Thanks Tom for taking the time to record this new Supercharging station. Tesla have definitely excelled and the site is looking excellent. Appreciate you sharing this with us all. Love your rego plates. Brilliant 👍👍😊🇦🇺
Thank you for your effort and time, you are appreciated, you are loyal. It’s good that they painted it to say Tesla EV only to alert the potential ICE’ers
Great video Tom! we have now documented all of the chargers from Sunshine Coast down to Melbourne and also across to Adelaide - but, when we did this is was with St Leonards (NSW-2065 - now closed), so I will need to swing past this location in a few weeks when I bring one of our rental cars back up from ACT to Brisbane, and do this one (NSW-2113) too! - all of our station documentaries are on our channel now.
Thank you very much Tom, first time I’m gona use and it’s so helpful especially you told all landmarks and where to drive etc extremely crisp in coverage while you drive you spoke everything I needed to know
Spoke to a Tesla employee at Macquarie Centre when they were testing these Super Chargers. He said V3 chargers will arrive in Australia end of this year. Wouldn’t say where though.
Hey Tom I notice that your speedometer is in the center of the info segment of the display whereas these days (2023) the speedometer is in the right corner. Did Tesla change that position?
I really appreciate your help finding the supercharger in this monstrosity here! Directions worked like a charm! I was in the gong, getting ready to head to QBN, when I accidentally ended up at Hornsby Heights! Talk about unexpected! This sure beats going home via the CBD. Though if I had a few percent more I might have tried to reach Picton directly.
It's my absolute pleasure! Glad you found my video helpful. Hornsby Heights?! Woah, that's quite the detour. I agree, Macquarie Ctr is a convenient location
@Sensei Shredder I wanted to get the Model Y, but it depends how long it takes to come to Australia. If it's going to be another two years then I might get the 3 first. But the recent stock market crash due to coraonavirus has taken a big chunk out of my finances so I might have to wait to see how that pans out before deciding.
Oh I used your referral link by the way, your videos were a big reason why I chose to take the leap away from ICE to EV. Thanks for all you do for the Tesla community!
Hi Tom, so th your emphasis on valet parking it was easy for me to locate and charge thank you 😊 just a question : I noticed an icon “passenger airbag on” in top left “only while driving” and no passengers in my car ever. The letter “on” is in amber color. Is this app expected? Just curious as I don’t remember seeing it before or maybe I don’t know
Thank you Tom just refered manual , yes it says there too. Well lol a bit confusing to me as the letter on was in amber. Yes without your video I would be in trouble to find it, helped me a lot. I’m watching more videos from you on charging and got my type 2 cable delivered to me from your link
Rolls87 Thank you! Believe it or not, all the handheld shots were done on my iPhone 11 Pro I wonder perhaps if it has inbuilt digital stabilisation because I agree, it is reasonably stable.
Each Tesla purchase comes with 1500km Supercharger credit. Beyond this it is 52c/kWh in Australia - billed to your Tesla account. Other DC charging brands are priced separately. Ac charging fee is also at the discretion of the proprietor of the premises where it is installed.
Thanks for watching! You can use my referral code to get 1,500 km of free Supercharging on a new Tesla - ts.la/thomas7208
@Boomstik Dylan Thanks!

Michael Druce Thanks Mike
Great news. Better range of cafes than St Leonard’s to spend the time waiting for a charge. We need one in Gosford / Erina.
Graham Jones There are certainly a lot more food/beverage options at Macquarie.
Coles (Macquarie Centre, North Ryde 2113) is open “601am to 1059pm” all 7 days [Monday to Sunday]
Thanks

Sensei Shredder Thanks for the tip re: 24/7 👍
Great review! I work in Ryde, so looking forward to using these super chargers when I get my Model 3, ...or maybe Y.
Stewart Cameron Thanks!
Stewart Cameron get the Model Y if can wait a few years, the inside build of it is totally different to a Model 3 and much new tech/efficient

Pleasure, it’s quite easy to find 🙂
Cheers Tom planning to drive there today or tomorrow
Thanks! Tom 🙏. Found the chargers easily with this guide.
Good to hear! 😃

Robert Cruikshank Awesome! Can’t wait!
Hey Tom I notice that your speedometer is in the center of the info segment of the display whereas these days (2023) the speedometer is in the right corner. Did Tesla change that position?
Oh yes, this is an older video. The software has since been updated and as you'll see from my recent videos, the speedo is now in the top right corner

Looks great. I will check it out next time I'm in the area - although I don't have a Tesla yet.
noswonky Cool, definitely worth checking out.

@Sensei Shredder That's not too bad.
Talavera Road is the best way in isn’t it mate. Valet entrance perfect 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Tesla In The Gong Yup Talavera Rd definitely best way in!
Great work. Appreciate the time and effort.
Stuart Marshall Pleasure!
There’s 10 there now, just went down there to take a look. I’m super excited to get my 3 SR+ in a couple of weeks.
Congrats Anthony! How exciting 😃👍

Great work finding the charger! Yes the airbag icon is also present in our car even without passengers

Great review Tom as always.
Thanks Ravi!
Nice video! Are you using a gimbal+ go pro when you walk around or what gear? Looks quite stable. Keep up the great work.
Rolls87 Thank you! Believe it or not, all the handheld shots were done on my iPhone 11 Pro

Ludicrous Feed nice! And what about the in car shots. Go pro on a mount? Been wondering as I want to buy a camera to record some car footage.
Rolls87 I went with DJI Osmo action and a mount because it has two screens - front and back. Handy for vlogging.
Know that location well, used to work very near on Talavera rd
It's a central spot
Are these charging stations free?

Man roads are weird in Australia. I’d be getting into accidents every day.
bill nipp best you stay where you are then😳🙃
