The Most Dangerous Card-Game The door to the 'Crimson Dragon' flew open with a crash and into the tavern's inviting light strode a burly dwarf bearing a great beard and an overstuffed backpack. 'Mr. Big!' The patrons shouted in greeting to the legendary adventurer and fortune hunter. Within' moments the already enthusiastic bar was abuzz with cheering; many a hand was shook and many a back patted before Mr. Big was able to work his way to the bar. 'I'll have an ale, Molly' Mr. Big called to the bartender as he parked himself onto on a prominent stool smack dab in the middle. As Molly hurried to pour Mr. Big a tankard, a voice from the back called out 'how's the hunting?' 'Very good. Very good.' Mr. Big said as he removed his backpack. 'You might even say that business... is booming!' And with that, he dumped the contents of his backpack onto the bar; revealing many choice trophies including the head of a legendary goblin demolitions expert. Many in the crowd cheered, though a few turned away in disgust. 'Put those away.' Molly said as she delivered the ale. 'And the rest of you, give Mr. Big a bit of space so that he can drink in peace, he's had a long journey and I'm sure he'll see you all in turn once he's settled in.' As the patrons returned to their separate conversations, Mr. Big took a long drink. 'Is that a touch of Ragnaros fire?' He said as he wiped his mouth 'You know me too well, Molly.' Molly simply smiled as she cleaned a glass. 'It's good to see you Big.' Came a voice from a stool to the hunter's right. He turned to see an old friend of his. 'Hemet Nesingwary! It's good to see you!' 'Ah, Yes.' Hemet said, with some hesitation 'I was wondering about the hunting... that is, how the hunting prospects are-' 'Oh, they're fantastic!' Mr. Big replied. 'Huge monsters as far as the eye can see. Fire Lords! Giants! Doctors! Great prospects for any shooter.' 'Oh, that's good.' Hemet said thoughtfully. 'But what about the beasts? I've been training myself to shoot beasts, you see. And I was hoping maybe my skills would be in demand.' 'Well... not so much.' Mr. Big said. 'At least not yet. But that could change at any moment.' 'But I heard there were Savannah Lions out there, surely there's demand out there for a beast-slayer.' 'Ah, Savannah Lions, yes.' Mr. Big said. 'Fearsome beasts they are. Though I think most heroes look to avoid them when possible; killing them always brings the hyenas out you see...' 'Oh... of course, of course. But things could change, right? Who knows what vicious animals lurk out there. My skills could come into demand, right?' 'Sure, sure. Though if you want to make sure of a steady job in the future, I'd concentrate on the big game. Right between the eyes, that's the secret.' Mr. Big said and pointed to the bridge of his nose. But Mr. Big was wrong, and it was his very success that led to a wane in demand for his services. In the ensuing weeks, large monsters stopped coming out, fearful of the sniper's bullet and as a result Big Game Hunters everywhere were having trouble finding a job and were getting paid less when they did find one. It got so bad that the Hunters Union called a meeting to discuss the possibility of a moratorium on Hunting the largest monsters to give the population a chance to rebound. The debate was fierce, with no less than Rexxar himself arguing against the motion. The facts presented were dire, however and in the end those against the moratorium gave in. 'Well argued, I concede' Rexxar said at the end of the final debate. The Hunters at the meeting weren't happy with the result, but were content in thinking that they had done the right thing. But they were so focused on the result that none took notice of a man in a cloak with a bizarre green beard who left hurriedly after the final vote was taken. When the man left the hall, he slipped into an alley to meet his zombie assistant. He removed the fake green beard and put on a pointy hat. Suddenly it was clear who he was; The Wonderful Wizard of Valuetown! 'Daaa?' The zombie asked. 'Wake the giants.' The Wizard said. 'Da.' The zombie acknowledged.
That is the best thing I have ever read in a youtube comment section. If that is of your own writing I want you to know that you are doing a great job.
