This is a standard feature of Audition but the available voices are dependent on your operating system.

Hello, I have a question, I have a podcast with voices and effects, but when I export it, one sounds louder than the other. How do I even out the sound without losing presence. Please help me 🥺
There are lots of videos on the channel that can help you. You may also want to check out the Pro Podcast Presets which will help with your levels mrc.fm/presets
You can select all the clips and match clip loudness as a start and then make sure the voices are properly processed.
Hi Mike - great stuff! I am struggling to get voices from my Mac OS system into Adobe Audition. In this video, when you click Settings, I don't get the window that appears in this video - it goes to my Mac OS Settings>Appearance>Accessibility>Open VoiceOverAccessibility, where I can see the voice that I want (I have downloaded it on my Mac) however it doesn't appear in my Generate>Speech options in Adobe Audition. Can you help please? Am using Sanoma 14.2
Sad to hear this. Make sure Voice Over TTS voices on macOS are setup first.

I really love your tutorial. It's concise and helpful. I have a question about choose the voice. I can only choose Engish(United State) and Chinese as languages, and the voice only has male and female. I was wondering how to get more voices. Do you have any idea?

HI Mike, for some reason my Audition app only has US accents, I only have 1 female or 1 male. would this be a subscription reason or is it to do with my laptop defaults?
Hey there! It sounds like your limited voice options could be due to the default language settings on your laptop affecting Adobe Audition's available voices.
I am not getting options for other voices, languages and settings are set to one option.
The options available to you depend on your OS
I have the same problem, did you solve it, or stuck with it because of the OS?
Maybe I was doing somthing incorrectly, but the customize voice in the settings does nothing in being able to generate more realisatic voice overs. Adobes voice generate is laging in comparison to other voiceover generators. If it was able to generate voices that sound Siri, then it would be usful. But not at this 2024 update.

How come you have more languages and a male voice option? I'm so confused. Please help me access them
To access more languages and male voice options in Adobe Audition for voice overs you must enable them in your OS. This is where they come from.
To do it use voiceover settings in your OS.
Is there a single video which explains HOW to download all those choices? I have two (2) choices to choose from. I've downloaded more "language packs" from Windows / Settings / Regions but they are not showing up in Adobe Audition.

Hi there! Adobe Audition is specifically designed for advanced audio editing and processing including voiceover capabilities. Adobe Premiere Pro primarily focuses on video editing.

These are not AI voices, they use the same nearly decade old speech engine as Siri……..

@@KienNguyenTrung-cg9pu Yes, basic speech synthesis has existed since the '90s. This is definitely a more modern and advanced version of it, but it's not AI.
Was hoping for something new, saw a similar more robust video 10 mins ago that was created 7 yrs ago showcasing this.
Unfortunately this is the best we currently have in Adobe Audition. More to come I hope!

Different tech
These all sound terrible and very robotic, there are infinitely better options out there. I would say these are borderline unusable and if you have a video with VO like this I'd automatically click away.
There’s still no substitute for a human voiceover.
@@MikeRussell There most definitely is. Even Amazon's VO is better than this. Gemmy VO and ElevenLabs both have amazing AI voices.

This video is misleading It's just classic TTS. You had me believe actual AI voices were being used, like ones from Eleven.
I apologise for any confusion caused. It’s the best Adobe has right now.
I don’t think the voices are any good I’m afraid- what would work is if it was a good voice changer which kept the human intonation but gave it different effects that changes make to female etc and things like alien voices etc
