This song was made to show the critics they knew how to rock, after there 3rd album the critics had said they had lost there ability to rock, the 3rd album was more on the acoustic side, so this is Zeppelin giving the critics the middle finger. Great reaction :)
Yes, please keep Zeppelin as your biggest playlist, lol! YOU will be happy , and so will your devoted Zeppelin fans here! There's still PLENTY good stuff for u to "fangirl" (or not, if you have the will power, lol) over. "Achilles Last Stand" from 1979 is a great example of the "older" Zeppelin u were talking about checking out. "Trampled Under Foot" from 1975 is another VERY high energy song , the kind you said you love. Lots of Bonham AND John Paul Jones on keyboards on that one! Enjoy the Journey, Ola!
They have fun performing this song, used to open concerts, & getting the crowed in the mood to Rock & Roll. Everything they did is amazing, not just suggestions you are given.
Hey, although this live performance is iconic and I was fortunate to be at that show at the Garden in 1973, you really need to even if it’s just on your own crank up the original studio version if you want to hear great vocals! Roberts voice two years earlier before it became road worn is something you need to hear on this song! In my not so humble opinion, it blows away this live version. ❤️😊
Kashmir from Celebration day is epic, it features John Bonham's son Jason Bonham on drums. Another recommendation would be No Quarter from this same MSG concert, but don't react to the shorter 3 minute version. The full version is 12 minutes long and has one of Jimmy's ear candy of a guitar solo.
Sweetheart, it makes me smile to see how you light up when Jimmy Page plays, just as I and my friend Jennifer had years ago, ecstatic we had scored 2nd row...able to watch Jimmy play guitar like no one else ...and he would flash one of those cute smiles and we just melted! How I wish you could have been there, to witness and hear, THE BEST band of all time!
By 1972/ '73, Led Zeppelin were clearly the biggest band in the world and were selling millions of records worldwide... but they were also an enigma - they didn't do press or TV appearances... their pictures were no longer on their records... They wanted their music to be taken seriously. Their manager Peter Grant did not allow any cameras to film or record them in concert... the rule was simple: if you wanted to see Led Zeppelin live, u had had to buy their concert tickets. As a result, Zeppelin fans were obsessed w/ the band and bought their concert tickets in droves... Even The Rolling Stones could not compete w/ Led Zeppelin... They would outsell The Rolling Stones in the 70's by a 3-to-1 ratio (both ticket and record sales) ... but The Rolling Stones were more favorable in the media and press, appearing on TV and magazines. This NYC concert at Madison Square Garden in 1973 was the last show on that tour and Led Zeppelin were tired and not in the best form onstage... It was filmed for a Led Zeppelin concert movie 'The Song remains the same'... but Jimmy Page felt that the footage and performance quality was not good enough. It wasn't until after singer Robert Plant was seriously injured in a car accident in 1975, when they decided to revisit the movie... With Led Zeppelin unable to tour in 1976, they completed and released the concert movie and it captured the band's live concert experience for the first time for everyone to see.
You should do Kashmir or Achilles Last Stand at Knebworth 1979 when they in their thirties before jumping to Celebration Day when they in their sixties.
Regarding the lyrics, The Book of Love was a rock song released in 1957. The Stroll was a song released in 1958. There was also a dance called The Stroll.
I've been there, Madison Square Garden not this show, as they looked out into the crowd on the floor. I was straight back about halfway up in the stands for Queen in 1980.
Hi Ola Back 1985 1986 ain't that some concert tours of course it's John Bonham pass they have a different drummer add bass player the drummer and bass player from Roberts band What I'm trying to say they did some excellent performances cats look up Robert Plant Jimmy Page you'll find a bunch of music. Grait to see you Ola❤😊.
Rather than jump all the way to Kashmir, I would suggest the opening track on their "Houses of the Holy" album, "The Song Remains the Same." It's absolutely epic! 😁
This live version is about 1000 times looser than the super tight & concise studio/album version, but its still really great & epic...this whole show is amazing as youve realized & discovered by now....u should do a reaction to the whole "four" album tho, just because youve heard so many of the songs already from this show & these live vids, but also because its a *must* for every zeppelin fan, which u definitely, definitely are now, inviously, duh, lol. Anyway, Great reaction:)
Pls watch the film The song remains the same. What is your musical background? I've noticed that guitar necklace. 63yr old german, here. We've watched 'em live in Bremen. Half a year before Bonzo passed away. I just had my driving liscence. Me, my brother and 2 classmates of him.
Ha **Olavity** ya crack me up girl i had to pause right after ya said ya are doing the "Trying NOT to **FanGirl** Challenge" cuz i am placing My **Bet** that ya are going to **Lose** that **Challenge** like right away!!! How can ya NOT **FanGirl** over these guys! **LuvzYaGirl** Ahahaha k goin in to see what happens cuz i already know for a fact i would totally freakin **Lose** it! heh Ya **ROCK!!!**
Why not check out some of Robert Plant's other stuff......he had a band in the 80's called the Honeydrippers and did some solo stuff after that......not as good as Zeppelin but some cool tunes there
If you look again, you might notice Jimmy's hair gets a lot longer at one point, then shorter the next. Why? Because the band were disappointed with much of the live footage and so re shot close ups of the band six months later on a London sound stage.
OHmygosh **Olavity** i **Hope** you will also check out **Kashmir** Live at **Knebworth 1979** i am positive no one will mind at ALL if you do both the **02** one & that one as well also Please check out them doing **What Is And What Should Never Be** Live at **Royal Albert Hall 1970** it is **OurJimmyMagicalWizardBabez** **Birthday** & his **Mum** made the **Sweater Vest** he is wearing for him as a **Gift** OMG Sooo freakin **Cutie** in that & **Robert Plants** performance will **Blow You Away** also **Trampled Underfoot** Live the one that says 9:01 mins OH man & also OMG one of THE **Sexiest** & MOST **KickAss** performances of **In My Time Of Dying** Live at Earl's Court 1975 12:24 mins of just **Pure Ecstasy** & **MyBeautifulJimmyPageWizardBabe** is Mmm YUM on **Steel Guitar** & oh so freakin **Gorgeous** doing all his **Wizardy Magic** in that one! & once again **Robert Plant** will Blow ya away! Thank YOU for such **Fantastical Reactions** & for being in such **MadLuv** with them like I am it truly makes my **Heart Brighten** to know that younger generations are keeping **The Best Band EVER To Grace This Planet** ALIVE!!! **ManyPixieHugz&Luvz** **RockON!!!**
I'm just curious, why are you trying not to "fangirl" so much? Personally, I really miss seeing you just being your sweet fangirl self. Zep's been affecting us like that for decades, just let loose like you used to! ☮️❤️
Best ever led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin Is The Best 💯, Great Reaction Sweetheart ❤
Thanks for picking my favorite band since 1969