Hey, in the description, you put Mirror Match as the final timestamp. However, in that particular match, it was Handlock vs a Mech Druid similar to the previously played deck. Not sure if it was intentional, but just wanted to point it out.
I'm kind of bad at this game so forgive me if this sounds stupid, but I was playing around with a warrior mech deck and I had a piloted shredder on the field, when its death rattle activated it gave me a mana addict, I realized how great that card can be in a mech deck with all the spare parts that can be played in one turn. Can I get come insight on this?
At 9:03 turn wouldn't it have been better to: Hit totem with Damaged Golem - Keeper to kill the Drake - Trade Yeti with Fire Ele, Hero Power to finish off? Maybe play Wild Growth at the start?
at 15:38 Wouldn't the better play have been to swap the heath and attack of the yeti, attack into the harvest golem with his 4/4 and then swipe the yeti?
These video's inspired me to try some mech druid. Man, the deck is really fun, the mechwarper along with innervate allows for some insane starts! The only downside thatI've experienced is that if you don't get your card draw, then you run out of steam pretty hard.
IMO, remove both of the Wild Growth. Add one Nourish (which actually *is* card draw, instead of 1:1 card exchange), and a strong 3-drop (maybe a second Spidertank). Same number of cards, more early-game power, stronger Ramp if you get the Innervate-Nourish combo, and stronger late-game card draw.
I'm not that much of a hearthstone player but couldn't Trump just play that 4 mana horsedude to silence the butcherdude and get his 6 dmg through and finish this fool off with that 3dmg of wrath? (Around 3:10)
That was most likely his next move if he didn't get Hellfire. Didn't really matter which order he did it in, because the chances of him dying were slim.
Mike Hunt that pretty sure means he doesnt know what deck to use in these current meta at same time not using 1 months old decks that bored the viewers.
If you are only concerned with your win percentage at this particular moment in time, then your logic of him sticking to two decks is solid. However, the meta shifts, meaning that at any given point in time handlock or mustardadin will not be an optimal (or even viable) choice. This means that once this shift happens (and it will happen eventually for undetermined amounts of time), he will be caught with figurative pants down. Furthermore, I believe Trump's goal isn't to farm to top 16 legendary so much as to: 1- understand new cards and interactions 2- understand new decks and their matchups 3- improve himself overall as a player Often times, the best way to improve at something is to focus laterally rather than vertically. In this case, by focusing on his "weaker" decks for his preferred play style, he is actually improving his game and understanding. Now don't get me wrong, Trump is an upper-tier player, and his professionalism, attitude, quality of his work, and his teaching methods are second-to-none, but he is not the end all, be all. In fact, I would call him one dimensional in terms of his focus. Now this isn't a bad thing, and often successful tournament players will focus on one particular play style, but in this case I believe that the all-consuming quest for "ultimate value" can blind less prepared players from what truly matters in this game: getting your opponent to zero. tl;dr- focusing on one or two decks is suboptimal for improving your play when you're at a skill level similar to Trump's. Improving knowledge leads to better win rates in the long run.
Would'nt it have been safer to mortal coil the druid of the claw instead of tapping in the last turn? Not that it would have made any difference, but still.
If I find another freaking comment that states that he missed lethal at 3:10(which he did not, as there wasn't even POSSIBLE lethal) I'm gonna kill myself
Funniest piloted sky golem moment: warlock opponent is on 12 health and i destroy his piloted sky golem. He gets an auchenai soul priest out of it and i end turn. He plays antique healbot XD
he could have won against the warlock in the first battle.... i dont get why he didnt silence the sludge belcher and sky golem wrath him in the face for nine damage..... easy win but i guess he was too focused on killing his minions before the win
its so sad. Thats exactly the same shaman deck i run for like months now. Blizzard refuses to improve the bad shaman cards, and because of that we cant have variety. Bloodlust could be 4 mana. (many "pros" say this) ancestral healing could target 2 minions totemic might is garbage, change name and make it affect minions winfury should cost 1 farsight should cost 2 alakir should have 1 more stat, or cost 1 less mana.
