Yolanda, it is so generous of you to share your crocheting experience, free of charge, to anyone who wants to learn how to make some adorable garmehts. It is mystifying how people can complain if they're not satisfied or simply cannot follow your style; surely they can seek out other free lessons or they can enroll in a fee-for-service crocheting class :-)
I don't know what the confusion was with the sweater, but who cares. You're awesome! You are truly a blessing sharing your talent so that others who want to learn to crochet can. Eeryone has a different style. That's what makes crafting fun. Gives you more to appreciate. I juast learned to crochet about 3 mons ago watching your videos. Inspiration. I'm going to try to add the slipper/booty to the bottom of these pants to make feeted pajama pants. Possibilities are endless, Thank You so much.
Yolanda, I have searched UA-cam as well as hard copy books for a pattern of baby pants. Yours was the first video I found. Thank you so much. I have used many of your video and found each to be very helpful. Remember, there are always someone out there to complain. Don't take it to heart. We LOVE you and your channel. Keep it up. Linda
Ms Yolanda, I just wanted to take a second to let you know just what your talents and generosity means to so many of us who watch you on a regular basis, and to let you know that no matter what the issue was with the cardigan you were talking about, I am pretty sure it got blown out of proportion, and we, (and i am sure I speak for MANY people out there,) absolutely love and adore you for all that you do for those of us who are visual learners. You take many many hours of your day and time, to video these patterns, and upload videos for us, and for those of us out here watching you, we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. I do not understand people who take things and make bigger deals out of them, then should be, but I do know that there are many folks out there like that, so please don't let people like that get to you. I do realize that this issue was a long time ago, but I just felt I needed to express my appreciation for you...God bless you my sister in Christ.
THANK YOU Yolanda!! you are an AWESOME teacher. I just made a pair of pants for my 3 year old granddaughter.. I made these with you. These little pants are toooo cute! Your verbal and written instructions were super Easy to follow. I crochet very tight but this pattern is forgiving. I used a susan bates US 7/4.50mm hook with two Red Heart yarns. Plus I only did a 16 inch waist band (Lazy or was it excited...I didn't want to go the 2 more inches, lol). This pattern is so simple and really versatile. These pants are totally adorable. I am inspired to make the jacket. This will be A gift for someone. Thank you and thank your loved-one who taught u to crochet.
Thank u so much. I appreciate ur kind words too. I know She will. It's for her 1st child. It's gonna be a surprise. Lol. I dont think she even knows that I can crochet. Lol. Hmmm, What u said about "the size of kids" just dawned on me tho. I hope it's big enough. Either way, I am sure after this I will be crocheting another outfit or 2 or 3 for him. Lol. I am not pic savvy but she may be. We will try to send a pic of "baby boy". Lol.
