    I highly recommend this way of eating for weight loss. I've tried every diet out there for weight loss and this is the only thing that worked

      Same here. It's the only diet I know (and I've tried so many) that allows me to not go hungry yet still lose weight quite quickly, and without cutting out more than 200 calories a day. And it's the only way of eating I've found that allows me to not feel bloated or tired after eating. Some of the weight loss is due to reduced inflammation in the body I think.

    That’s the problem... you’re looking for evidence form conventional science/research which you won’t find. If you want to learn why food combining should be done by all humans, you’ll need to delve into traditional Chinese medicine. These “rules” like everyone calls them, were created because that’s how our bodies function

      She's trying to be unbiased. That's what "conventional" science is, the search for truth without bias.

      And Ayurvedic medicine … which has been around for THOUSANDS of years, has traditionally advocated food combining all the while, and hasn’t needed “science” to know that it works.

    I found Food combining for health by Doris grant in 1998 and it got me to optimum health, had loads of energy and never felt hungry. For 20 years I stayed almost the same weight. I've tried IF, Atkins, I actually gained weight doing atkins cause of all the meat and cheese - calamity 😂. If you're fat you should try this diet. I've modified it down the years so that it feels better for me. Eg. I eat fruit with yogurt and boiled egg for breakfast. Have a carbohydrate/starch lunch and protein plus vegetables dinner. No fruit at dinner. Avocado/banana on toast is permitted. The adherents of this diet are long lived. Doris Grant, June Brown and Sir John Mills all lived into their 90s. Helen mirren also follows this diet and she's looking good for her age.

    I bet you anything that she hasn't even done it and/or if she has she did it in a half ass sort of way so she didn't get the results. Which you will get very quickly if you eat in this way for just a couple of days alone.
    I don't know where she got the idea that there is a bunch of rules to it because there is not. There are some, and if you would just adhere to them for a few days you will see the results rather quickly. This chick is way off. Taking your meals in this way can readily fix a number of problems you might be having. I say do it! Do it right! And you will get the benefits in short order. Not a joke!!!

      She is spot-on and not way off. The weight loss and health benefits seen in food combining is generally the fact that most people who start it are also starting to eat healthy for the first time in their life. It makes sense that they lose weight, have good health results and feel better. They aren't eating processed crap and sugar.

      That food combining concept is not designed for "weight loss"! It's designed for people with digestive issues which eating in this way will quickly resolve. You may lose some weight in the process, but it's not some kind of weight loss diet. I'm telling you right now, she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
      She appears to me to be both confident and dumb at the same time. And that research she calls herself doing to support her biases is really "for the birds."
      Food combining, when done right (which is very easy to do) works tremendously well. It is one of the best things in the world you can do for yourself. Why people rail up against these kinds of things is beyond me 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 It's actually kind of suspicious if you ask me.

      So do I. I think my food digests better and doesn't sit as long, adding on pounds, AND I experience less bloating

    Somersizing is good combining and it’s the only “ diet” that has ever worked for me or my son.

      Is it? I thought fats were broken down in the small intestine in an acidic environment. The starch is also broken down in the small intestine I think which needs alkaline medium

      Animal protein is different from protein in nuts because it is so dense. Joel Fuhrmann explains this quite well.
