That female witness is the worse.
Exactly! I was like....um...well, I guess until she found out people died. I don't think she knew prior to the reporter telling her people died.

In their defense her reaction when the reporter mentions those who died shows she had no idea. Young people drugged up at music festivals has been going on since the 70s
True. I was totally freakin until he said that to her and she clearly looked shocked.

My 15 year old wanted to go but I didn;t buy her a ticket. She was really annoyed with me until I told her this morning what happened. Lots of her friends were there. What the media didn't say was there were bands of people going around surrounding kids with I-phones and stealing them....organized mugging.

Good Job there shoudl be an age limit for events like this. Especially after what happened. 18+ or even 21+
Unfortunately not even super surprised to hear that. Some people go to these festivals to pull licks on people. It’s really sad. Glad you didn’t end up getting your kid those tickets, they’re safe from all this
I really don't think she knew that people had died because of all the chaos that was going on at the time. She thought it was awesome.

Exactly!!!!
I've been to enough festivals to know that those pictures show a lot more than just 50K people. That's closer to 80K, at least.
Download Festival in the UK can accommodate 120K and the main stage often looks like this for the headline act. There is no way in hell that's *just* 50K.
Even the people interviewed said people were breaking in. There was no accountability for this event. Travis just wanted a rager and deserves to be held accountable.
Nah about 50-60,000 max I’ve gone every year and it’s about same amount of people that are in the videos
50K was the "expected attendance" based on tickets sold. It's presumed that nearly double that number were able to come in without tickets, there were videos from earlier in the day of hundreds if not thousands of people storming through the security gates, most of whom were presumed to not have tickets.
I agree, I believe that so many people kept rushing, sneaking in throughout the entire concert the staff completely failed
Does it matter lol
Some of (you) people need to leave that girl alone, she clearly didn't realize what had happened.

In this interview they’re just finding out that 8 people died. By their impressions they didn’t know the severity of the situation they just thought it was bad for them. Not knowing it was 100 times worst for others.
"It was awesome, it was good" WTF???
I think she’s just nervous speaking to the reporter.
I dont think she even knew people died
She’s just giving her experience. She had no idea people died.
To hear her say the exit was like being in the concert makes the event organizers liable
It is a sad state for a number of reasons.
This is a good first hand report, but unfortunately the kids were so hyped up that they couldn’t comprehend the scope of the tragedy.
Second is that there is so much more to learn about the incident on Twitter than on main stream news sources. That’s also concerning for our future. Check out out Travis Scott astroworld videos.
It was a rage event that kept on going while kids were obviously dying. People in the audience were doing pleading for someone to stop the show and do something while Travis Scott looks over the crowd and continued to sing.
Who agreed to give a permit to have an event without assigned seats to 50,000 ?
There were 50,000 last year, they sold 100,000 tickets this year
Open Air Venue, and look at the crowd of people. Clearly, that was more than 50,000. No matter how many After Actions Review's, Lessons Learned or any other educational overview that are conducted, nothing is going to change. We are coming towards the end of Humanity as we once knew it. It seems that the majority of people that are really concerned is Generation X. It's Sad Because, they are our Future. To those that Passed RIP.
Capacity was 200,000. According to police i.e., the cops, they could have had 200,0000 people there.

Sadly a 10 year old was trampled around him. Worst experience of my life but overall a good time :)
You don't know if Astroworld was the worst experience that girl has been through in life
I had kids at that concert; well young adults. My great grand son was there he said that there was a bad group of people mixed in the crowd at the front and they refuse to back off the people that were becoming ill, falling out and being crushed. They ended the concert fast. He said there were people picking fights and some of the people tried to get away from the fights; someone said there was a gun and hell broke loose. The other kids said that when the fire works went off some of the smoke ended low in front of the stage and people were getting sick from it. They were getting sick and tried to get away from the crowd but couldn't and they were falling out and were being crushed. I thank God they were not in harms way but they said people were not helping the sick and injured they just walked all over them and the sick became trampled. There were police officers and medics that got hurt as well. We will find out soon.
Wow that’s terrible
It was a targeted attack. People were injecting concert goers with fentanyl
@@yadumbassss3538 That is a possibility and very frightening. Texas has been a target because Texas just wont bend that knee or get in line.
