This provides addition resistance….and is ALSO why there is a “typical band set-up” on stage. They used it as an aesthetic feature to the stage…instead of letting to serve the function it was created for. They wanted it to be “kewl”. This video has context for how the crowd was stationed in the daytime. There appears to be an area, for the rich VIP's near the front that has a lot of room, with it filling up later. What has not yet been revealed, is where the crush of fans was that caused the injuries and deaths. Was it at the very front of the stage, or was it at some barrier area section before that? Also, did fans jump over barriers to get to the section near the stage? Many unanswered questions at this time.

The biggest issue I see is how flat the venue is. I’ve been to the gorge before and the crowds don’t get like this because behind the front is a giant hill so you can still see the stage. At least some bleachers or something. This was a recipe for disaster

The stage the camera is focusing on in this video is NOT the stage where the tragedy occurred. Travis Scott had his own separate, custom-designed stage, which can't be seen as well here.
I don't think I'll ever complain about our growing levels of security at events in the UK after witnessing this. It really doesn't help when people such as the ones who jumped fences just simply can't be trusted to behave well once they leave their houses.
My friend saw him perform at rolling loud and even said the entire ground was shaking with the amount of people jumping up and down. She goes to concerts regularly and said it was unlike any experience she’s ever had…I can’t even imagine a festival dedicated solely to him. Opioids make it hard to breathe and when you are being squashed or walked on it will make it worse. I kept called medics immediately for the people I saw. I think you’ll hear in the end that drugs were involved in those tragic event. Those poor kids and their families

My friend saw him perform at rolling loud and even said the entire ground was shaking with the amount of people jumping up and down. She goes to concerts regularly and said it was unlike any experience she’s ever had…I can’t even imagine a festival dedicated solely to him. Hopefully this changes concert safety and security in the future. Blessings to all those that lot their lives, their loved ones and those healing both physically and emotionally.

How come so many people 18-25 were having cardiac arrest? Trampling can cause death but not cardiac arrest. This is horrible and I hope the truth about these young people died come out.

I was at ACL this year in VIP and there was pushing forward at main concerts and I could see three young girls over the two nights I was there being pushed against the fence between me and them so hard they were passing out. Opioids make it hard to breathe and when you are being squashed or walked on it will make it worse. I kept called medics immediately for the people I saw. I think you’ll hear in the end that drugs were involved in those tragic event. Those poor kids and their families
hate to tell you this but it’s extremely common for an adrenaline rush and fear combined to cause cardiac arrest. one of the deaths was as young as 14, i sincerely doubt that they were on opioids.
I have stage 2 hypertension and I’m 25. A lot of other people are born with heart issues too, more than you can think of.