Don't like this deck at all. I guess its sort of a mid-range? It barely has enough mechs to justify tinkertown tech and mech warper, and for some reason it runs both wild growth and mech warper... There's already a druid mech deck by reynad, I think trump should've tried that one out.

That's pretty fancy
I'm loving these stories man! Keep 'em coming!
That is the best thing I have ever read in a youtube comment section. If that is of your own writing I want you to know that you are doing a great job.
Hmm, well played
Andreas Golz you should check out his comment in the previus mechanized nature video, its... glorius
Wow that description is amazing xD
Everytime a druid goes turn 2 wild growth, a person die behind his computer.
Everytime druid top decks wildgrowth on turn 2*
you can't even copy other ppl jokes
Missed lethal at 2:57 keeper of grove silence sludge belcher, wrath for 3 damage, piloted sky golem for 6 -> dead. even 2 for 1 more direct damage
I forget wrath is for minions.
WHY IS THE THUMBNAIL SO HILARIOUS TO ME
It took this second video for me to notice Malfurion, also the Leeroy-Shredder pic at the end of control vs control vs rng was very hilarious.
didn't he missed lethal at 3:00?
Hey, in the description, you put Mirror Match as the final timestamp.

Hit totem with Damaged Golem - Keeper to kill the Drake - Trade Yeti with Fire Ele, Hero Power to finish off? Maybe play Wild Growth at the start?
Mortal coil first on the last turn of the video gives you 3 outs (jarraxus/bomb/hellfire) instead of just hellfire/bomb for lethal that turn.
didn't he miss leathal at 3:00??
at 15:38
Wouldn't the better play have been to swap the heath and attack of the yeti, attack into the harvest golem with his 4/4 and then swipe the yeti?
OG Trump, out here saltin' fools
These video's inspired me to try some mech druid. Man, the deck is really fun, the mechwarper along with innervate allows for some insane starts!

Yeah I usually run Jeeves for that situation

@15:08 Wouldn't swapping trumps minion be better? 5/1 instead of 4/1
24:45 why not molten, taunt with defender both and shadowflame the defender? gets rid of half the opponent board without losing a mountain...
How can you message the person you are playing at the same time
did he just missed leathal at the first game? or wrath can only be played on minions??
Happy NaX Year! Ladies & gentle Gobs! No Justice in the Wild, just tempos...
What is a good replacement to dr boom in this deck?
Any big Legendary will probably do; Ragnoros, Sneed, Alexstraza... though if you are looking for a non-legendary answer... I can't really help.
War Golem ;)
Why when he lost vs shaman he was 387 and when he was vs the mage he was 386 ?
Awww snap!
LOVE U TRUMP NO HOMO
Zana Soldier I am homo so be careful what you say...
Danijel Ilic '' Danijel '' NOW THAT.
Good deck
Missed lethal about 04:20
nope
There's no mirror match for the last one jens :P
I'm not that much of a hearthstone player but couldn't Trump just play that 4 mana horsedude to silence the butcherdude and get his 6 dmg through and finish this fool off with that 3dmg of wrath? (Around 3:10)
Wrath can only target minions, not the enemy hero.
Wrath only damages minions
in the last game, wouldn't coiling the cat have been better then tapping in pretty much every way?
That was most likely his next move if he didn't get Hellfire. Didn't really matter which order he did it in, because the chances of him dying were slim.
I dont understand why trump doesn't stick to Handlock or mustardadin. It seems he has by far his best win rates with those 2 classes !
He is a streamer...streamer don use same old decks everytime..that will be fcking boring for the viewers.
No, yeah, of course i get that ! But he often says «I dont know what deck I should use.» ! That was about that question !
