I followed you last night till this morning and finsihed the sweater , it came out so cute. You are awesome to follow for learning. Thank you for posting your video !
Ruby the sweater i just finished and turned out to be bigger then 3-6 mos. turned out very good anyways, i will give it to my 2 year old great niece that will fit her good. i made it with pink and black for the contrast color. wish i knew how to post a pic for you too see what you taught me to make. thank you for all your replies to me questions, you are very very nice for helping us out with this. thank you
i love your video because its very easy to follow. i am making a larger sweater and started with 200 chains. Should i stop at the eight rows of double crochet or increase this before the beginning of the back which will be 100 chains
ME ENCANTO TU EPLICACION ESTOY RECIEN EMPEZANDO Y ME PARECIO RE FACIL ME GUSTARIA HACERLO PARA MI NIETO CON LANA BIEN GORDA PERO NO SE SI QUEDARA IGUAL NI SE QUE AGUJA NECESITO SOLO HE TRABAJADO TRAPILLO ....... PERO SU TRABAJO ME PARECE QUE LO VOY A PODER HACER .......VEREMOS UN BESO Y LA FELICITO QUEDO HERMOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG , I love it. Was able to make it and yes very easy. I made mines all in white with a baby beanie hat with flower and all I have to do is attach the same flower crochet that I made to this sweater. I wish we could at least put the picture up so you can see we turn out to be great students, Ruby. Thank you so much for your tutorial.
Hi, the size is from 0 to 3 months, to make it bigger you can make 120 ch and make and extra 3 rows on the first side, give it the same space on the middle back part, and from there make the other side the same as the first one, and for the sleeves you have to divide the sweater in 3 parst and the middle is for the sleeves, I hope you understand my explanation and yes you can Knit it.
You can put 7 rows on the back. For the collar and front you can add another row, and for the increases on the collar you can start on the 3rd stich before the corner where the front meets the back. And 3 on the back side, on those 6 st you have to make 2 dc on each sp, and then you can do 15 dc where I did 11dc on the back. Good Luck
is there something I'm missing because mines isn't turning out like the video I've got the eight rows done so do I start at top the two front pieces is the hardest because I'm not getting two fronts like video
Hi Ruby, thank you for this pattern. I'm in the middle of making it. I just snipped my yarn and slipped to start the row with 42 double crochet. .. when going down the other side after doing the eleven singles in the back.... do I complete with 42 single or is it double?
Ruby, help quickly please, i started off with 120 chains, where you started off with 90 then you said to do 8 rows, i did that, do i add more rows here and then when you got to the part where you counted 45 and done 5 rows, don't i count 60 and do i do more rows there too?
Hey, you have a great tutorials. I learn a lot of your tutorial and they are just wonderful and understood. I want to do my language tutorial with a link to your original tutorial. Will there be a problem with that?
oh thanks for ur kind reply ,,,4 mnths boy baby i have...but summer ll start nov and dec... thats y i ask,,,Thank you soooooooo muchh.if any doubt can i ask?
Ruby, I am getting ready to sew together, but as i finished the body of it, it is bigger then 3-6 mos, i started off with 120 chains, then where you put 8 rows in front i put 10 rows, and 7 rows in the back where you put 5. the sleeves i ended up making the length of my 2 yr old niece arms cause the sweater will fit her. so now i need to make one that is 3-6 mos old . can you help me?
ok i went back to where you said add 43 dbl crochet and they you go on into the increase, please explain the increase to me, what and how many so i can try and finish this along with you. this will be my first sweater and i am really wanting to finish this
I made this with 120 chains to start. I added 3rows on each side as you have told the other person. Can you please let me know how to do the middle part? The part for the collar. Where do I start my increase and how do I do it? Please let me know so I can finish my sweater. Thanks.
this sweater looks bigger then 3-6 mos, i started with 120 chains, then where you said to do 8 rows , i did 10 and then where you said to do 5 rows i did 7, should i not have added the 10 rows where i did
Hi,I want to make this sweater.just a simple question I start with 120 chains and after making the body and start to make collar after how many stitches I have to increase.like you did 42 and then increase in next three thats equal to 45 then you made collar.plz reply
Hi, Ruby I really liked the sweater and hat that you crocheted. My question to you is how many chains would I do for a 6 year old for the sweater as well for the hat. I hope you can help me out. Thank you Maria
Hi Maria the best way is making the chain and measure it on the child's body and make sure that you can divide the chain in 3 part, the same with the hat measure it from his forehead to the crown and the only change for the hat is in the sc you will do 10 sc and the rest of the extra chain make them dc.
I love this pattern and you made it very clear to understand, thank you. How do I convert this pattern into a size 3T-4T? Would I add 30 more stitches for each size going up from 3 to 6 months? I would really appreciate your help in this matter.
Patti Gage It will be easier for you if you do the chains measuring the toddlers body from the waist on the front through the shoulder to the waist on the back.and you have to make sure that the chain is divisible by 3 for example 40,40, 40. or whatever many chains you made.
hi ruby may i say i commented on ur wonderful sweater and i just wondered if u have read it as i ask about the written instructions for a 6 years of age girl please

hello! I'm working with bulkier yarn that uses 6.5mm hook.... any suggestions on how to convert the number of stitches and rows for a 3month old size sweater. i love the yarn and would really like to make this sweater with it so i would totally appreciate any help!
Hi Norma you have to make a chain measuring the baby from the front of the waistline thru the shoulder to the back waistline and make sure you have 3 part the same one for de back one for the sleeves and one for the front, and for the rows measure from the shoulder to the base of the neck. if you have a little jacket of his you can get the measurement from. I hope you understand my English, good luck.
