i did the battery and the fuse but still hesitate when coming to a stop, i did notice so lines when i take off the throttle body not sure it something suppose to stop there when screwing it . i doubt i need a special torque tool. mine its a L99 V8

Not sure, never cleaned it before🤔🤔. Well if you can get too it and if it's not too gunky leave it be. But if it is giving you trouble then just replace it. Only if it's faulty.
I'm working on my buddies 2012 Camaro with a lfx and he took it to the shop and they said his cylinder number 6 fuel injector was bad so I swapped that and now it's idling rough I did the throttle body reset and it helped for 2 min then it's back to puffing smoke out the exhaust and idling rough the smoke smells like gas
I haven’t cleaned my throttle yet. But my car broke down when it said engine power reduced. Black Smoke coming out the exhaust. Smells bad. But I wanna do this on my own. I pray it will work.
I didnt think you were supposed to unplug the throttle body. with our 08 Silverado we put a new throttle body and it idled high because we unplugged it same with my 08 Mitsubishi Lancer i touched it while i cleaned it and it discalibrated and idled high as well until we went to a shop and reprogrammed them. What i would do is leave everything plugged in and not touch the plate. I cleaned my 14 camaro RS last week and it didnt mess with anything idled normal no codes etc. just becareful and dont pull on the cables hard or anything. Im gunna clean it better but like i said im not gunna unplug anything or move or touch the plate. Hope this helps guys

wished i would ve seen this video before so i cleaned and moved the inside part many times and had it ported and left the car without it for a week or 2 till i got it back. The car jerk a bit after driving come to a stop or slowing down. If i let go of the brakes on drive it just wants to move forward faster than before. no codes on the dashboard. it runs good specially since i clean filter and remove the windshield reservoir.. any suggestion of what it might be? i saw you posted that method to take off the battery negative terminal . gonna see it fixes the problem.

Know my car is doing the same things don’t have no check engine light no more but wants to move forward to quick or faster than what it was before. I’m even almost fighting it to come to a stop like Ivan sotelo said it jerks or just wants to take off Ivan how’s ur car? What u do to fix that? I’m having that same only problem
Hi Loren Duran, thanks for watching my video like and subscribe. Too answer ypur question, i don't think so really. It could be a fuel line or a fuel injector. Check that all fuel injectors are well set. If no leak's while car is on, then proceed too check the fuel lines. Hope this answered your question or in anyways helps you. Thanks and good luck. @@michaelpast19 it sometimes when opened all the way it deprograms. You need to take your negative terminal off your battery. Leave it off for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes connect your terminal back on, turn the ignition 3 times foward and back, note dont turn the car on. After the third time turn the car on. It should delete the code.

Dude why do you stop the video to take it off and you never once showed how you even got the intake off and removed those parts …. The reason people are watching a video on how to do it is because they don’t know how to do it and removing and assembling parts and taking things apart is apart of “how to” do it so before you make another video take into account your doing a tutorial ok ? The amount of absolute absurdity in these tutorials is unbearable. How are people so easily deluded by these finnicky undependable life hacks??? Of course it didn’t fix my issue. Because why would spraying off microscopic particulates inside the bore fix the actuator motor, outside the bore? I bought a replacement on Amazon for $35. I have put off the issue for another twenty years. If you actually managed to get enough particulates to actually make a difference, bless your heart, buy a new air filter too- or plug the damn hole after the filter. You’re making things so much harder for yourself.
Dam I thought I would be paying an arm and a leg for this issue but thank god this tutorial exists my car runs smooth once again

need to reset the battery and pull the fuses to clear the ECU

Will this turn on any engine light? And is it suppose to be closed when the car is off??
Yes it has a small gap for the engine to breathe while at idle. It will still have a tiny gap when engine is off.

Go ahead and try the battery method if not go to autozone and get the computer to delete the code

Could be one of the reasons. Jon boy when cleaning the TB, dont push open the flap it will loose its mind.
