I wish I saved the threads on various pages on this happening. So many fans were in denial that the NFL model/Super League was coming. Oh no they're not going to throw schools by the waist side lmfao. Well well well. Look where we are now. It'll be 50 schools tops. 8 or 10 five school pods. All the other 70 schools are out of luck.

People are under estimating how much financially these colleges have to spemd on paying players etc
LSU womens basketball, UCONN mens college basketball, University of Arizona and UCLA athletic departments are all currently in the red running deficits. The examples I provided are successfull programs with recent championships yet still in debt. There is a shortage of money and it will result in more changes across college sports landscape. Tier's replacimg conferences is the next big thing.

They're in the red because they choose to be. The only reason coaching salaries and sport facilities got as outrageous as they are was because schools were trying to hide how much money they were making so they didn't have to pay players.
