One thing I love about Simon is the track etiquette. Still manages to put his hand out to the swift driver in case the driver had a brown moment as if to say “you’re alright bud” 🤜🏼🤛🏼 Big respect. Cheers. Muneeb.
This is the dream. You did 2200 miles on the ring? Must have been the best thing ever. Insane driving man the rental crossing you guys looked crazy. God bless he managed to dodge him by going offroad with 2 wheels. Another crazy overtake at 10:50. Funny how fast you closed distance and overtook the Cayman GT4 at the end.
2:20 great save!! that dude almost caused an accident because he was driving very slow on a fast section and he didnt kept his car to the right, he stepped on the brake in the MIDDLE of the track there, very dangerous driving...
Things I learned: Simon's got a big arse The verges are actually part of the track, especially in the Fox Hole You Do treat recovery vehicles with respect You're both mighty quick, without ever appearing to overdrive
As a race car driver and Supra owner for 20 years, I can say this: you either know this track super well, or you're a race car driver. Your line was perfect, even a bit better than your partner. Do you race there, or you learned the track on simulators? Btw, this track attracts bunch of idiots. I would never run there during track day.
Yeah ! Supra chassis are very good one, the only problem when stock, It's Toyota ECU is too much friendly driving, not enough agressive and punchy ! Not enough fast on the straight ! That's why a well modified supra handle amazingly in corners!
Twice a Suzuki swift was on the way and very close ! The second one would be my style too, even if this type of overtaking is a bit dangerous on nurburgring with some people who don't know how to behave correctly!
Great laps! Makes me want to get my Supra up and running again, not used since '09 trip to the 'Ring when I stripped part of the wiring loom above front wheel with tyres rubbing! Just need a new loom for uk spec manual or a decent auto electrician!! Sounds like you're car has a higher rev limit than mine, where's the limiter set? And what exhaust you running?
Jenson They would have had to change all the seals & crap by now. Probably lost a few sensors in prepping the car, whether or nit they fully tuned it. 20 year old seals don't usually like chassis flex too much.
I would've killed 2 drivers and love watching Porsches and M3s moving over for 2JZ king Kong. awesome footage guys and equally awesome driving skills cheers from Baltimore.
Very mixed reviews if it's bad for the turbo, I've not run dump valves for over 5 years and only needed a new turbo due to doing pops and bangs. But I'd fit a new turbo every 4 years anyway as technology is always improving, my new turbo is on boost 1,3 thou faster then my old borgwarner, new turbo is also borgwarner.
I feel the driver of the camera car wanted more power and a slightly firmer rear end, not much because it'd just end up skipping and losing traction over the bumps but it didn't seem like the car was being pushed to its limits, still good to watch and hear.
Sarunas G Yeah man, I used to drive a 2005 Nissan Altima Sport and that 1 gen CVT was a gem on the 2.5L. I could take a charger up to ~120 kph, and older pickups all day through the city. The chassis control was dope, so with ceramics the braking was better & you could FWD drift (powerslide) on demand when it was even slightly slick.
It doesn't have a BOV. It's backpressure on the turbo compressor. The supra guys say you don't need a blow off valve but I don't trust it on cheaper turbos. I call it the sneezing unicorn. =)
Graphics are amazing looks so real...
Omg, that Sutututu... im in love. Nice hands, bro!
Congrats man, great pilot with a great car.....
2jz amazing
2:23 close one...
NightRush What a prick. Red car should be watching for faster traffic.
That mini driver was shady. The ring should ban him

Big respect.
Cheers.
Muneeb.
That turbo flutter is what heaven sounds like to me
This was the most relaxing video I've seen today man, thanks. :)
Me too. I knew I wasn’t the only one, lol.

awesome driving and the sound isnt bad at all either. sounds like gran turismo again with some of those slight tire screeches beautifully tuned supras
That driving and that supra's ass untill the end of first lap were amazing ... That sound and blow off though were a dream!

We are both experienced trackday only drivers but also been driving the ring for 10 years now, also alot of sim driving.
Supra handling so underrated.

Yeah, very stable! Too bad it has to be tuned or it doesn't do much on track!
Fabulous drive. This video is precious
El mejor video de todo UA-cam.
That was beautiful to watch
Sound of heaven
Awesome, well worth watching again!
Really enjoyed that while eating McDonald s in my RZ supra 👍
I wasn`t racing lol xx

Your Not Wrong There, bloody hair dressers lol.
Gaaawwwwdaaaaammmmmnnn she sounds beefy 😍😍😍😍👏
cool video man. those are some nicely setup supra's. are the engines rebuilt or still unopened?
Jenson

Mine was unopened at that time.
What you on about
"what's the retail on one of those?"
Monteiro more than you can afford pal
@@jasonpobiak3748 *_"A Ferrari."_*
since when are slicks allowed?
What supensions do you guys drive? :)
Great video, what camera did you use?
I was excited❗️
I would've killed 2 drivers and love watching Porsches and M3s moving over for 2JZ king Kong. awesome footage guys and equally awesome driving skills
cheers from Baltimore.
What suspension mods do you have? Stock Supras don't handle that well hahaha.
Actually stock Supras handling more than pretty good for it weight on nordschleife
Nikita Semenko Not this good dude.
Have you ever driven a Supra? They handle fine on the road, but making a car handle on a track is a different story, especially the Nurburgring.
Fair enough, but what's your baseline for comparison?
You seem very knowledgeable on the topic, so I respect that. However, don't go saying "you're extremely misinformed" randomly. Have a nice day.
You should fix that 2nd gear grind though lol
how? they dont make replacement parts for the v160 anymore
Every time you hear that bov(music to my ears) you take a shot of tequila or whatever is your drink of choice. "Juice?" 😂 Yeah sure, I like juice too.
is it bad for a turbine? I have a td06 and I have a little spring on the tail bow. Do I need to weaken it?
Very mixed reviews if it's bad for the turbo, I've not run dump valves for over 5 years and only needed a new turbo due to doing pops and bangs.

James Hart nice to see someone else not running dump valve. Run without one on my evo too
What racing?.... Where?....

Good pilots👌
2 min in,, very good driving
You time from bridge to gantry like everybody else does.
Are you still alive man??
thats not about a car its all about the driver

Tuned with alien technology. Fuck.. I'd contract kill for a spec sheet..

What's that fucking sound? A blowoff valve? It's pretty annoying... imho :)
Besides that, amazing drive!
Its turbo flutter
It doesn't have a BOV. It's backpressure on the turbo compressor. The supra guys say you don't need a blow off valve but I don't trust it on cheaper turbos. I call it the sneezing unicorn. =)
