all. Most of the songs on the highest difficulty do not rate above level 7 (level 11, if you're using the new scale). The hardest song is Bowser's Castle, which is like a level 9 (13 on the new scale). It's nothing like modern day DDR where the highest difficulty song is currently a blistering level 19 on the new scale. Even back when this game came out, it was incredibly easy compared to its PS2 counterparts.

I have the game, and it’s not that hard. Felt like they dumbed down the difficulty because it’s a Nintendo game. I remember being very disappointed after I beat it on very hard. The fact that you have to play through it on easier difficulties also makes it even less enjoyable, since you feel like you’re playing at baby difficulties, and you don’t get to experience the story or songs for the first time any other way.
Though I’m not saying Jaiden isn’t physically fit, I assume she probably is, but I don’t think you have to be to beat this game. There are so many way harder songs on other DDR games released before Mario DDR that actually require real stamina and skill.
So yeah, not to diminish Jaiden’s ability or fitness level, more like we can’t really determine it based on this game.
This game was an enormous part of my childhood. Me and my siblings would actually fight over the pads whenever we brought it out, to the point where my parents wouldn't bring it out very often. 10/10, would dance again.

YES! My sister and I played this ALL THE TIME as kids (we had a small game library)! Also, you take that back! The lava level song is great.
Mario Mix wasn’t necessarily “forgotten”, it was just brought into the Bemani fold through it’s unofficial Hottest Party series. If anything, if you wanted a MUCH more difficult “Mario Mix” then HP1 was most definitely your ticket there as that was it’s official sequel. And it spawned 3 games in the US before they finished converting it to have near feature parity with the arcade game.

I'm so glad you recognize how good the music is. As a kid, I unlocked everything in DDR Mario Mix, turned off the announcer, used my DVD recorder to record all tracks, ripped the DVD to my computer, trimmed out just the songs, and exported them to MP3. Those files were really hard to find otherwise, so I had to do it myself, and that OST was completely worth it.
That dedication is so admirable, kudos xD

Oh god I remember this game. Years ago my sister Kelcie got this on her 16th birthday or something from her mom. Not gonna lie as odd as the story and gameplay is the music slaps. The songs for DDR Mario Mix are very catchy and very good.

My Gamestop had a tournament for this game on release day, but I guess they didn't know the game only had beginner difficulty when first starting. It became the least impressive DDR tourney with a good number of our higher level local players being forced to play twinkle twinkle little star on beginner which was pretty hilarious. I ended up winning a copy of the game though!

I thought that this would be important information to share. 35% of all ocean microplastics come from clothing/textiles, mostly polyester, but also acrylic and nylon as well. This is largely due to clothes made of these materials being washed, which causes these clothes to quickly erode, with the microplastic fibers entering the water system and eventually the sea. Ocean Hero is a great search engine that we can use to help clean up larger plastics before they disintegrate into microplastics.

This is a lovely game. I remember crying my eyes out in laughter when watching ProtonJon's stream of it years ago. Now we have a beautiful animation from Jaiden of the sheer absurdity that is Mario busting out dance moves.

So that plus and minus thing was probably the delay in Millaseconds guitar hero has a similar function because they want the note sound and when you hit the notes to be similar so it actually feels like you're playing song I feel like that is the same thing but instead of audio delay I think it's purely visual or it could just be both combined into one
