Well Cori, you can disregard my recent comment about where to find hanging paper clips. I figured, after looking endlessly for them on sale, I would have to make my own. Now, I learn that is actually what we do. Thanks for showing me how to curl them. You’re the best, Cori.
The time difference between the US and Norway means that I get to see your videos early in the morning - so I grab a cup of coffee and sit down and enjoy the "task of the day". I have already made the matchbook - but now paper clips will be produced. It's so nice to be reminded that you can make a little extra once you've been inspired. Thank you so much Cori for sharing! Hugs from Helen
😂oh that's the sort of thing that happens to me! I'll be searching for something and it'll be stuck to my back 😂. I have so many lonely paper clips waiting to be decorated! Love these ideas, thank you 😁. My paper clips are jumbo ones and I can just about manage to curl the sturdy wire around.Oh, I'm always inspired by the person I'm making it for, one reason I find it hard to make something generic.💖
Love all of the paper clips but my favorite is the mini cluster on the clip with the curls. I purchased some sewing charms that came with one of those curled paper clips. Thanks to you, I now know how to make my own!
I've finally found the perfect channel for creating crafts that I can understand and follow. Definitely subscribed to your channel. Thank you for the inspiration and easy to follow instructions. Sometimes it's hard for me to follow most instructions, but you make it possible for me to do these, I am so excited to craft once again.
I’m in catch up mode, Cori. Yesterday, time got away from me with appointments away from home. Now I’ve been able to enjoy another episode of this wonderful series! Thank you! 😀💞
Hey, Love the ideas you are sharing and thanks for sharing them. You showed how to make one type of paperclips. Do you have videos showing how to make the other styles? I am especially interested in the double paperclip. ADEBO ☺😊☺
Ahhh, that's it! I said I would show how to make that, then I forgot what I said I would show! I'm writing it down now and I'll show it in tomorrows video.
PS, I have a video going way back that shows the tissue and book page covered paper clips. I have another, more recent video that shows how to make the side pocket paper clips. If you search "paper clip" in my channel I believe they come up.
Hello Pat! Yes, I think back at the very beginning of my videos there is one on how I cover composition books with napkin. I'll apologize in advance for the poor video quality. I am definitely a work in progress!
I show how to do that in another one of the videos, at the end. Shoot. I don't know which episode that is in. BUT, Tracie Fox from LoveJunkJournals shared it years ago. If you search curled paper clip in her channel, I'm certain you'll find it.
This batch has sold, but I'm hoping to make more this summer, after school is out. They take me longer than I thought to personalize, so I won't have time to take on more until late June.
I really like your ideas ! Is there a certain amount you suggest we make of each item ? I also love the lace cover you made, when I get time I may try to make a mini as I do not have much lace and things as you do ! Thanks
I'm so not the person to answer this! I don't (generally) mass-make anything. I'm very much a make-as-I-go person. If you intend to sell your journals, maybe make 5 or 6 of each? If not, maybe two or three, just so you have some on hand to remind you how you made them. For the idea book we'll make later this month, you'll only need one of each and.... some scrap paper :)
What kind of paper do you use for your journals? I love your work so much!!!!!! Im a teacher too and guess what I will be doing this summer between pd classes😍
Thank you and just amen! There is a lot of PD this summer, which is good, but I also want a chance to recharge... and paper crafting does that for me. Most of this project has been done using the Tim Holtz paper pad, but I also use heavier coffee dyed copy paper and coffee dyed tracing paper very frequently. I hope the remainder of your school year goes quickly and smoothly.
Thank you. I had made some of the mini journals and listed them in my Etsy shop. I will list more as they become available, but it won't be until late June because of the end of the school year.
You are such a great teacher! In all you videos I learn something.
Love the projects today

WOW! Paper clips are definitely NOT all created equal. Thank you for this tutorial especially for bending them.
Sweet creativity!!!
Super cool

Thank you very much for all the tips. The altered paperclips and mini journals are fantastic. 😍 Love the vintage ephemera, they are very fun.👍
Beautiful work and great ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Great video, Cori!!! Thanks again for all that you so generously share with us!!
Debra from Attic Lane! I will go look at her videos. Well, later. After I'm done teaching for the day. Thank you.
Thank you very much for taking time to personalize the journals. You are great.👍 The vintage ephemera you showed are super cool.😍
Another great video😊
Oh my gosh that little book is absolutely adorable!!! Great job!
I love the idea of using fabric instead of paper on the foldover part of the clip. Oh, and congratulations on 7000+ subscribers, you are amazing!

@@CoriDahmen I will be looking forward to seeing it, thanks, ADEBO 😊 😊 😊
I wondered how you produced the looped-end paper clips. Thank you for showing us. 🥰
You’re welcome 😊
do you have a composition notebook video? they look awesome
Hello Pat! Yes, I think back at the very beginning of my videos there is one on how I cover composition books with napkin. I'll apologize in advance for the poor video quality. I am definitely a work in progress!
I’ll be sneaking up to the craft room soon to get to work on today’s assignments. 😘
Like the double tag paper clip. How do you make the curls on the paper clips. ‘‘Tis first showing the curls.
I show how to do that in another one of the videos, at the end. Shoot. I don't know which episode that is in. BUT, Tracie Fox from LoveJunkJournals shared it years ago. If you search curled paper clip in her channel, I'm certain you'll find it.
OK now I want to buy a journal. I need to look and see if you have a link posted for purchase.
This batch has sold, but I'm hoping to make more this summer, after school is out. They take me longer than I thought to personalize, so I won't have time to take on more until late June.
Can you show how you make the double sided paper clips? I’ve not seen all the different versions before.
Yes, I will show that in the next video, episode 7 of the build a scrap buster idea book.
I really like your ideas ! Is there a certain amount you suggest we make of each item ? I also love the lace cover you made, when I get time I may try to make a mini as I do not have much lace and things as you do ! Thanks

@@CoriDahmen Ok that what I meant to ask how many for idea book sorry I was not clear on that ! Thanks
Hi, Chris. I was wondering if you can direct me to the video where you used paper napkins to make your pretty paper clips. Thank you.
Yes, it is the #100dayproject6by6in6, day 15, paper clip dangles. Funny. Like I can make anything in 6 minutes :)
Sorry about the name. Spell check is my special friend..lol. Thank you for you help!

How could I order one of those small beautiful journals?? Do you shop to Spain?? I would love to have one
Thank you. I had made some of the mini journals and listed them in my Etsy shop. I will list more as they become available, but it won't be until late June because of the end of the school year.
What’s the size of the little journal?
This one is a 6" x 6" journal with a 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" cover.
What is your Etsy shop name?
My Etsy is etsy.com/shop/CreatingWithScraps.
