Above ground pool filter will need to be rinsed or clean at least once a week. You don't need to replace it with a new filter weekly. I use 2 filter that I alternate during the pool season. Let us know what type of filter do you use and how do you keep it clean.
Coleman pool is actually made by Bestway. It's all written in the Support and warranty documents. The metal frame and the vinyl material are all the same just different design. What I have found is that it is easier to maintain and keep the water clear on larger pool (think bather load). So if you have the space go for a larger pool.