Love this song and she's absolutely beautiful ❤️

Greatest Rock Band in the world. No one comes close to what this band did in 12 years
Jeez, Not rock band, Band ?.
I love how much you love Jimmy. You're not alone haha. Please keep doing Led Zeppelin videos!
Vous êtes délicieusement rocky... 😀😊👍...❤
Led Zep, légende, top of the top... For ever.. ❤
They have fun performing this song, used to open concerts, & getting the crowed in the mood to Rock & Roll. Everything they did is amazing, not just suggestions you are given.

How can 4 so talented humans find each other.Universal
Awesome times 1,000!!!!
OLA is a beautifu Led Zeppelin Fangirl i. Iuv Her Style Fashion and Energy!!!
Classic opener, not as sweaty as later in the set. Robert's voice needed a song or two to get warmed up. Great Reaction!
Your positive smile through these reactions makes it so worth watching! 😊
Love this song. Thanks for reacting!
Great reaction once again 😊! And yes ‘Kashmir’ from ‘Celebration Day’ is a must!
One of the best opening songs ever. Saw them in 1975 and they started the same as this. In 1977 they had it in the encore. Worked there too.
One of my favorite songs of any genre.
Awesome show opener , go's right into Celebration Day.

The lyrics are refferances to old rock songs that influenced them as younger ppl

Wow, Ola, you made it a solid 4 seconds before fan-girling; Congradulations !!
Great opener for that concert film, for another do Heartbreaker live at Earl's Court 1975, Jimmy is a monster! Enjoy. 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶🔥

The outro was the intro to Celebration Day. Great reaction, thanks.

You,my dear, remind me Soo much of my very first true love ❤

Check out Achilles Last Stand live at Knebworth 1979. One of their best!
You should do Kashmir or Achilles Last Stand at Knebworth 1979 when they in their thirties before jumping to Celebration Day when they in their sixties.
Fan girl all you want! Let loose!
You have to try " In my time of dying" by Led Zeppelin. The studio version is the best. Such a unique song, you won't believe it!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Do all their live performances!
❤❤❤
The opening tune for the Song Remains The Same movie, sounding just how it should sound...
I think the best version of Kashmir is live version from the 1979 Knebwoth live concert.

💖💖🙌🙌👏👏👋👋
They should have turned up the volume on Robert Plant's microphone.
1st! Nice pik girl ☘️🇺🇲
Jimmy Page is awesome!
Be the first to react to the 2007 “Celebration Day” final reunion concert with Jason Bonham on drums. “Black Dog” and “Kashmir” are epic!
Just for 1 day I wanna wear the Jimmy Page outfit, lol
Look at Pages lapel on his costume, there's a little naked human being hanging from it. Like some kind of tiny voodoo doll. Lol!

Well you made a good attempt, but the fangirl definitely showed through. Not to worry though it's been happening for decades.
Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Deep Purple the holy triad of rock music🤘
You're so young sweet and innocent to be hearing this for the first time. For me? I was neither of those things.
This is Zep man!!!!❤
Fucking hell. I'm a straight guy but even I can think of things to do at Robert Plant for enjoyment.
Why not check out some of Robert Plant's other stuff......he had a band in the 80's called the Honeydrippers and did some solo stuff after that......not as good as Zeppelin but some cool tunes there

I like the recording much better because lacking of a rhythm guitarist.
