My family and another family made it down there just a little over a year ago for the first time. I can’t wait to go back. I agree with everything you say about why we overland and would also add the opportunity to pit your skills, your machine and your equipment against all that nature can throw at us. Great video. The Ozarks are on my list for sure.

Hi Matt, thank you for all of your great videos! My wife and I are going to be going through Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska in mid June. If anyone has suggestions for some easy to moderate, and even difficult, but not-too-difficult routes, that would be awesome. FYI, we're driving a 1998 4runner with 2-3" lift, 34" AT tires, lockers (front & rear) and winch, so it's pretty capable, but we'll be traveling solo so we're not looking for _too_ much adventure. Interesting RTT modification. I looked at the Ursa Minor but the wait time and price are ridiculous. I ended up getting an iKamper Mini. But you never know, might sell it and go with a more permanent solution at some point.