Mike Hunt

Steve Walsh Thank you for your answer ! Very elaborated !
that shamman... dart so fucking lucky...
Would'nt it have been safer to mortal coil the druid of the claw instead of tapping in the last turn? Not that it would have made any difference, but still.
wtf is that 2/5 card on 3:15
That's a warrior specific card called Screwjank Clunker. It's a mech with a battlecry of giving a friendly mech +2/+2.
thanks :)
At 8:00 why doesn't Trump use the Wild Growth?
Because using wild growth turn 8 iss plain useless.
Not worth it. He doesn't need another mana crystal. So, keep Wild Growth to draw a card with the mana excess.
Murilo Veratti I see, thanks! I'm new so this sort of thing isn't so obvious to me.
You get it with time! Good luck!
If I find another freaking comment that states that he missed lethal at 3:10(which he did not, as there wasn't even POSSIBLE lethal) I'm gonna kill myself
He missed lethal.
He missed lethal
He lissed methal.
kappa
pls don't kill urself :[
Such missed leathel at 3:25
explain.
+wixxed Keeper > silence taunt, Golem > hit face for 6. Wrath to the face for 3
Wrath cannot be cast on the face.
Why isn't he running Malorne?
You had lethal in game one btw
3:50 miss Lethal
Kappa
Wrath can online hit minions
On-the-line
why is he running chow in a handlock deck?
It slows down zoo.
Winston Palmer
Handlock : slow down .. grap the wall .. wiggle like if your tryin' to make your ass fall off
Zoo : *Nigga O-O''*
grab*
has anyone ever got piloted shredder from piloted sky golem?
yep
I have.
much luck .. such doge
very wow -.-
Golem into shredder into Millhouse the dream.
I lived the dream and it was rngesus's blessing
no missed lethal in the first game XD
I wonder how he got that huge beard into the helmet
I swear I just watched this on twitch.....
Guys what legendary should I craft, i have none :/
Ragnaros and sylvannas
Dr Boom.
Dr boom or sylvan as would be your best bet
Rag has won me more games than I can count
Rag, Boom, or Sylvanas
"handlocks arnt cancer its a very hard deck to play!"-handlock player
I assume you've never played handlock?
Trump play old style token druid. It rocks.
Funniest piloted sky golem moment: warlock opponent is on 12 health and i destroy his piloted sky golem. He gets an auchenai soul priest out of it and i end turn. He plays antique healbot XD
Malfurion sounds like Sean Connery.
Play Shaman please
on the third minuet he may won,if he used wrath on warlock
the best deck is of course hobgoblin warsong commander warrior!!!
No Mech-Bear-Cat? Not even one?
he could have won against the warlock in the first battle.... i dont get why he didnt silence the sludge belcher and sky golem wrath him in the face for nine damage..... easy win but i guess he was too focused on killing his minions before the win
its so sad. Thats exactly the same shaman deck i run for like months now. Blizzard refuses to improve the bad shaman cards, and because of that we cant have variety.
Bloodlust could be 4 mana. (many "pros" say this)
ancestral healing could target 2 minions
totemic might is garbage, change name and make it affect minions
winfury should cost 1
farsight should cost 2
alakir should have 1 more stat, or cost 1 less mana.
You gotta lose those wild growths and wraths trump. Your deck is aggro/midrange. (if not the wraths then at least the wild growths)
25:20 so dumb
None of wrath can hit face ok? So please stop with these missed lethals
So funny!
I actually thought Piloted Sky Golem was good, turns out it ain't.
Wait nvm lol
.
Don't like this deck at all. I guess its sort of a mid-range? It barely has enough mechs to justify tinkertown tech and mech warper, and for some reason it runs both wild growth and mech warper... There's already a druid mech deck by reynad, I think trump should've tried that one out.
Trump is so bad at making decks... Not putting two combos in this deck is so greedy, in the second, he should ask himself why he lost
.
