Sweetie pleassse don’t apologise for this whole video being about your faith. If people don’t like the video they can switch off I am not Christian but I always sit through your whole videos but it’s because I choose to. Don’t apologise for being you and sharing your interests. This is your channel and your life 💗✨
I love that you started a Christian book club. It’s super refreshing and I think we all need to get in the word of God. Will you make videos when you start reading books for the book club? I can’t wait and so excited!! 💕
Yay! I have your “dark academia” video on my watch later playlist because I want to learn more about what it even is! 😅🙈 also very interested to see how I like it in comparison to The Silent Patient 🙌🏼
I am not religious, in the slightest, but I do think it's interesting to hear you talk about the Christian books that you read. To me, it's just another perspective, and while I probably wouldn't read any of those books, I still enjoy your commentary on them. Also when you were talking about Sherlock Holmes and tripping over your words you said "are y'all hearing this?!?" and I completely laughed out loud. You are hilarious.
Would love to see more nonbookish content from you! You should always film what you feel like filming. 🥰 I’m reading through the Bible this year too! Crawdads has such a shocking ending! 😮
Aw thanks so much, Liv ☺️ And yay!! You’re prob doing way better than I am 🙌🏼 & okay, I love a surprise ending! I didn’t know it had a plot twist, that makes me excited 🤪
I always love watching your videos, thanks for sharing! I'm so excited for the Morning Revival bookclub and I've been wanting to read Mere Christianity for awhile now, so now it the perfect opportunity.
Thanks so much for all the great Christian book recommendations. I have a resolution to read more Christian non fiction so this really helps me. Just to help you out Hercule Poirot is pronounced Her-kewl Pwar-row. I’m mildly obsessed with him. X
Greenlights is on my 2021 list too! Also, Crawdads is my favorite book! It’s incredible. If you have the chance, listen to the audiobook. It definitely elevates the story. So excited to see what you think of it!
I have heard a few people say Where the Crawdads Sing was too slow for them, and a few have DNFd it...but most LOVE IT. It was picked for my IRL book club or I’d have never picked it up, I didn’t want to read it and didn’t think I’d like it...and then LOVED IT. 5 stars and was my top book from last year! I hope you love it (and I think you will).I also have The Inheritance Games and I’m so looking forward to it. The Hate U Give is SO GOOD!! Get to that one for sure!! It’ll hold up to the hype.
I love your sweater!! I’ve been meaning to read Mere Christianity forever, so I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying it and it’s been easy to understand! Omg I’m so excited that you’re going to read emma, I hope you love it!💕 and I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the hunger games prequel too- I know so many people hated it but it was one of my favorite books from last year🙈
Thanks Kaat! Target 🙌🏼 & that’s good to hear that you loved the Hunger Games prequel! I felt like no one really did so I’ve been super hesitant to read it 😬 I mean, I want to love it, that’s one of my favorite book series ever 👏🏼
I've missed you so much. Your videos are the best. I want to read more Agatha Christie novels this year. The Sherlock Holmes collection is good. I read Emma after you mentioned it in your last video. I love Jane Austen's writing style and enjoyed the story but didn't love the characters. It was a pretty good book though. I love listening to you talk about your faith. It doesn't matter that our beliefs differ. You've created a family-like community here. We genuinely care about and love you as a person and enjoy getting to learn about you. You should never feel like we need to be thanked or apologized to for listening to you. It's our pleasure to watch your videos. How is school going?
I should reread Mere Christianity. it's been about 15 years, but I remember loving the entire thing! I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on Where the Crawdads Sing. I had also heard all good things about it, but then my mom read it and said it was really sad. I wasn't in a place where I wanted a sad book at that time, and I've just been a little wary of it since. I red Murder on the Orient Express last year . I didn't realize it was a ways into the series until I started it, but it didn't matter too much. My understanding is that his name is pronounced "air cue-l", but I don't speak French, so I'm not positive.
Really gotta read some more Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Also wanting to check out more of Edgar Rice Burroughs, as I've enjoyed all of his "Barsoom" works, thus far.
I actually did have very mixed thoughts on Where the Crawdads Sing and I think I might've enjoyed it more if there wasn't so much hype around it. I found it a bit slow and thought that the ending was predictable, but the writing is beautiful.
Just wondering if you’ll consider uploading your live shows to IGTV after theyre over?!💗 I’m from Australia so I don’t think I’ll be able to watch live but I really want to hear everyone’s thoughts
Oh and another question!! I’m just curious and would love to hear your thoughts on the new Sarah J Maas book. I’ve chosen not to read the newest book, just personal conviction & I did feel uncomfortable reading some of the previous ones too. Plus after hearing some people’s reviews I’ve decided it won’t be helpful for me. (But obviously that’s just me & my conviction! It won’t be the same for everyone) would be really interested to hear what you think ❤️
@@MadeByElissa I definitely know what you’re talking about & I do also share in that conviction! I honestly skip those pages, which I’m now learning that I’ll prob have to skip a lot of ACOSF going off what I’ve heard so far about the amount of hot & heavy scenes. It’s the equivalent of fast-forwarding through a sex scene in a movie for me! There’s usually nothing super vital to the overall plot revealed in scenes like those, so I just skip ‘em! I do love me a romance, but def not the adult/erotic ones!
You should read my novels 'Castle Lochwind Savage Bloodline the Coming and the Sequel Castle Lochwind Savage Bloodline the Shifters! I'm a new author working on the third to make these a Trilogy! Thanks
Was happy to see a faith based book club. I went over and followed. other follow me as well and i will follow you. This will be cool! BTW the link for goodreads did not work for me but i will look for the name.
I gotta comment and say, I didnt love Where the Crawdads Sing. It was ok, but I didnt think it was worth the hype. I have heard others say the same thing. I didnt get it.

I am also SO excited about The Maidens! The Silent Patient was absolutely amazing 🙌🏻

School is stressful as always, but I’m kinda getting used to it now lol 🤪
@@MackenzieLane Good luck. Never forget that you're a smart, strong woman. You're going to do great.
I'm hoping to read Forgiving What You Can't Forget very soon,
I have very high hopes for it, I just know it’s gonna be sooo good 🙌🏼
I’ll follow the Christian book club! And maybe even try joining in. I definitely need more Bible reading in my life.
C.S. Lewis is my fave! And Tozer is great. Great selection!
So excited for the readers club! I already read one Christian book a month but I would love to be able to read with others and discuss them 💕
Yes, same! I’m really looking forward to the discussions!
Do you think there will be a gilmoreathon happening this year? If so, i can't wait 🤗
